The human centipede, scary?
It's Grim, I don't know who would think up of such a thing, never mind make a film out of it! I didn't find it scary as such, very disturbing, slightly jumpy. I have seen many films and it's up there for Grimness, but I wasn't scared.

My friend recently suggested tht we watch the movie human centipede. I am not too scared of scary movies, but movies like the exorcist terrify me. I was wondering if this movie would be ok to watch. Is it really scary? Please tell me what u think about it

This movie is so... different. Its like a porn movie and horror movie combined. Its not at all scary, although tries to be. The human centipede is digusting as all get out.. and you'll be on the verge of barfing. I dont reccomend this to anybody, but i would watch it again. Its very very different from like any other movie, and thats why i like it. I believe people over react to how gross it is. The worst part in it, is peoples moths and anus's get connected.. which is rather sickining, but not as bad. So, watch it if you wanna, many say you'll regret watching it.. but from personal experience i dont.

No. It really isn't scary at all, it is kinda gross but there's much scarier and grosser things out there. I can't say anything about the sequel as I haven't seen it yet.

It's really not that gory. The three words I would describe it would be: disturbing, controversial, and stupid. No, it's not a good movie. It's obvious goal is to amplify the movie's shock factor, which it does quite well. But it's really bad. The acting isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. It's annoying to watch, and rather pointless. Honestly, only a sick mind would like that movie, let alone create it. Don't waster your time. I thought the scariest thing about it was how shockingly bad the acting was. If all you have to do to be an actress is cry for an hour or so I could have a future in it... But really, it's not scary, and I didn't even find it that gross. The whole thing just seemed stupid to me :P

This is also the first I heard of it, but I just skimmed The Human Centipede (First Sequence) - Wikipedia.Perhaps this is better thought of as surrealism with symbolic imagery rather than trying to make any sense of out it. It sounds like the product of a sick mind to me. I can’t imagine enjoying such a film, but to each his own.
