What Is It Like In Los Angeles

What is the Weather Like In Los Angeles?

There's a relatively narrow temperature range in Los Angeles, the normal high is 66 in January and 76 in August, the low is normally around 48 in January and 64 in August. One thing that is noticeable is that the chance of rain during the summer in Los Angeles drops to almost zero (averages less than .3 inches). while the winter average rainfall is around 3 inches.

What are the women like in Los Angeles?

I lived there for five years...

The place is so god damned big that you have basically every type of person there, however, this much must be said:

- Superficial. Everyone in LA is superficial. Moreso than anywhere else I've ever been, people in LA have lists of what "Mr. Right" or "Mrs. Right" is, and also moreso than anywhere else I've been, they are VERY averse to stepping outside that little list. Moreover, if they do, and they end up in a relationship with someone that makes them happy but they aren't exactly what they wanted, then they're quite apt to dump that person once they think that something "better" has come along.

I'm 25. All my friends back in Boston are getting engaged, or married, or having kids... all my friends in LA? No change since they were 18.

- Materialistic. It's true. Sorry if this ruffles any feathers. If you want a woman's heart, buy her a pair of big, shiny, expensive sunglasses and she's yours until another guy comes along to buy her a bigger, shinier pair of sunglasses. Be vigilant, and be able to keep her happy, up to and including a new car. Because LA County has a higher number of millionaires than anywhere else in *the entire damn world*, a lot of girls (especially very attractive ones) know that if they hold out and play the cards right, even if they can't get a millionaire to actually marry them and provide everything for them, they can get lots of jewelry, clothing, travelling, shoes, bills, and sometimes rent or cars out of dating. If you're an average dude, you have to REALLY know what you're doing.

- Noncomittal. "Relationship" is a four-letter word in Los Angeles no matter what your gender, socioeconomic, or sexual orientation situations are. You can have spent the last six months exclusive with someone, crash at eachothers' places every night, maybe even live together awhile, meet eachothers' parents, share groceries, and you're still "dating" or "seeing" that person... people seem to run in terror from the boyfriend/girlfriend label.

LA is a total singles town, but it's not a good place if you're looking for anything serious, or if you're new to dating. When I lived there, I spent awhile looking for something substantial, and then gave up and just embraced the premarital sex.

Whats it like living in los angeles?

It's the entertainment capital of the world so you know you'll always have fun (especially if you're into movie magic), AND the weather is perfection. No, you don't bump into celebs as often as one might think, but you do see them more often than others obviously.

The traffic is a little hectic, but it's a huge city, that's a given. The smog sucks, but all of the positives definitely overpower the two negatives.

Whether you're a city person, a beach person, or a mountain person, Los Angeles is the place for you.

Edit: Compared to many other places, the weather IS pretty remarkable. A little rain never hurt anyone...except a melting witch.
