What Is One Thing You Would Like To Change About Your Life If You Could

What is one thing you would change in your life if you could travel back in time?

I would just like to go eight years back and choose B.Sc(CS) over a costly Engineering course, as engg is not for me.I would like to go back, stop myself attending that interview for BDM role of a fraud company, which ruined my brain and thoughts for around six months.I would go back, stop me going to that trip with my friends, where we’ve already been thrice. Instead I would choose to buy some books or a trip with my family.I would go back 15 years prior now and tell that young researcher (me) that playing with cracker’s flash powder is going to burn your right leg and ruin your peace and happiness for the next six months.I would go back and punch him (me) and say that the whole Rs.10,000 which you are planning to trade with is gonna get blown away due to overtrade, as you haven’t learned the fundamentals of stock market yet.I would go back to the last day of my 12th board exam, where me and my crush were starring at each other silently. I would propose her directly by shattering away all my fears and shyness.I would go back to a year ago, snatch my sister’s mobile from her, flush it in the toilet. She was following some skin brightening tip videos on You Tube, by which she got a weird skin disease called Vitiligo, thats gonna take years to get cured.I would go back to a couple of years ago, not to say that ‘hi’ back to that one friend, who is going to be a bad example of friendship in the near future.I will go back to the last day of work at my previous office. Instead of crying and leaving with pain; I would invite my employer and some colleagues for a cup of coffee at CCD and honour them all with a big high five on their beautiful face with a steel chair.I would go back to that day, where I was scolding my mom in frustration, as she has forgotten something. I never let that incident to happen. As we are human beings, it’s okay to make mistakes and learn to never repeat them again. Thanks for the scrolls! :)

IF you could change one thing in your life?

Nothing I am happy of what I have*

What is that one thing that can change my life for better?

Spending less time with people you dislike and more time with people you like.Stop worrying too much. If you have committed a mistake, let it be, and let it go.Do at least one thing that you have always, always, and always wanted to do.Stop caring about what people think of you.Be yourself.Stop comparing yourself with other people.Accept that no one can ever be the No. 1 in any field, but don't be stupid enough to get yourself down to No. 2. What that means is, give your best in whatever you do, but if someone gets ahead of you, then accept the fact that that doesn't mean that you are shit. You too are something. It's just that the guy who got ahead of you is something more. And there will always be someone lurking around the corner who is something even more. No one can be No. 1.Stop judging people based on whether or not they indulge in drinking, smoking and substance abuse. And finally, remember that life has been given to you in order for you to live it. Living means doing what you want to do. If you spend all your life doing something that you didn't want to do, you are going to regret it terribly in your last moments. And regretting your life in your last moments kind of defeats the entire purpose of life, doesn't it? You might not be able to follow your life's dreams right now, due to duties and responsibilities, but someday you'll get some time. Do stuff then. Whatever you do, just ensure that you never feel that "My life sucks!".And that's it. :)

If you could change one thing about your family, what would you change? Why?

I want a big brother. So he could've been there to protect me when I needed it.

If you could change one thing in your life from the past 5 years, what would it be? Why?

If you could change one thing in your life from the past 5 years, what would it be? Why?Recovering from a major stroke, which took place about ten years ago, I was almost daily on the internet! That was a bit much!Yes, I wrote multiple books and articles—even helped my daughter with her homework—but the internet use was too much!

If you could ask God to change or reverse one thing in your life, what would it be?

Hello,Asking God to reverse anything or everything is only an imagination that we would want to live with. If not this, then what? If not the way, then how? If it wasn’t like that, then what it would have been now?We just want to put ourselves into something of a pleasant and comfortable situation, for all that happened earlier and made our lives miserable. For, we would only want to know, how good things would have been now,if otherwise. So, in my own life, If I only had the privilege to ask God for something to reverse, then, I would ask him to bring back my father. I lost my father when I was just 11 and he was 42. He left us hurriedly without even an indication of his sickness. He left behind 2 children with a young wife of 36. If it wasn’t that fateful day that arrived in our lives, today the life would have been a more happy and pleasant one hopefully. He would have gracefully aged with gray hair. But then, this is how life is. Been there, done that. Accepted the truth and still thankful to God for every other blessing that he showered upon us. In the corner of my heart, I still wish my Daddy was still around.Regards,Vj

If you can go back in your past and change one thing what would it be and why?

i wouldnt change a thing. yes life gives me a truckloads of trials that sometimes comes one after the other, but i wouldn't be who i am nor who i will be in the future without them... i just learned to think positive about everything and i'm ok.

Everything Happens for a Reason (by an unknown poet)
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there...
.....to serve some sort of purpose
.....to teach a lesson,
....or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be...a roommate, friend, neighbour, professor, child, teacher or even a complete stranger, but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful and unfair at first, but in reflection, you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would not have realized your strength, potential, willpower or heart.
Nothing happens by chance or means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, flat road to nowhere...safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

People who you meet and who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. The bad experiences are the most valuable because it is often from them that we learn the most. Hurt, betrayal, loss, sadness...these are the great builders of character. Only those who have hurt and lost or have been sad and disappointment know how to truly comfort and forgive another in the same circumstances. Consider yourself blessed!

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it whatever you can...it may not come your way again. You may not have the chance to share, talk, listen, dream, love, teach, or enjoy that moment again.

Believe in yourself and hold your head up.
Create your own life and live it with no regrets.
Learn a new lesson every day.
Tell someone you love them.
Live with no regrets.

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Was it worth it?
