What Is Moral Perception

What is the impact of moral entrepreneurs on your perception of family?

Moral entrepreneurs do what it takes to bring morality to places where it hasn't been before, embrace new responsibilities, making them their own, and persuade their peers to do likewise, expand conscience, the fundamental prerequisite for concern, commitment, and action. The mission of the moral entrepreneur is not to create a new tax-exempt organization. It is to inspire others to engage deeply in community causes and to do so in a way that leverages their unique strengths.

What is your perception about the movie 50 FIRST DATES??

What surprised me about the movie is that it was definitely not just a comedy as I thought it was going to be. Sure, it was funny at points and even hilarious sometimes, but it was also very romantic. There's just something deep behind the whole idea of falling in love with someone over and over again. This movie deals with that in the literal sense and there's just something beautiful about that. I would definitely recommend this film for anybody to watch. Especially those people who think true love does not exist, and that when there is a problem in love that it is best just to let it go. This movie definitely shows that no matter how big the problem is, you can still end up with the person you love, if there is TRUE love involved.

What is Trump’s perception of decency and morality?

Trump behaves and talks as if he thinks anyone trying to stay within the bounds of these concepts is just plain stupid. They are as dumb as people who fulfill contracts, keeps the 10 commandments, and pay their taxes.

How might general morality and perception of mortality change if, in many but not all instances, the human consciousness can be transferred to another body?

This only sounds strange if we must view consciousness as some kind of ethereal substance. However, if we start with the assumption that our consciousness of being a “self” that is contained in a body, “mine,” is simply constructed from ongoing neural computation, such body swapping will not seem all that strange. In fact, it should be expected. Just alter the way neurons compute and construct this representation of self. Here, the visual feedback the participant receives is swapped for that of a manikin (the perspective is shown to the right) . Persistent tactile stimuli administered not to the participant but the manikin results in a sense of ownership or self extending to the manikin—-i.e., the body swap illusionhttp://journals.plos.org/plosone...This is shown with humans as well, below. So, after knowing this how might morality be affected? It can only help us realize just how deeply connected we are to others, and that our differences are ultimately rather trivial.

What is a Moral Dimension?

Hey D,
This is an interesting question which can be answered by the law of relativity.

A moral dimension is a social dimension that lies beyond a person consciousness and between him and others.
Morality is a social attribute. What ever I will count as 'moral' is irrelevant because I am the 'doer'. it will come from my ego. Only a person whom I 'acted upon" can say if he felt my action to be 'moral' or not, he will be able to teach me and by that I will go through a change.

Meaning, morality can not exist in a singular dimension (between me and myself), but is sustained in duality, in relativity, when two forces gravitate towards each other (when my friend teaches me of morality). Hence the 'moral dimension' can be revealed only with in a group of people.

The wisdom of kabbalah is a scientific method which explains how to reveal and attain the higher dimensions which lie only between people.

Which is more important: intention or perception?

Which should you listen to more?

example: We in America believe ourselves to be moral, charitable, god fearing people who have opted to spread our way of life around the world.

The world sees us a tyrannical gluttons with no morals who just want to exploit the weak to become richer.

Which point of view is reality? Which is more important?

NOTE: this is not a hate America statement, it is simply the easiest example I can think of.

What is moral panic and how is related to public perception?

Moral panic explained

Moral panic is a reaction by a group of people based on the false or exaggerated perception that some cultural behavior or group, frequently a minority group or a subculture, is dangerously deviant and poses a menace to society. It has also been more broadly defined as an "episode, condition, person or group of persons" that has in recent times been "defined as a threat to societal values and interests." [1] They are byproducts of controversies that produce arguments and social tension, or aren't easily discussed as some of these moral panics are taboo to many people."

Public perception

"These panics are generally fueled by media coverage of social issues, although semi-spontaneous moral panics do occur. Moral panics (as defined by Stanley Cohen) revolve around a perceived threat to a value or norm held by a society normally stimulated by glorification within the mass media or 'folk legend' within societies. Panics have a number of outcomes, the most poignant being the certification to the players within the panic that what they are doing appears to warrant observation by mass media and therefore may push them further into the activities that lead to the original feeling of moral panic.

The influences and behaviors of young people are common themes in many moral panics."

How do you perceive morality, is it subjective or universal?

Read this book: The Bonobo and the Atheist. You'll discover that in all the "superior" animals (ape, elephants, monkeys...) you find behaviours that can be considered "moral". That means that morality, in the broad sense, is universal and biological/evolutive: if you act nice to your kin, your species has more survival oportunities.Humans have extense and complex sets of moral behaviours. These sets share all a common base and then each one has their own cultural characteristics. Today is inmoral to have slaves or beat your wife, in the past it wasn't --- culture changed, morality changed too.Since each human has a very complex brain with personal neuronal connections they have what can be called "subjectivity". Each human uses they subjectivity to decide which moral rule of they culture is actually moral (good for the species) or not.So, in brief:Morality is:Universal because every animal with a complex brain has conscious behaviours and makes decisions that are for the good of the species instead of the good for the self.Cultural because each culture develops the set of behaviours and decisions that fit best for the survival of the species in a given time and geography.Individual because each person decides which behaviours and decisions from the moral set of the culture they live in are good for their species/society.
