What's so special about google plus?
Google+ is a lot better than Facebook, is less pointless than Facebook. First of all, Google + marks points where Facebook marked points ahead of Orkut, a clean interface!! But Google Plus is even more clear and simpler than Facebook. Everything is neat and clearer. The use of colors is very good and unlike Facebook, Google Plus uses the advanced HTML5 with lots of fluvial animation. Another big “plus” is that there are no bugs. Facebook has a habit of getting glitchy and data loss, but Google Plus is glitch free … well at least so far it is, but looking at Google’s history, it will stay free of issues. Also Google Plus promises enhanced security as compared to facebook which has a history of many security leaks. Google Plus is a better platform also because Facebook changed its workflow and the way it handles certain areas like Pages, Groups a number of times as it grew big. but Google Plus already has everything planned up and they will launch everything step by step. At the moment only the social networking is in place, groups and stuff will come later. Google has played another trick. They have attached the Picasa with Google Plus. Basically your Picasa albums will now serve as your profile albums in plus. This might be an issue for those people who used to put all their net findings on Picasa and used it as Imageshack. But there is an easy way to bypass this issue by simply changing the privacy settings of all those albums to private and they will no longer show in your Plus profile. This will resurrect the Picasa and will make it more useful for people. Also Buzz is back in Plus.. this might not interest people and might not be helpful.
Is Google evil.......?
Yes, they are an advertising compony so they love to learn all about you. You see all queries from google.com are stored in a database and connected to you. Ic you use chrome becuse they merged the search and URL bar google knows every website you go to. If you don't use chrome and you go to a site with google ads then google knows you were there too. If you use android they have all knods of personal information about you, think about it how much information is on you phone? Google scans all emails you receive in a gmail account looking for information about you. Google scans all google chats too. There is much much more that I could talk about but well I don't have all day, however If your going off of this google / apple location data thing tho you don't have anyhitng to worry about. All location information for both are annomysed.
Is Google plus still worth using for a business?
People say that Google plus is just a copycat of Facebook and it was created to steal Facebook’s thunder. Well, I do agree that Google+ has failed as a social network but still it would be foolish to ignore it. Let me tell you why.When you are promoting your brand online finding the targeted user is important. For example, if you are a job recruiter company, getting likes, comments or share from teenagers doesn’t improve your revenue. Your business page needs to connect with the relevant users because only the right individual can be converted into a loyal customer.Since people are unfamiliar with Google plus, they are too hesitant to try it. They avoid this huge marketing platform just because “others/competitors” are not using it. What I feel is “If nobody else is using it means less competition” and less competition is always good.
