Could be either : Incorrect account settings Misconfiguration of personal firewall software Anti virus software A bad modem Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) size Outlook Express has been removed from the computer or the installation is damaged Your user profile in Outlook is damaged An e-mail item on your POP3 server is damaged Usually it's just that your computer cant contact the email server for whatever reason. make sure you have internet access, if you do then make sure your firewall is not blocking outgoing packets for your email program ie; outlook/express. make sure your account name is correct and your password is correct. try using the webmail service of your email supplier ie Google webmail yahoo, webmail virgin media etc It may just be that their email server is down so try it again tomorrow.

I can no longer send anything out from Outlook Express. I need my PASSWORD & for the life of me I can't come up with it & I can't make changes without it. I've tried new ID's-NO LUCK. I don't know what to type for incoming,outgoing or Domain-------I'm just stuck-Please help if you can-"THANKS"
