What Is Everything I Should Know About Brazilian Waxing

Thinking about getting a bikini or Brazilian wax....?

It hurts.....but it is sooooo worth it. Having it done the first time is the worst because you don't know what to expect and you don't know the pain threshold. I used to get them done all the time. (Brazillian) until I finally just got it lasered off. Costs a whole lot less in the long run!

If you go for Brazillian....expect your man to be a happy man. So make it a surprize! heheh

The procedure lasts about 30 minutes. Don't be modest....the people who perform these waxes have done and seen it all. They see it prolly 20 times a day and to even practice they've had to take classes and practice on each other. They'll let you know where to move your legs so they can get where they need to go to remove EVERYTHING. (yes they even go in the butt crack too) *lol*
The part that is most painful is at the top (above the "slit") of your v-j-j.
Each strip of pain only lasts for a few seconds. And after it's all over and done with.....no pain. It just feels weird for the first day as if there is a breeze on it from it being "nekkid."

No hair for 6 weeks....and when it grows back....it's much finer and thinner.

Good luck and it's worth the pain of not having to shave and no razor bumps. Plus your mate will follow you everywhere.

Should I get a Brazilian wax?

Okay, I was thinking of surprising my boyfriend by getting a brazilian wax. (removing ALL hair down there, for anyone that doesn't know) I will avoid asking if it hurts, since I think we all know the answer to that.

What I would like to know - from the girls that have got it - how bad is it when it grows back? I've heard if you shave if can grow back / get stubble as little as a week. How awful does it look when it comes back in?

To the guys - what do you think of brazilian wax? I want to surprise my guy so I don't want to ask him if he would want me to do it, is there any guys that wouldn't like this? What do guys honestly think of it?

Thanks for your thoughts, advice and opinions!

16, going for my first BRAZILIAN wax..need to know....?

its normal to have hair automatically down there, as we are mammals we are doomed to have hair in places people can and cant see. every guy does have his own standard though, some like their women with some hair, some dont. what matters most though is that you are comfortable with the way you are, even if it means going completely bare/hairless down there. and for the brazilian way the lady does wax off all the hair down there!! just make sure you tell her what you do and dont want taken off.

have you actually been waxed before? if not, then i got some good info for ya...i have been waxing most of my body, including the butt and brazilian, and have noticed that the hairs come back shorter, finer, more sparse, and take longer to grow out with each waxing session...these waxings i have been doing for a little over a year and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference!!! =)

whenever I get all those areas waxed it the bill comes out a little over $100 plus tip....keep in mind i am a guy which explains the higher price. i live in Odenton, Maryland so I am not sure about the price in your area. you may wanna check out phone books for that. you probably wont need anyone to come with you as long as you can pay.

regarding the pain, it hurts at first, but not as much with each additional waxing session. the pain level for your first time will probably be an 8...next time a 6, than 4, maybe 2, and just 1 to none from then on. as everybody else knows, go to a professional and they will have creams. its much better to wax though since the results are long term and your skin will be baby soft/smooth for a long time =)

after waxing a few times some hairs will stop growing back, however, for permanent results you may wanna try laser hair removal. after the first session i noticed that in some areas the hair did not grow back at all!! try it if you would like, its gonna cost ya a pretty penny, but its painless and the results last forever. because each persons' skin type is different you may have to get multiple treatments for all thair to be gone. on average you need 5 to 6 treatments.

I've been getting Brazilian waxes every 4 weeks for the past 3 months. Within 3-4 days I have significant stubble again. Do I just have incorrigible pubes, or does my waxer not know what she's doing?

It’s possible your hair is breaking off rather than being pulled out at the root. Or that some of your hair isn't long enough to wax. Try waiting six weeks between sessions. Or you could just do it once a week instead and see if that helps. Does she tweeze the strays after waxing?

Im 15 and want to get a brazilian wax. what do you think?

Your really young... just wait.

How old do you have to be to get a Brazilian Wax?

Well,i'm 15,not sexually active or planning on being sexually active till marriage, but i was just wondering, how old do you have to be to get a brazilian wax at a salon?
FYI i live in Texas

Can men get a Brazilian wax?

Manscaping is the now the most common trend for men, caveman days are really over. Right from clean armpits, to shaved chests and smoothen pubic areas men are removing every inch of unwanted hairs from their bodies. (Refer to To Manscape or Not?)Brazilian wax is the latest technique that is becoming popular in India, right from Mumbai to Delhi many salons are offering the hair removing services for manscaping bodies. (Refer to Manscaping Tips For Men)These techniques exfoliate the hair follicles that helps in easy pulling out the hair with absolute no resistance as recommended by MALEGROOMINGACADEMY .COM that advises celebrities, sportsmen and players on fitness, lifestyle, fashion, grooming and styling.

How old do you have to be to recieve a brazilian wax in VA?

As far as I'm aware there isn't a state-mandated age requirement for waxing services. Each salon has their own rules. Some allow waxing on minors with parental consent and some do not. I've never had a Brazilian but I've had a bikini wax and brow waxes. At the salon I go to in LA everyone under the age of 17 must bring a parent with them for each service. You can get a Brazilian as long as your parent consents in writing. This is just that salon's policy. You need to check with the salon you're wanting to go to for the service. Most likely they will need your parents to come with you and sign off on it.

I would seriously rethink a Brazilian. I'm a competitive dancer and a ton of girls I dance with have had Brazilians during dance competition season for the convenience of it, but I know most regret them. That's a very sensitive part of your body and it's going to be awkward, uncomfortable, and painful to have it waxed. When the hair grows back in it itches like crazy. If you're worried about swimsuit season you could just get a bikini wax.
