What TV shows are similar to Homeland?

I have watched the whole list of series mentioned below but the most closest/similar series i have found like Homeland is Tyrant. Amazing plot/story line, great actors, best part is creators of Homeland have created this one also.A MUST WATCH.

What is the theme of the FX series "Tyrant"?

Personal opinion: The series doesn't seem to know where it is going. It alternates between a revealing behind scenes look at an autocracy and a drama about a highly dysfunctional family. It needs to decide which it is going to be.The pilot was exceptional and it appeared that the series would be same. However, now the show is devolving into almost nonstop dialogue about how the primary characters feel about the situations that surround them. Since most of those reflected upon situations are people standing around talking or yelling, the dialogue seems to largely consist of introspection about...the dialogue. Not a promising start. While the show can be applauded for not rendering Arab characters into cartoonish villains, it the hamstrings that positive by not choosing an actual Arab for the leading role. It also avoids Islam and Arab nationalism, two strong themes that are at the core of people's identity in SW Asia. The show seems to not want to offend Muslims in general and Arabs specifically, so it appears to be pulling its punches. Unfortunately, that makes series rather dull and ponderous and that’s never a good thing.I don't see this program lasting more than a single season.

Why did the founding fathers write the 2nd Amendment?

Was it to protect the rights of sportsman? Or was it to ensure that citizens could protect themselves from tyranny within their own government? And before you answer, here's what Thomas Jefferson had to say about it:

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
- Thomas Jefferson, in an early draft of the Virginia constitution

As a designer, which is the most disturbing department in a company you have ever seen?

I haven’t gotten a taste of a disturbing or odd departments within the companies I’ve worked for. However, I’ve once encountered a really weird ‘department’ in one of the client’s office when freelancing.A little bit of background: when I started as a UI designer I used to travel a bit and occasionally visit client offices. Primarily, for short briefings, UI delivery meetings and catchups with marketing/developers.One of the clients (won’t name them or their product line as it’s irrelevant) was a relatively small 50–100 people workforce. They had every essential department imaginable… IT, support, marketing, product analysis, BD, sales etc. You get the drill. Now these guys had everything in order and what could be considered as typical business environment: plenty of space, engaging teams etc. Apart from one thing. Most of the office was open plan with all the meeting and management rooms separated by frosted glass walls. Yet there was one tiny box/room that had solid walls. The server room.I saw a guy walk in and out all the time. After a few questions it was clear that the room was used by the Backend/Server systems manager. While the rest of the IT were seating the back of the office, this person was placed in a server room. And if you know of server rooms these are usually small, dark and very hot thus heavily AC’d places. If you are up to date with the sitcoms, and TV office satire, the office was a mix between: 1) The office space stapler guy desk in the dark basement and 2) Ryan’s ‘office’ seat in the janitor’s closet in The Office series.I found it humours, but also crazy. Because the person would emerge from this 12 foot by 6 foot room, which had half of it stacked with server tech and the rest was only enough place for a half of a normal desk and a chair. And nothing else! The lights across the office were motion triggered, so through a tiny window in the door you could see it going out. The poor manager had to work in the dark or constantly trigger it to come on. Needless to say it would only turn on when he would go in and out.I didn’t get it back then, but in retrospect I see how ridiculous the situation was for that ‘department’ and why the manager was running in and out all the time. Especially when it wasn’t a temporary office space either.

Which TV series is as good as Prison Break?

Prison Break is one of the best series I have ever seen and my first too. The best thing about it is, it has one continues story line and they kept it far from getting slow or boring. There are a few which have a central plot and the each episode has its own plot that you might enjoy, likeMentalist CastleCriminal MindsCriminal Minds is as close to reality as it gets so definitely a must watch. Mentalist on the other hand is based on deduction and mind games. Then there are a few that are mainly based on central plot likeBreaking badDexter24Walking DeadLostHomelandBreaking bad, although slow, is a definite must watch. I was personally disappointed with the ending of Lost. 24 is as fast and exiting as it can get coz you literally can not afford to blink. It also has one of the best character development that I have ever seen. Homeland is something different and unique. There are a few which are in between i.e. they give equal importance to the main plot and the episode story but very few were able to keep the balance right. I personally liked Person of Interest and it is certainly one of my favorites and the best thing about it is, it has so many lose ends that can start a complete new story-line and still they have kept it neat till now.

What is Xena: Warrior Princess?

A spin-off show from Hercules. About a young woman warrior who was banished from her village. Along the way, she picks up a sidekick - another young woman, Gabrielle - to go through all sorts of adventures. The shows were to be situated in ancient Greece.
Both programmes were filmed in New Zealand. Xena is played by the Kiwi actress Lucy Lawless (who dyed her naturally blonde hair dark brown, because Lucy felt that her character was a dark and mystical sort).
