What Is Something Creative I Can Make Out Of An Old Bait Bucket

How can one turn short and boring sentences into creative ones?

Think out of the box. While fishing is such a delightful past time to those who enjoy the hobby, the mere mention of the word for many can be quite boring. But turn it into something the reader will never expect.  Something like:"Nothing beats the fun out of fishing for idiots who can't find their car in the parking lot."or"I get my kick watching the CCTV and fishing for unwary shoplifters in the toy section."Indeed, fishing is not just for fish.  But if you really mean the sport, then you can be more specific, more sensual (ambient, picturesque, visual), and be more creative in expressing what you like.  You see the word "like" is quite weak and trite. Be more passionate. Just a little. Something like:"I just can't get enough fishing for  rainbow trout on Big Bear Lake in the summer."   or"That very moment I caught a rainbow trout with my new fishing rod was just priceless." The sentences create better imagery. Without saying it,  they establish what you like without a doubt. If you're not really writing from experience, just be sure there are indeed rainbow trouts in Big Bear Lake during the summer.  (Of course, there are.)

Reptiles: How do you find a lost snake in your home?

Young snakes, and other small snakes, can be nearly impossible to locate in a home.  In my experience I've found them coiled up resting days later, more or less at random.  However, consider looking near any warmer area of the home.  Focus on rooms near the point of escape. Try looking at night with a flashlight to catch the snake on the move out in the open. To do this you have to surprise the snake because if it senses movement it won't usually come out of hiding. You could try spreading flour around the floor to look for snake trails in the morning, but would most likely get discouraged if this didn't work the first couple of nights.  Don't give up, snakes turn up days or weeks later.  Keep cats away from the area.  Do not put out tape strips, to try and trap the snake, because you'll end up pulling scales and skin off the snake, and it will get tangled up in the tape by the time you have reached it.Look in anything close to the ground, I found an escaped baby amazon tree boa in a pile of wood, coiled up a couple inches from the ground. Even if you have a tree snake that has escaped, look in boxes and furniture close to the ground.  Be very careful when searching, the snake could be under the drawer of a dresser and might get crushed while searching for it.Try to clear the room of clutter, by making sure that the snake isn't inside an object, then moving it to an area outside of the search-zone.  Alternatively, when you have made sure stuff like small boxes and clothes aren't harboring the snake, put them in a trash bag and tie it off - double check everything before you put it in the bag or move it to a different area.  As the room becomes cleared, the chances of finding the snake improve drastically, plus chances are the snake is moving around, so now you don't have to check everything over and over again each new day.Snakes, even large ones, have an unbelievable ability to hide in small spaces, often when you find an escaped snake you will feel lucky to have found it, it will be in an odd spot, and you will have come across it by chance, so don't give up.

How should I confront my 16-year-old son since I found semen-stained tissues in his trash can?

I have a different perspective to offer. If it were my son, I would do the following.1- Accept the fact that my son is now a young man and he will continue this behaviour until he expires. As a mom, I guess it must be a weird feeling to see your son is no longer a little boy but a full blooded young man.2- Do not address the issue of sperm in the Kleenex.  ( Honestly, it is better there than  having those suckers trying to fertilize an egg right ? )3- HAVE THAT SEX TALK. Seriously, yourself or your husband or someone he trusts.Talk to him about safe sex and condoms and all the messy details of the whole act of sex. I realize it is awkward but prevention is worth a pound of cure. Please note, I do not have children but as a high school teacher, I have seen unwanted pregnancies, abortions and those that chose to keep the baby. Believe it or not: A 16 to 18 year old male had something to do with this situation. I cannot stress enough the fact that you need to find a way in a moment of total trust to let him know the importance of taking precautions and not get a girl pregnant until he actually wants to have a child. This issue has changed the paths of so many promising lives of young men and women. Honestly, there is no reason for it. We need to make sure they have the tools to try to at least prevent unwanted pregnancies. Face it, whether you like it or not, he will have sex at some point in the near future. I mean, we were all teenagers at some point in our lives right ? You might have wished to have someone educate you about this chapter in your own life. Why would you not want this for your own son?

Why is the Indian youth mostly found blaming others on social media?

It is not uncommon for the young generation to get angry with their country and blame everyone except themselves for the problems they are facing.  It is so easy to blame and to criticize others. You always get ready support from others who too are failing to achieve their wishes.Let everyone understand that there are always more people who fail than those who succeed in achieving their goals. Hence you always get popular support when you criticize because failed and frustrated people are always in vast majority. For example, in Civil Services or in IIT, IIM etc, only 1% succeed and remaining 99% fail. Those who fail want some reason to justify their failure and look for some people who can be blamed for their failures. They start with their parents, teachers and then gradually spread the ambit of criticism to leaders, corruption, bureaucrats, society etc. This process continues till they cover everyone in the ambit. The more they blame, the more they get frustrated, because any amount of blaming can’t make them successful. The greatest danger of blaming others is that if you keep on blaming others for ‘your failures’, you actually start believing that others are really responsible for your failure. The next logical step of the ‘blame game’ is to take revenge from those who are blamed. This can come by expressing your frustration on social media, with your friends and then before everyone else. If you can’t stop yourself now, you may try to physically hurt people and even try to kill them.  The youngsters of India must understand that the conditions of India are today much better than ever before.  The job opportunities have gone up 20-30 times in last 20-30 years. The educational opportunities have gone up in the same proportion. If you are sincere and hard-working, you will always find a good job waiting for you. If you wish to open your own business, today is the best time to do so. Even if you don’t get what you dream, you are still much better than what your parents or grandparent even had. You gain nothing by criticizing others. The only way to lift your spirit and yourself is to learn seeing the positive side of life and people. You must learn to appreciate good things of life rather than wasting your energy on the bad things in the world.  Stop blaming others for your failures because that will help neither you nor the person whom you are blaming.

Why would someone leave a dead fish on a doorstep?

This reminds me of a question my daughter had to answer when applying for a creative writing program: “Name all the things a brick could be used for. You have three minutes. Go!”In that vein:Someone at the address ordered a fish dinner from a market that delivers. It is an homage to the horse’s head in the bed (Godfather) - a threat by an organized crime don to a professional angler or aquarist. The Hound’s brother (Game of Thrones) just sacked the Riverlands again. The cat at that address killed a fish in a nearby fishpond and left it on the doorstep as a present. The homeowners are warding off evil spirits (a nod to garlic/vampire mythos).Poseiden has found Odysseus living undercover in suburbia, and is still ticked off at him over that Cyclops incident. The homeowner bought a goldfish but had a heart attack on the doorstep, dropped the bag with the fish, and crawled inside to call 911 before dying. The EMT’s tried to save the human but failed to notice the fishie. It’s a beach house and the fish was washed up during a storm. It’s a fisherman’s house and he left his fresh-caught dinner outside in a bucket while he puts away his equipment. It’s a fraternity house, so really it could be anything. Better not ask.Bing! 3 minutes are up.

Summer camp prank ideas?

Ok, so I'm headed to a Christian summer camp in California tomorrow with my youth group. On each trip that we go on, the guys always play small, innocent pranks on each other.... it's just a tradition that adds another element of fun to an already awesome week. So I was hoping that some of you could help me think of some things to do to my friends... maybe while they're asleep, while they're out of the room... anything. Something creative and fast?
