What Is My Worst Facial Feature And Why-pictures

Will my facial features change?

If people didn't notice them or make fun of you, I'm pretty sure you're just being self conscious and over analyzing things, it's probably not as big a problem as you think.

About your nose, There is a nose work out routine that turns up the tip of the nose ( which shortens it and de-emphasizes a crook ) and narrows and slims down the bottom part of it : push the tip of your nose up strong with your pointer finger, and flex the bottom part of the nose down towards the upper lip against that resistance. Finger doesn't move, just your nose. Do it 35 times, holding the contraction for one second each, then hold it for a count of ten : twice a day. Nose starts to change form after four months or so.
Also don't you ever push too hard back, it might hurt your septum ! Put your finger at the very base of the nose ( between the nostrils ) and push up.
Over time it does work ! My nose is far less bulbous now, and it reduced size very visibly, I used to be so self-conscious about it, and although make up would help under some lightings or when I wanted to take my picture, in broad daylight it just wouldn't do the trick .. now I'm just past that so I'm much better off, I really think you should try, hope that helps !

This is what the wiggling looks like :

If you don't know how to do that, look at yourself in a mirror and pucker your lips as if you wanted to give a kiss : look at your nose. It wiggles down a bit, maybe your nostrils flare too ; you need to isolate this movement from the lip movement. It's hard work but everybody eventually gets it, in the meantime you can just do the exercise by pulling your upper lip down to cover your top teeth.
Also massage your nose for about three minutes after the exercise. At first it will perhaps feel swollen but it gets good after some time. You will also start to feel your nose ( weird thing )

You're young and your face will change a bit in the next few years because you're growing up, but the essential shape of your features won't change !

I hate my nose & I just have bad facial features! How can I improve my looks this summer?-pics?

Ugh okay so i'm kinda pretty i think but i just have so so so many flaws. Most people have 2 or 3 but I have a lot and i'm not exaggerating at all when I say this because other people point them out to me and I'm just embarassed about it. ugh okay so :
i have a big nose, big ears, weird bucky teeth, an overbite [my jaw is underdeveloped so my chin is like pushed in, & i cant afford braces]. my lips and eyes are big or at least look big in pictures and it looks so weird with my nose.
^all of that is on my FACE. so practically all my insecurities are on my face :/
the only good thing is i have a nice body, i'm really thin but i've got that kinda curve haha [think annalyne mccord] but sometimes i just feel too skinny because i have tooth picks for arms and my shoulders are too boney.

i'm 16 btw and i just want to TRANSFORM next year and be gorgeous for my senior year!! i need make up tips, hairstyles & hair color anything would help !

i KNOW beauty is on the inside & its about confidence but i just think it would be NICE to look NICE haha(: i sound like those whiney teen girls but ugh i just really want to look amazing for senior year, i dont want to have to constantly worry about something as dumb as this. and i'm doing this for me not anyone else lol.

here are some pics & these pics arent that bad of me but it takes a whole lot of trys for me to get a good pic, i don't look as pretty as this all the time which is why i'm insecure:

Thanks if anyone actually got this far....

Best/worst feature + what color are my eyes?

Your eyes are hazel.

Your eyes are nice but the hair color is definitely not you.

Although, you could try changing your clothes and then post. There is just something about the clothes with the hair that doesn't work.

Why do some people look totally different in pictures than in real life?

It isn’t just in your head. When you take a selfie at arm’s-length, with a smartphone, for example, since cameras have either one lens, or several in close proximity, you end up with a slight fisheye effect. When cameras take photos, they separate the foreground, middle ground, and background very differently than two human eyes do. This exaggerates the depth difference between parts of your face, making them look disproportionate.Your nose can appear significantly larger and rounder, relative to the rest of your face, because it is perceived as the foreground, while your ears can look much smaller, as they are perceived as the background. The rest of your face tends to look slightly rounded off, more narrow, and less structured, with minor asymmetries exaggerated. The closer you are to the lens, the more distorted your face will appear, but no matter how far you are from the lens, there will always be distortion. This also is true for the rest of your body.Depending on someone’s actual features, lens distortion can work for, or against them. This is why some people look significantly more attractive, or significantly less attractive in photos. This is the real reason people say the camera adds pounds. The less structured someone looks, the more body fat are perceived to have. What is really interesting is that there is a very simple way around this distortion. Take a photo in the mirror and flip it. The distortion will be gone. This is how others see you in real life.To illustrate this, here are two photos of me taken two minutes apart in about the same spot, with the same lighting, at a similar angle, and both with the same neutral expression. One is a regular selfie, and one is a mirror selfie I flipped post factum.Regular Selfie (extremely distorted):Flipped Mirror Selfie (not distorted):

