Is Christianity a cruel religion?

Is Christianity a cruel religion? In most cases the answer is a yes. That is, at least in context of moral reasoning. For example,(1) Original sin: Blaming the guilt of the guilty person on the innocent person.(2) Substitutionary atonement: Take moral responsibility away from rational & conscious creatures. However, there are theological cruelties. For example,(1) The afterlife: Any guilty person can enter paradise by simply accepting (a) Jesus’ divinity, (b) sacrificial death & (c) bodily resurrection from the dead. However, no innocent person (i.e., a person who does not adhere to the Christian Bible on rational grounds) who does not accept Jesus (a, b, c points) is going to enter into the hell fire for all time and be tormented for all time.(2) The Jews: The Christian NT blames Jews (for all time) for killing their deity (i.e., the Jewish man who is worshiped by non-Jews as their Israeli God). Christian blame and killed Jews over much of history for “killing” their man-god.

Which waffen SS Division was the most feared???

sorry paddy the Totenkopf also fielded a field division. it started off very shaky, but once experienced it was a very good fighting force. It also committed more than it's fair share of war crimes.
I don't which one was the most feared, but i would say that the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler,Das Reich, Wiking, and Hitlerjugend were formidable fighting forces that received, and inflicted heavy casualties.

What can I do about suspected animal cruelty?

I live in Southern Cali and I live in an apartment. My neighbors have a snake, 2 birds, and most importantly, a tiny chiuaha (spelling?) dog, and they leave them all outside, practically all day. We have been experiencing well over 100 degree weather here, and the poor little dog cries and cries outside the door the whole time its out there. I think this is so mean- it s breaks my heart, and it has been going on about a week. I complained to the management and they did nothing. Do you think this is animal cruelty? Who can I report it to? Thanks!

If we live in a cruel world, then where does the kind world exist?

A2A.A kind world exists right here amidst the cruel world. The two coexist. Rather, I would go one step still forward to say that we live in a kind world and not in a cruel world. What is a cruel world and what is a kind world?A cruel world is a world that lacks sympathy, love and compassion. It is a world where cruel unexpected things can happen, and mankind is dealt with harsh and cruel punishment for things mankind is not responsible.A kind world, on the other hand, is a world filled with sympathy, love and compassion. It is a world where unexpected things cannot happen as everything is governed by immutable laws of nature, and the laws reflect the compassion of he Almighty. It is a world in which mankind is never dealt with harsh and cruel punishment for things mankind is not responsible. So don’t we really live in a kind world and not in a cruel world? All the cruelty you see around you, is mankind-made or non-man-kind-made? And is there really any punishment? No, I don’t find a single case of punishment! What you think is cruelty or unfair, is actually a shadow of your own past which you cannot see. Had you been able to see your own terrible past, if you remembered all those injustices you have done in the past, say in some past life, it would surely be a very cruel remembrance, which itself would bring great sorrow.According to me, we surely live in a wonderfully kind and compassionate world. I couldn’t have asked for a better world. And all cruelty you see around, the wars, the hatred, the gossip, the superstition, the division of countries and religions, the Gods we fight for, and everything sad, sorrowful, inhuman and cruel, is man-made for which the perpetrator doesn’t get a death penalty and eternal damnation in hell. God has always told us (allegorically, and in scriptures of every religion), “Come to me and seek pardon, and I will forgive you”.Don’t we really live in the kindest of worlds?

Why is capitalism so cruel?

Capitalism is cruel because 'it takes money to make money'. It's really hard to get over the threshold where you can invest something and see your capital grow. Most people try to survive and don't even get the chance to escape poverty. In rich, developed countries a large group is comfortable. They don't need millions but they are still able to live a very very rich life by having regular jobs that require at most 40 hours per week of their attention. Most people in poor countries have no such luxury.Just saw Jason's colleague Jean-Claude Van Damme today in the movie JCVD (a sort of self portrait) in which he brings a monologue about his damned rich life. He agrees and makes your point. He says "what do I bring to the world? Some stupid movies. Why am I awarded so much money for it?"He is showing us the harsh reality. He is awarded not for true value he brings to the world but for economic value. Some would argue: that's the same. No it's not. Economic value is very artificial. Demand can actually be created by marketing 'machines'. There is sound psychological theory on how this works. You can't sell 'happiness in a package'. A happy meal is not the same as actual happiness.
