What Is It Like To Work At A Women

How do women feel about getting flowers at work?

I just found out this weekend that this girl is wanting a relationship with me but she doesn't think I'm very romantic. BUT up until this weekend I thought we were just good friends and wasn't even trying to be. She mentioned that she likes flowers and I was just wondering if that would be a step in the right direction as far as being romantic and such of if women would rather just get them at home or if I were to just show up at her house with some...also any other bits of advice from you women would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

*She told me straight up that she wants a relationship with me but she was a little drunk although not drunk enough that she was completely out of it. And her work environment is pretty laid back. Also I've known her for about a year and we kinda tried dating when we first met but she wasn't that into me because she had just gotten out of a long relationship and was really heartbroken at the time. But now says she is ready.

Do women use men like men use women?

of course , a free meal, casual sex, even a ride to work what's the problem?

What is it like to work in Japan as a woman?

Interesting question.  I worked there as a woman, and not only that, as a foreigner as well.  My experience there tells me how well/badly you're treated as a working woman in Japan will depend on your skin color, passport, your field of specialty, etc.  I would say as a foreign woman, if you are from a Western country and Caucasian and working in English, you tend to get treated better because the English language emphasizes equality (Not to mention speaking English in Japan means you get paid a lot better).   Any time you have to speak in Japanese, you will be greatly disvantaged because Japanese language can be seen as rather sexist (by Western standards) in that the woman must use a special ending to emphasize her softer gender and her deprecation.   Unfortuantely, most foreingers from Asia or Southeast Asia tend to work in a Japanese speaking environment, and as a result, they get the lower hand, which could be hampered further by the foreigner's lack of fluency in the language.   As I said before elsewhere, in Japan, if you're a woman, you have one strike against you because, as many who have experienced Japan first hand can testify, Japan is very much of an old boys' club.   If you're a foreigner and a woman, you have two strikes against you.  If you are a woman, a foreigner and from an Asian/less developed country, then you have three strikes against you.  My advice to any foreign woman looking to work in Japan is this: try to use your English edge as much as you can.   Knowing English well and being able to offer it as part of your expertise will help you get paid more and gain greater respect.

What is it like to work as a woman in UAE?

Good! We're well protected.I have worked for someone else for a few years, and now I own my own company. I’ve never had a problem because of my gender.I think that how we're treated depends more on nationality, education and age. I'm European, with a degree, in my 40s, hence no one is really going to mess up with me. However, and with all due respect to other backgrounds, if I was an Indian young woman in an office full of Indian employees (originally from India, not 2nd generation from UK etc), I reckon they would not treat me as nice. So I believe that a lot of the situations in which people are treated one way or another, are based on how that culture behaves back home.Other than that, women really are extremely protected over here.

How can we force women to work more hours and do more difficult work like men to eliminate the gender wage gap?

feminists will never do that. they aren't really interested in equal work. they just want equal outcomes, regardless of effort.

consider that men are 10 times more likely to die on the job than women.
this is because men have to do the dangerous jobs that women won't do.

Woman at work no longer speak to me?

well some women got something like "mental disorder". Crying, feeling depressed, feeling ugly, etc. I wouldnt be close to someone like that. Talk with someone who is a high confidence and be happy with herself. and not a crybaby or a mental.

Do sappy love songs work?(Women answer)?

yea love songs work for me all the time because i have guy problems. they always hurt me, never call me or act like a complete morone and it makes me feel so much better when i hear the song "she will be loved" even "my heart will go on" it calms me down and makes me cry which all in all makes me feel better. so good luck and keep on listening, it's very relaxing and helpful and hopefully so was I !!!!!! nikki