I noticed that my face is asymmetrical in pictures and it brings down my confidence when I am in public all the time. Should I trust the camera, mirror or the eyes of people on how my face looks?

Ingrid Bergman, the star of Casablanca and Notorious and one of the great beauties of the Golden Age of Hollywood, would always want to get filmed from her left side. She thought that was the better side of her face, so presumably something about her facial asymmetry bothered her.(Image from Wikimedia)And here is her right side:I don’t think any of her fans have noticed in nearly a century what that something was. She was a magnetic and dynamic actress. If your face is mobile and engaging, no one will notice that you have an asymmetrical face. And if they do, they will overlook it anyway.Canadian prime minister Jean Chretien has had a condition called Bell’s palsy since he was young, that causes his mouth to become deformed on one side when he speaks, so his face is very asymmetrical. That did not stop him from holding high elected office for over twenty years and being the head of government for ten: that is, people knew what he looked like as he appeared on television all the time — and that facial asymmetry does get used in political cartoons of him; see M2003.143.211 | Jean Chrétien parlant la bouche grande ouverte for a cartoon by Serge Chapleau — and they voted for him anyway.Focus on what you can do. But if the asymmetry is really bothering you, consider makeup to disguise it, depending on what it is.

What features will make one's face UNphotogenic?

Stop!!!! Stop taking pictures of yourself with a handheld cheap camera and then judging yourself on what you see there!

DAMN! I hate this! So many beautiful and handsome young people going through life thinking they are ugly or that their nose looks funny, or whatever ... based solely on a picture they took of themselves with a crappy camera or cellphone held at arm's length from their face, illuminated by the flash or the nasty looking fluorescent fixture in their bathroom.

I know you guys hate being told things by OLD people!

But -- PLEASE! -- just this once ... pay attention! (Think of this as being forced to be polite to your grandfather.)

Your nose looks huge and your cheekbones stick out because:

1. it's a cheap camera with a crappy plastic lens.
2. It's so close to your face that it's shooting at maximum wide angle - which ALWAYS! distorts -- making things that are closest to the lens look bulbous and grotesque!
3. If the flash goes off it's too close to your face too. Which means you have hot spots on your cheeks and forehead ... right?

And on, and on, and on ...

There are SO MANY reasons that this is the single WORST way to take a photograph.

So ... back to your original question: "What features will make one's face UNphotogenic?"

The answer: using a crappy camera and trying to do it yourself!

Unless your arm is at least six feet long and you've invested in several hundred dollars worth of lighting equipment (And, oh yeah! A real camera with a decent lens!) ... don't even think of doing that to yourself ... EVER AGAIN!

End of sermon.

Have you ever took a really embarrassing yearbook picture?

I've always avoid pictures because when I take one, I never come out looking like I really do and look really bad. My facial feature and bone structure and everything changes, drastically.

In the picture, my face looked really long and I had a yellowish tone to my skin. I don't even have a long face or yellow skin. I had big bags under my eye and they looked deep set. One eye was squinted, and the other was open really wide, like a crazy person. My neck looked like ET's and I had this dumb look on my face, like a crackhead. I had a big grin and bucked tooth beaver teeth. I'm am almost positive I didn't have that expression on my face and I can't even get my mouth to bend that way. I didn't even smile for it It was weird. I had this static electricity thing going on and my hair looked matted at the top, like a rat's nest was sitting on the top. It kind of blended in with the background to give a rats nest effect. It was just hideous and looked nothing like me.

People started coming up to me and laughing and pointing at it. It was embarrassing. One of the worst ones I have ever taken. Most people didn't like their picture, but theirs actually looked like them. Mines was hideous and looked nothing like me.

Anyone else ever taken a really embarrassing yearbook picture/school photo?
