What Is Meant By Trance Of Life

What is the meaning of 138 in trance music?

Well it Means That The Tempo of that Genre is 138bpm (Beats per minute) and a beat means a wave to complete one oscillation , You can try that in different tempo too , by putting your notes and drums in faster sequence but you will not get that trance feeling , so to make a great track , you should stick to that BPM……

Is trance music a way of life?

In my own interpretation, I would say yes. If we refer to shamanism and anything tribal, music and the act of entering a trance had a really important meaning, for a tribe, in terms of decisions taking or as a ritual that would be part of a highly emotional event. In our current world, there's a certain need from people to connect with themselves, in a way that they can't do, in regular life. Perhaps a spiritual need. We all have, one day, a desire to either take a pause from all the problems and feel our roots again. The quest to find a sacred place comes and music plays an important role in that.If you refer to trance music, as the electronic music genre, I believe that's part of the movement where people also have the desire and need to connect with a community, with people who have that need as well. The music is something that is common dominator, where it rallies the crowd to an event. The way this genre is made, uses characteristics of pop music in its structure (breakdowns, verse, chorus), which enables people to easily connect with what's happening. In general, the musical content of trance is generally positive, which induces people to pleasant feelings. If you apply that to a way of life, it would mean that you put those events as catalyst for rituals and community sharing. You would go through you regular life doing things but would go every now and then, back to the ritual to connect with yourself. A trance state of mind, or getting in the zone, as artists generally describe it, is also about totally immersed in the moment. It's being completely connected inside out. I don't believe this is some state of mind that can (easily) be brought out to every moment of life, but if you practice meditation, you can work towards getting closer to that. It would mean that you're more accepting things, can focus easily, get inspired, warm, compassionate, open. And going to events would be a reminder of that state of mind you wish to reach, through harder or easier moments. That's how I see it, at least.

What does a live set mean in the context of trance music?

There is the DJ:Live set in this case means that the DJ is presenting a set of records he preselected before attending the show.He has put some thoughts in to the overall mood he wants to create and takes a good look for the records that fit his idea of what he wants to present and selects a certain amount of records that will do his bidding. The DJ than can put the records and titles in any order he thinks it fits best for the show. That means he can have the exact same set of records around the next show and still create another sound image with that. The life musicians:Than there are musicians like 'Shpongle' who do a mix of playing life instruments to preset beat patterns and melodies. But also the beat pattern and melodies can be created life on stage. But I would not call this a set.I lean towards the DJ type of presenter to have a 'set' of music he simply presents rather than playing live. Also some DJs are the actuall producers of the music they play out so it makes easier for them to present their own music and promote it in the same way.

In The Perks of Being a Wallflower, what did the trance mean to Charlie?

I think that the trance could mean that Charlie gets so overwhelmed trying to participate in everyday life. The situation with his aunt seems to take over his mind most of the time, and anything that reminds him of that puts him in a "trance"

What is the meaning of getting into trance in Hinduism? Why do they claim they have been "possessed" by God? How far is this true?

If anyone start believing first, then s/he can claim just anything- and then search for ‘fact’ that support it. That is true for just any religion, Hinduism included. “Possessed by God” (or Demon or any such ‘power’) is as true as believing in heaven, hell, cow is God, pig is ‘unclean’ and not worthy to be eaten, Jesus had a blue eyes blond hair, world was created in 6 days and/or about 10,000 years ago, there are hoors (beautiful ladies) and Allah in moon and so on. Scientifically speaking, hallucination (and being tricked to ‘see’ god, demon, dead relatives/friends etc) has certain conditions (besides some mental disorder) to be met- empty stomach, intense mental desire (to meet), lack of oxygen (scented smoke does a good job in this), most importantly (or preferably) during early morning or late night period when our brain undergoes fifth stage of sleep, REM. Most dreaming occurs during stage five, known as REM. REM sleep is characterized by eye movement, increased respiration rate and increased brain activity.

What is trance/techno song name with "Feel you in my dreams" lyrics?

Ok guys, I'm at my wit's end. This song was played over at 24 Hour Fitness, and I really liked what I heard, but I can not for the life of me, figure out the lyrics to the chorus. The song is sung by a girl, and I think it is better classified as trance rather than techno, but it is definitely electronic. On to the main parts of the song...
The main feature is that the bass and melody dies down slowly in the middle, and the girl just whispers: "I can feel you in my dreams." And then the song and the bass picks up again and chorus replays.
The first line to the chorus always sounds something like "All my loverrrr..." This was definitely wrong, but was all I could discern because the song has a lot of echoes and the words are muffled against the gym's background noise. The song is quite slow, which is why I think it falls under trance rather than techno. It just sounds pleasant and uplifting.
Also, at the end of each chorus, she repeats high, high, etc. for about 5 times. Again, this could be wrong because I wasn't exactly sure what she was saying. But it is a word that rhymes with high, so "fly" could also be a possibility.
Please let me know if you guys come up with anything
