What Is Something That You Think Is Very Scary

What is something that the more you think about, the more it scares you?

The answer to that question is definitely WW3.It began when I was just scrolling through Quora, and somebody asked a question about somebody in history who nobody listened to, and turned out to be right. One of the answers given was about a Swedish man called Anton Johannson (I think that’s correct), and how he was apparently gifted with the ability of ‘sight’. He is said to have predicted many details of the first and second world war before they began, as well as several other events such as Titanic etc.He also predicted many details about WW3. The thing that is so scary however, is how he predicted future weapons (like nuclear, and a few other things) in such detail, especially when he died before WW2. He said (and there are also many other seer’s who have predicted similar things, dating all the way back from the 1400’s until the 90’s+) that there would be three great wars. The first would be bad, the second worse, but the third would be the war to end all wars. The end of the world as we know it. Very few will survive, and countries like the USA and mainland Europe would suffer very greatly. He described weapons and fires never seen before by man, and that more people would die in one day than in all the other wars. The threat is meant to be a war between Russia and the USA/EuropeHe predicted many other things I cannot remember, and so did many others, all who would have had no knowledge of each other. It is truly a very scary account, and the more I think about it, the more it scares me.

Do you find something about interacting with society very scary?

No. Society consists of people and you and I are people and therefore part of society. There are probably other (let is just say) shy people out there who experience the same thing or something similar to what you do. In fact, I used to be very shy but made a deliberate effort to interact with others regularly until I got good at it and comfortable with the process.Where my wife and I live now is near a University and many of the residents are from other countries and not socially sure of themselves and, having experienced that myself, (I immigrated here may years ago) I make an effort to chat with them and make them feel more at home here.

What is so scary about thinking? Why don't people think more?

Everything. Everything is scary about “thinking.”I am not a violent person, but if I stop and “think” I can conjure up horrid things in my head.I am not an infidelitous person, but if I stop and “think” I can conjure up all sorts of ways to cheat, and types of women to cheat with.I am not a criminal, but if I stop and “think” I can conjure up all sorts of ways to rob, steal, loot, embezzle, or just simply break the law.So I don’t “think more.” And that may be why others don’t “think more.” They may be afraid of what their mind comes up with.

How to stop thinking of scary things before bed?

I went to a party yesterday and we watched a horror movie. i usually wouldnt watch scary movies just whenever, but with friends and stuff i wouldnt mind. when i watch scary movies im fine. i scream and stuff when scary things pop outta nowhere cause that's the fun of scary movies, right? after the movie im not like paranoid or anything.
but when night hits it's a whole different story. last night i went to bed at 1 and didnt fall asleep until 5;30. i slept with my parents and brother with a night light on LOLOLOL STFU! but yeah i was still freaked out. every 5 seconds i would think of scary images from the movie. i didnt want to close my eyes because i was scared that i would see the images when i closed my eyes. im not scared that like something from the movie will happen to me before i sleep. like im not scared that a demon then from the movie will pop out of no where. it's more im scared that DREAM about the scary stuff.

please be serious. dont tell me to toughen up and stop being a pussssssy or whatever. watching happy stuff before i got to bed doesnt help me because after the scary movie we watched a sad one lol. and dont tell me to stop watching scary movies because i seldom do and after a few days it doesnt bother me anymore.

i just need something to help me for a few days.

thanksss! =)

What is something that terrifies most people but isn’t really scary at all?

In the abstract, death. What I believe scares people the most about death is that there’s no familiarity to it, while one can say….life just isn’t, we are all geared to expect ‘something;’ whether we want it or not. Rather like finding a rattlesnake caught up in the fan belt on your car. Like it or not, we know what it is and have some wandering idea as to what to do about it. Death has no options that allow any sort of arrangements that carry over from here to there. And, yes, I AM considering various religious aspects of death but, again, whatever they claim for the hereafter-and their versions of the ‘hereafters’ vary mightily, not one of them can redefine death as anything more than the cessation of life. We cannot understand existence without life but then death cancels your existence policy, no more picnics, no more quiet nights, no more traffic noises, for all that I’ve read about death, I still come away thinking death is the completion of life. Period. That said, I’ll tell you what gives me the creeps, the heeby jeebies, the shudders and those are several words in my insurance policy that deals with my being, big gulp, maimed and then proceeds to explain degrees of maiming and what they’ll pay me in the event one, or several, of those should befall me. As best I see it, I cash in the most IF I’m blinded in both eyes (substantially less if it’s only one) lose a leg at the hip, and, while we’re in that area both testicles BUT only if I’m under the age of 43-apparently my carrier has figured out (there’s some research that would make for interesting reading and possibly a best seller) that at 43 my fertility has ceased, one of my purposes as a male is gone. Oh and there’s more about my nose, fingers, but that tends to be small stuff. I just don’t want to be maimed, regardless of the payout and, if I should be in the max payout category-all those things I’d lose-I think I’ll take death; One thing, nobody ever said that in death you can’t take you with you,.,,,(Yeah, it’s that testicle thing)

Do you think Osama Bin Laden is scary?

Seriously with all of his pictures and videos with his long beard and creepy look to him I would scream if I was lost in the woods in the dark in a thunderstorm and the lightening strikes and all you can see is his face and his long beard staring right at you.And what even scares me more is when I see a comparison to him looking younger and two months later he has a white beard. I also heard he is 7 feet tall. DO you think he is scary.

What do you think about SB 777?

This is a bill that says that school kids will no longer go by the sex they were born with but instead with their "gender identity." This is a very scary thing for America's children and I think parents need to step up to the plate. This bill says that if a school boy feels like a girl on the inside he will be able to go into the girls bathrooms and locker rooms freely. This is going to cause a lot of rapes and other sexual assaults. Boys will now have the freedom to come and go in the locker rooms of the girls for their own sexual pleasure. Don't you know how uncomfortable that is for the girls? Parents should be teaching their kids that if the boy has a penis, he is a boy. And if a girl has a vagina, she is a girl. Children who have a penis and think they are girls need serious help. The gay and lesbian alliance has pushed this for months and now it's happened. Gender Identity is a DISORDER and we shouldn't be embrassing it. If a child has it he or she needs phsyciatric help.

Why is death so scary for some people?

The unknown is frightening to most of us. It's not like cliff diving, bungee jumping or swimming with sharks — death is something none of us has experienced, we can't ask anyone about it, we don't know how it's going to happen or if it's going to hurt. We don't know if it's just eternal nothingness or if we close our eyes here and open them somewhere…else.I have strong religious beliefs and death isn't scary to me but I hate to think of leaving my loved ones to grieve. My faith is strong enough that I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing God when I die, and I believe I've been doing as He commanded. I could be wrong, and we all take that chance; but my beliefs comfort me.I'm in constant, severe pain so I don't know how much dying can hurt. It may be easier for me than some, but I've lived a lot. Many aren't ready to go so they want to fight for life. It must be awful to think you're losing your grasp on the most precious thing you've ever had when you still have too much left unsaid or undone. The best way to face death without fear is to live every day as fully as you can. Tell people you love them every time you say goodbye. Make the most of what you have and don't waste your time watching TV or playing games when you can be with loved ones making memories. You can be on your phone all the time when you're old and bedridden, like me.
