Yahoo answers deleted my question?
Why did you feel the need not to include all the relevant details? How many answers did you get? Were those answers helpful, or did you only get SPAM answers advertising scholarship sites? Are you familiar with the community guidelines, in that there are MULTIPLE different reasons why a question can be deleted, and only one of those reasons has anything to do with being "inappropriate"? Here is an analogy. You should understand it. If I say I cannot write... what is the reason why? Can you determine the EXACT reason why I cannot write, from that statement? It might be that I don't have something to write with.... or that I don't have something to write on... or that I don't have any hands... or that I am blind... or that I can only print... or that my hands are busy doing other things... or it might be something else... but you cannot determine which of those reasons is THE reason why, from my initial statement of "I cannot write" can you? We have not seen the exact question as it was posted. For all we know, someone posted a stupid answer, and you edited the question to reply to them, and your question was flagged for a chat violation. Or, you might not have gotten any answers, and your question was removed automatically because it didn't have any answers... or you only got spam answers, and they were removed, and then your question had no answers... or you swore in the question like you did here, making it a violation for offensive content... or who knows. You did not supply all the details. I get it. You are upset. You want to vent. You want to let loose how upset you are with Yahoo Answers, and you want to get it off your chest. Unfortunately, that is ranting. That's a violation. Since you are capable of posting a violation without KNOWING you are doing it, we now have NO idea why your other question was deleted... since you cannot claim to never post violations. You cannot claim this, because you have done it twice in this question... once in posting a rant, and once in swearing. This question would not be a rant if you had supplied all the relevant details so you could actually get a definitive answer. end of line
Why does Quora constantly delete my answers without even telling me?
I read through your comments, and the ones that aren’t deleted are often about how you think men are treated very unfairly compared to women. If the deleted ones are anything like these (or worse):“Too many women look at their husbands as Mommy’s assistant.”“And once again my comments disappear, they really need some male moderators on quora”“Amazing how the female police will show up with every story,”“See how women are so quick to blame the older guy”“There are no real studies because women don’t want the facts on this”“women don’t want to hear when men feel violated and demeaned”“And women have been manipulating men for millennia. Stealing their names and their fortunes. And the double standard is not falling, women are walking away scot free and are not being prosecuted”“give a woman five minutes privately and she will tell you how big her new boyfriend is or isn’t”..then I can understand why they were deleted. You seem to have very little respect for women in general. To be honest, the things you write are filled with generalisations.Quora is generally not a big fan of abusers claiming to be victims.
Was my answer really in violation of community guidelines etc?
I responded to the following question: "Christians..will you ever agree on this and provide a coherent answer?" Question Details: "Whenever I point out God's cruelty and murderous acts, or countless absurdities like stoning adulteresses or condoning slavery in the Old Testament, many of you tell me that "Jesus came to change all that" or that "That was the Old Law; it's different know".... But when topics such as abortions or graven images arise, many of you blow the dust off your "invalidated old law" Old Testament books and start chanting the Ten Commandments.... So then, what exactly is NO LONGER APPLICABLE from the OT and what IS?? Is this some sort of cherry-picking or what?" My reply was: "Are you really attempting to get coherence out of bible bashers? Good luck!" For this, I got: "You have posted content to Yahoo! Answers in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. As a result, your content has been deleted. " Is there any way this could be reasonable?
How do I deal with someone close to me blocking me on WhatsApp and Facebook?
Blocking people on social media is a very rude treatment which can not be tolerated. It is VERY HOSTILE. Without internet and social media, this could be referred to as the boycott or total rejection. I feel very sorry for you and your friend is definitely very rude. It's like showing a middle finger to the person offline and rejecting him further. Also, blocking people can be a big emotional abuse, therefore it can lead the one being blocked to depression or other mental diseases.But what I can tell you is: NEVER listen to people who tell you to "move on with your life" etc, if you are trying to reconcile. IGNORE all the people who think that you deserved to be blocked. Block him (and them?) as well, and try to defend yourself as much as you can. Talk to other people (including friends) about what happened, but never discuss it right after you met, since they might be perceiving you as like you're complaining. If he will suddenly unblock you, write to him about what happened, and explain him how you feeled, and block again. Once he will complain to others about being blocked, unblock him. Moving on with your life, if it comes to relationship solving, is impractical and can only divert than relieve you. And people don't have any justifications for their reasons, since they came up with them themselves.Next time, let the people be nice to each another, and not block anyone!!!
Jehovah's Witnesses: Why does the term "governing body" not appear in the Bible?
For the same reason the term "Paradise Earth" does not appear in the Bible - it's a man-made construct. The name Byblos is Greek; papyrus received its early Greek name (byblos, byblinos) from its being exported to the Aegean through Byblos. Hence the English word Bible is derived from byblos as "the (papyrus) book. That's why the English word Bible does not appear in any Greek manuscripts. However, the Greek equivalent for "governing body" is not to be found in any of the Greek manuscripts that make up the New Testament. And I am unaware of any Hebrew equivalent for "governing body" within the Old Testament. P.S. The word "Paradise" as used by Jesus (in Luke 16:19-31) regarding the place Lazarus went to after he died means "Abraham's Bosom" and is an interim place where those who are saved await the resurrection on the final day of judgment. The same Greek word for "paradise" as used by Jesus to the thief on the cross also means "Abraham's Bosom" and is not a reference to Earth (Luke 23:43).
Vegans & vegetarians, do your answers and questions always get reported?
Oh, I'm glad you posted this question. For the longest time I was never reported. But then a few weeks ago i started getting reported. I didn't keep track of the frequency but it seemed like it was increasing each week. And pretty much for no reason at all. I started making sure my answers were more carefully written, but it didn't seem to make much difference. Lately its been like almost every day. and everyone of my appeals were granted. As you can tell from the answers in this section there are people who just seem to be anti-vegan. Maybe some of them have our best interests at heart. That they think we need to "fixed". or maybe some of them really believe all the stuff the propaganda that Food, Inc. puts out. It really bothers me that people with legitimate vegan and vegetarian questions are provided with answers that are so anti-vegan. So maybe it bothers them when real vegans give them vegan slanted answers. Could this be why we are being reported? Some of the non-vegan people who reguarly submit answers are maybe not sympathetic, but at least they are well informed. but others... well, if you are not a vegan and not informed, then why would you even be looking at questions in this section.
