What Is My Voice Type/ How Good Is My Range

If my range is C3 to G5, what is my voice type?

Your voice classification could be from alto to first soprano.

What is my voice type if my range is D3-C6?

There isn't enough info to help you. Vocal range plays a small role in determining voice types.

As for octaves, that would be two semitones away from 3 octaves.

What is my voice type (Range-A1-G4-F5)?

You sound like you are indeed a bass. Your low notes have a great amount of presence. You should certainly keep practicing to get better at it - I can hear a decent singing voice in you.I would have to agree with Mr. Stanford Felix that you are singing too far in the back of the mouth. I might be wrong here, but it seems like you are trying to darken the sound too much to add presence and roundness like a classical singer, but ending up not putting the voice forward and instead swallowing your sound, causing some of the pitches to be flat and the tone to lack clarity. It might sound full and rich to you, but that is not necessarily the case to the listeners because what we hear in our inner ear is a distorted version of our actual sound. The other extreme of this problem would be trying to sound youthful and bright like a pop or R&B star such as Michael Jackson, The Weeknd or Bruno Mars, but only ending up getting a tone that is too sharp, nasal and squeezed with no warmth to the listener. Studying with a voice teacher that has a great ear can really help to sort out this issue, because he or she will give you a better idea on how to get the best out of your tone based on your natural voice. Hope that helps!

My vocal range is F2-D5. What is my voice type?

That's not 3 Octaves and there's no Semitone lol A Semitone would be Eb5/C#5/Bb5/F#5 and such. Anyway, you have 2 (TWO) octaves and 5 notes which is 2.5 Octaves.

And your voice type is Contralto. Any female that can go into the 2nd octave, especially as low as a 2nd Octave F Natural while extending only to D5 (typical contralto range) then you're of the lower voice type 'cause your tessitura is low. You're definately without a doubt a Contralto with a 2.5 Octave range.

What is my vocal range and voice type?

The important part of Voice categorization is not just range but how comfortable you are in particular ranges. Simply from your range I would assume you are a soprano, but all elite mezzo's have to sing a C6 so it depends more on how comfortable you are singing up there. A Coloratura mezzo is a rarer voice type, used a lot by Rossini and in some Mozart roles. The voice type is often confused with a Lyric soprano but has a deeper timbre.

If you plan on continuing voice study then your voice teacher will probably help you figure out what voice type you have. Registration also plays a strong part in how to categorize although that is hard to discuss without hearing your voice. Registration is when your voice shifts between chest, middle, and head, as well as whistle register in women. If you are a soprano you might not be using your whistle which would cause the notes above B5 to sound as strong as they could if you learned to access your whistle, if you were a Mezzo well then notes about G5 or A5 will not be as strong.

Knowing if you are a soprano or mezzo is more important for you at this point then knowing if you are a coloratura mezzo or sourbrette. when you start giving specific categories you have to base that on how agile the voice is, or possible how you handle held notes verses melissmatic sections. Only a trained teacher can help you discover those things, and sometimes you might never know for sure.

The last thing to keep in mind is that you could be a Shpischinfach (I'm not sure if I spelled it right, I can say it). this is a voice type that is both a soprano and a mezzo. You would feel comfortable in either range, and if you truely were this then you will spend your life with people telling you all kinds of things that are probably not true.

My vocal range is D2-G4, what is my voice type?

Not possible to classify your voice type just by range.I myself can sing E2 to C5. I was classified as a bass for some time, then bass baritone, then baritone, and eventually tenor. After this journey, I can choose the timbre, and sing as baritone (I won several competitions this way) or tenor (I also won several competitions this way). The Fach system is likely what you’re thinking of when you ask for “voice type.” It is a system created in Germany used to break down all voice types into boxes, and associate theater roles with them. It is basically taking the human voice and putting it in a spreadsheet. It is also (often) a rotten guide. It’s a system of categorization made by administrators for administrators. Your voice is unique to you, and capable of so many colors and timbres and moments of beauty, that it is mind blowing.Just sharing this to say that voice type is a construct that you shouldn’t view as Gospel. The most useful metric, I think, is answering two questions: (1) where does your voice sound the best? (2) where does your voice feel free and powerful?

What Korean songs would be good to sing for my voice type and range? It's in the middle range, I think.?

I can sing most of 윤하's(YounHa's) songs, some of BoA's songs, and other songs such as 백지영's 사랑 안해, some of 천상지희's(TSZX's) songs, and lastly, most of 동방신기's(DBSK's) songs as well as other Korean ballad songs sung by guys. I think My range is middle-low to about middle-high or even high sometimes. Some guy songs I sing well are Beautiful Life and I Wanna Hold You by DBSK. For the girl versions, most of YounHa's songs are mostly in my range, like 추억은 아름다운 기억, 첫눈에, 파란빚 레몬. I think that my voice is sorta like YounHa's and BoA's. Maybe in between.

Is my vocal range rare, and what voice type am i?

I am 15, and i enjoy singing rock and metal, and have been training vocally for almost two years now. I think of myself as a solid singer, but my voice does not sound nearly as good as my favorite singers (bruce dickinson, geoff tate, freddie mercury, sebastian bach, dio, etc). However, my vocal range is G2-E5 (my head voice starts at A4), and my vocal coach tells me that it is very rare to have that range at 15, and that i can sing almost any rock song. First, is this truly a rare range to have, and if so, how difficult will it be to develop it (and possibly even slightly expand it) into a better sound? also, what voice type am i (i sang barritone for choir, but is it possible for a true barritone to hit E5 in head voice?)
