How is it possible that I am getting text messages from a porn app that I have never even heard of?
I used to have snapchat but I never really used it and I thought it was kind of pointless so I uninstalled it. That was MONTHS ago. I was lying in bed the other night watching tv and I got a text from this thing called Snapsext, which is apparently made by the same people. It was telling me that someone that I'm supposedly friends with on there has updated their profile information. I was like wtf. I have never heard of this app, let alone signed up for it. I clicked on the link and it was pictures of naked girls prompting me to answer a series of questions. I replied "stop" to stop further messages so hopefully I don't get any more, but I'm just wondering how the f*** these people have my number. Did Snapchat sell my information to them? Is that legal?

My boyfriend and I have been having a lot of issues lately, and I know that going through his phone is a huge way to break trust. I have seen messages from one of his past flings. He says its nothing, but I know how this girl is and I just need to know if he is cheating on me. Sprint Family Locator Text Message Question?
I get these random text messages to my cellphone that says 9489 SFL: you can be located by the following numbers: 732- blah blah blah. I happen to know my Boyfriend has a family plan and has us all GPS'd, but shouldn't this remain a secret to his daughter, etc? I think these texts kinda spill the beans. Does Sprint require to send these texts by the law that the people under the plan are being GPS'd by Daddy?

A hacker?If it's a person near you who can have access to your actual device you're better off either putting an end to texting all together or deleting your message trail because they are intercepting your messages by actually reading them from your device. If you're talking about a hacker then you need to invest in an encrypted messaging apps such as Signal which adds a layer of security to the already great iOS security. Lastly - a social solution to both would be to have a second phone that isn't registered to you and that you don't always have on your person. They can't intercept that which they don't know that you have. PS: Don't be so paranoid...generally speaking your text messaging only matter to you.
