What Is My Voice Type For Singing

If my range is C3 to G5, what is my voice type?

Your voice classification could be from alto to first soprano.

What is my voice type and How many octave range I sing? etc.?

Definitely a soprano vocal range, by both definitions, and it covers just under 2 and half octaves. The C6 note is legendary for being the note that only soprano singers can reach, though not all sopranos can get there and some mezzo-soprano singers can reach just as high if they train their voices hard.

Here's the list of voice types. Your vocal range is normally defined as being what pitch you can reach with your chest, middle and head register (so not including vocal fry and whistling). These boundaries are actually only approximate.

The six main vocal ranges are:
Soprano (high female: ~ C4 to C6)
Mezzo-Soprano (average female: ~ G3 to G5)
Contralto (low female: ~ E3 to E5)
Tenor (high adult male: ~ B3 to B5)
Baritone (average adult male: ~ F2 to F4)
Bass (low adult male: ~ D2 to D4)

In opera, these ranges are subdivided even further to help classify singers for each roles. For example, sopranos can be divided into lyrical, coloratura, dramatic, soubrette and spinto sopranos. This is based on factors such as their precise vocal range, their tessiture ("comfort range"), location of their different registers, singing power and others. There are a few other rare categories too: a counter-tenor is a male singer with a higher vocal range than a tenor (thus overlapping with contraltos) and a female singer with a vocal range between that of a soprano and mezzo-soprano is sometimes classed as a zwischenfrau.

For the purposes of choral music, there are only four:
Soprano: Same as above
Alto: Mezzo-soprano and contralto
Tenor: Tenor and some baritone singers. Occasionally, female contralto singers will sing the male tenor parts, as tenor choir singers are often hard to come by.
Bass: Bass and some baritone singers

Any singer has to strain their voice somewhat to reach the highest notes in their range. This becomes easier only with practice. Soprano and tenor singers usually (but not always) find it easier to reach the highest notes in their range because they have a stronger head voice.

What is my voice type? (I am male)

To be honest, this sample is not a good representative of your voice recording. You need to at least be able to sing mostly in tune and not push or squeeze for your notes (I noticed you cracked at several parts) before you can determine your voice type. At the same time, your voice will continue to change throughout the years as you keep developing it, so trying to determine your vocal type during the first time you sing is not a good idea and totally not advisable, especially since most singers have limited vocal ranges at the start.I would recommend you to find a qualified vocal coach, preferably one with a degree in vocal pedagogy, that can help you in your vocal development. All the best :)

What would be my voice type if I sing comfortably from G3 to D5, but my vocal range is from G3 to F6 ? Am I alto or mezzo?

It’s difficult to tell without hearing you. Mezzo is more of a color rather than range. If your voice is as of yet undeveloped and your comfort zone is up to D, a 9th above middle C, you can still be a soprano. F6 is the highest note for the Queen of the Night which most sopranos like myself cannot reach. Mozart may have written the aria a tone lower anyway according to the different standards of pitch 220 years ago. In any case, gradually building up the vocal scale is a long and patient process, but really worth it.

What is my voice type and fach???

My voice teacher insists I'm a soprano, but others usually tell me that I show mezzo characteristics.

My vocal range (in regards to highest and lowest note) is A2-A6, although I am most comfortable from D3- Bb5. (the upper and lower extremes are definitely forced)

People usually say my voice is sweet, bright, and lyrical.

My vocal break is about Bb4 but I normally transition at about E4.
The biggest problems I have when singing are shaky vibrato and trouble navigating the passagio.

What do you think my voice type and fach is?

What is my voice type if I comfortably sing between (A3-A4)? It ranges from G3 to D6 but 90% of time I’m singing from A3 to c5 maximum. Is that contralto or mezzo?

Depends on your age, and if you’re involved in a professional opera company. Your voice type is irrelevant to range and control, and there is no reason to worry about it. You can either perform a piece or you can’t, and you know what your limits are. If you are in a professional opera company, however, they will be able to classify you after hearing you for an extended period. That is the only time this ever matters for anyone, and I don’t understand why people are continuing to obsess over it. It’s not important while you’re learning, or until/if you’re in a company.
