What Is Going On With My Dog

How do I leave my dog while going abroad? See description below and help me.

Well very frankly find a relative whom u can give the dog to. Make sure he has kids. Yes they will hate him for a few weeks (as relatives are ). But soon start loving him and will care for himU can try and apply for ur pet visa too. Depends on the place ur going take him with you. And i can see someone helping you, the comment before me( with due respect). I'll suggest not to give a dog to a stranger(again ,no offence) . Not because he'll not take good care but it's very difficult to return the dog back. Iv seen some legal matters in my life too. I hope you find a way.( try that pet visa thing, inquire about it)

What is going on with my dog?

Hair loss and dermatitis can have a myriad of causes. Fungal infections, bacterial (staph) infections, mange mites, allergic dermatitis, glandular problems, contact dermatitis, etc., etc.,. The problem with skin issues in dogs and cats is that all causes can look the same. Thus, a significant amount of diagnostic effort is usually required to find out what is the problem and how to resolve the issue.Signalment of the pet is also very important. How old is your dog? Male or female? Neutered or intact? Indoor, outdoor, or both? Other dogs or cats in the house? All of this information will go into (along with testing procedures) determining the most likely cause and the best way to treat.Patterns of hair loss can say a lot about possible causes. Based on the pictures provided, it seems that the hair loss is mostly along the lower back and legs. If so, then the top of list will go flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). This is a possibility even if you do not see fleas on your dog. Even if your dog is on flea preventatives. A dog goes out side or even you going in and out of your house can expose the dog to fleas. Fleas prefer dogs to human so it will jump on the dog, bite the dog, inject its saliva, and some dogs will have an allergic reaction to the proteins in that saliva.Again, this is just a supposition based on the pictures provided. A LOT more information is needed prior to a diagnosis. The good news is that most skin problems in dogs are easily addressed, treated, and/or managed with proper care.See your vet to get to the bottom of the problem.Good luck.

My dog is going crazy over fireworks?

Some behaviorists feel that if you try to soothe them too much you may actually encourage the fearful behavior. Your own actions might make the dog feel there is something wrong. It may be a better idea to play games with them or find some other normal activity that the dog enjoys.
Close the windows and curtains, to reduce the noise.
You can play music loud enough to muffle the sound.

If you know your dog has a problem with fireworks, and can not avoid the situation, consult a vet well before the event. The vet may supply tranquilizers (which are difficult to get on the holiday)
Some advise putting a small amount of white mineral oil in your dog's ear. This somewhat mutes the noise.
Here are some good tips to help you be prepared for the next fireworks:( New Years)

How can I stop my dog from going into the neighbors houses?

It will learn soon enough, puppies are all like that, my dog was the exact same way but hes 7 now and we never have problems.

What going on in my dog’s mind and body just before I put down his food bowl?

Not being psychic to dogs’ feelings, I can only guess what’s going on in their minds when you’re fixing their meals. For most dogs, there is excitement and enthusiasm. Getting fed is wonderful. Mom (or dad) is a wonderful person for giving me my food. Some are more enthusiastic than others; some hide their excitement well.

Why did my dog stop going in the kitchen?

Do you have a hardwood or tile floor?I had a husky for 16 years who stopped coming into the kitchen after age 8 or so. His nails and long foot fur caused him to slip on the hardwood floor, and as he was getting older he didn’t want to deal with the slipping and sliding anymore! (He was very difficult when it came to trimming his nails)I’d recommend putting down a few rugs in areas where you want to allow him/her to go. We did this for my dog, so rather than him slipping and falling or getting tangled in our feet while cooking, he could sit and watch from a nice distance.

How do i keep my puppy from going under my bed?

I got a new puppy a week ago and he keeps going under my bed. My bed frame is 16 inches high so i’m worried he will pee or poop under it and it will be really hard to clean. I cant find anything to buy and put there. Anyone know how to stop him or block it off? if i don’t watch him for just a second he goes under there.

What is going on with my dog with parvo diagnosed by the vet, might i add...?

I know what you're going through. My german shepherd puppy got parvo a year ago and I took him to the vet . She said he was going to die if I didn't leave him in the hospital (which was WAY to much money If I had it I would've but I didn't) So the vet just gave me this white medicine in a syringe and I gave him ALOT of pedyalite with the same syringe EVERY hour. I gave him only boiled chicken and I watched him constantly. He got better within the week (in a day or two he had most of his strength back. So just do the same and give her alot of care and attention. Good luck.

EDIT: keep trying don't give up !! The vet I went to just wanted money and usually if a dog dies of parvo it happens within the first few days of not being treated.
After everything is over disinfect the area ur doggie was in (ur dog won't get parvo again but if you go somewhere with the disease or bring another dog to ur house you might get other dogs sick, so disinfect with bleach)
