Redken makes a great line but it's not that strong. You want something medicinal. You give up to get. T gel smells medicinal in the bottle but once you rinse and rinse after washing you don't smell like the shampoo at all. You smell fresh. If you smell like medicine, it is because YOU did not rinse good enough.If you have really greasy hair you need to use conditioners, gels, creams, hair spray, pomade, and all other products the size of a dime.You all put way too much product in your hair and you don't wash them out really well. Some how you think just letting the water run over your head is good enough. It's not. You actually need to use your finger tips to loosen all that sebum and grease and dandruff and product and air pollution out of your hair, scalp and skin on your body. Aussie-Its called Cleanse and Mend. Gears towards greasy roots and frizzy ends. I really love this shampoo because the biggest problem I find with my greasy hair is that it doesn't start that way , but depending on what kinda shampoo I use it gets that way and LOOKS that way really fast-which I hate. I just switched to this brand a few months ago and have been having great luck:)

ok, you will have to buy three things, (my little sister has really greasy hair and this worked for her, and it is the perfect combo) ok, buy a thing of head and shoulders, (it says dandruff shampoo (there isnt conditioner, and idk the price, bit i know it is cheap), but it works for greasy hair also) use head and shoulders everyother time you shower, and then buy VO5 shampoo & conditioner (like 1-2 $), (i prefer strawberries and cream scent it last for a long time like 2 days and it smells like body spray, i get compliments all the time) and use it everytime you shower, even when you use the H&S, use the H&S first, then do the VO5 after, and your hair will be AWESOME!!!!trust me, totally diregard what everybody else says, this is what will work cheap, and will totally work!!!
Good shampoo for thin, oily hair?
My hair is really thin and oily and has absolutly no volume. I've tried dove, herbal essences, stuff from the body shop, and bumble and bumble. The only one I really liked was bumble and bumble but it was really expensive to keep buying it. Everything was a volumizing shampoo/conditioner. I need something to give my hair body and keep it from looking oily. Any brands?

Herbal Essences Hydralicious: Self Targeting Shampoo seems to work well for me and my hair is very smooth and gets greasy fast. It makes it less greasy. It is dark pink and light phaven'txed together in the bottle. Also, I would use the conditioner that goes along with it but I haven't tried it yet.
Pantene shampoo made my hair greasy?!!!
Okay you guys all the the PANTENE hair product right? Well just today i tried using their shampoo and conditioner and instead of silky and smooth hair it made my hair hard and soooo greasy looking/feeling. I usually use Head And Shoulders and Herbal Enssense for my hair. and it alwayss made my hair look perfect like silky, in place and everything. Now this pantene product made it all disgusting!!! I even washed my hair AGAIN for the second time using my normal hair product that i always use. But it still has pantene in my hair therefore making it disgusting looking.... So my question is... will my hair be back to normal if i wait about 2 or 3 days and wash it with my normal Head And Shoulders and Herbal Enssense??? Please dont tell me i will have this greasy hair forever!!!! Grrrr im gonna kill Pantene.....

frankly you can use any shampoo made for oily skull but what will work is that get an egg white and put it in your scalp and leave it for 10 minutes or so then wash hair with luke warm water - shampoo and rinse - use conditioner only on the edges so it won't make your skull oily -
Best shampoo or treatment for greasy hair?
I have long, very thick, dark hair, it's in pretty good condition but I wear it up nearly all the time because if I wear it down it gets greasy very quickly, within an evening sometimes. Any ideas for good shampoo or alternatives I can use so I can enjoy my hair a little more! Thanks.
