What Is The App That People Use To Make Their Skin Look Perfectly Clear And Smooth In Pictures

How to get clear skin like celebrities?

I really don't like my skin. I have tons of blackheads on my nose and a few on my forehead, and I have about one or two pimples. I know that I'm not supposed to squeeze my pimples and blackheads, but I do because they annoy me so much. What's a good face cleanser and moisturiser thats less than $20, oh, and I'm from Australia so I can't get anything thats American only or from England or something like that.

Thanks!

How come many people had clear skin on their face on old photos from 19th century?

Interesting question. They often do have a rather porcelain look to them, don’t they?Good portrait photographers were skilled at making their subjects look good.Circa 1873-1890. "Unidentified woman with bonnet."Just guesses…Makeup was applied by portrait photographer?Film emulsion didn’t register color variations accurately?Ugly people didn’t bother to get photographs?Photographers tended to choose beautiful people so their work would look better?I also like the previous suggestion that wearing protective hats was more common back then. However, Not everyone looked great in the good ol’ days. (Child coal miners, 1911)I bet no one would have been rushing to photograph Lincoln if he hadn’t been President.

What is your secret to glowing skin?

Believe it or not, when I was young I had this policy: “utility is more important than beauty”. But as I grew up and entered into high school, facing harsh realities of this world, I learned “both beauty and utility are of equal importance!”.So I started working on my skin…I used to look like thisPs: sorry the picture isn't clear…but I had one picture of me from that time period. So, back to the point…I started to follow a regular schedule/habit for my skin:Indeed, as said “drinking water regularly”Washing my face 3–4 times a day (can vary depending on skin type, I had oily, hence 3 to 4)Using the correct product to wash my skin. Since I had both oily _and_ dark skin. I went for something which had a minute quantity of tea tree oil in it. ( It will give you both glowing skin and also control the oil)Applied various home made facepacks to see which suited my skin the best and then continued to use them. (you can browse for them on the internet easily, though the ones containing gram flour are the best, in my opinion).Sleep is must for beautiful skin, 7–8 hours a day keeps blemishes, wrinkles and other skin problems awayLemon-yes, Lemon. The actual secret of my glowing skin is lemon (& that tea tree product, too). It just cuts the oil off my skin and de-toxifies it. I just can't stop praising it.Healthy food. One really needs to work on one's diet to have good skin. Food which compliments your skin is a must. (References to sources supporting this claim, and your other claims, are advised, per Quora's policy).Patience. I really had to have patience. You may not find any changes in one day or one week…. But if you keep trying…then surely you’ll get the skin that you want one day :)Makeup. I don't recommend makeup much. I do makeup only on special occasions. For everyday basis, I just apply a moisturizer which also acts as sunscreen, kajal (so that I don't look groggy) and a lip balm.Result:This is my present skin condition.PS: Just woke up (has been nearly hour or so) and took this picture for this answer.Edit: For pessimists, I used Redmi 3S. And for the girls or ladies out there, who think why my kajal isn't messed up, I used Colossal brand, which advertises minimum 16-hour retention. I applied it at night and clicked this pic the next morning, so there is less chance of smudging. Even if it does smudge little, I do have two working hands, which I can use to remove the excess kajal around my eyes. :p

Does rubbing dead skin cause scars?

Does rubbing off the dead skin on my face cause scars? If I don't my nose gets flakey and around my chin I get little skin dots that rub off too. Or could just be picked off with a tweezer. My nose seems fine but it looks like my chin area is getting mini trenches it almost looks like wrinkles in a way. I'm only 18 so I think it might be from rubbing. Is it? Or does rubbing cause nothing?

How do actors keep their skin clear?

Thank you for the A2A. Actors have very clear to normal skin as we all have. But, it is the lighting, camera, photography and software that make them look so on the screen. Remember screen beauty is not the real beauty. As we all know beauty is skin deep, not on the surface. They have the talent of acting, clear skin is not a talent. I have hear one actor saying, anyone who can lie can be an actor. Whatever act they are in is basically a lie that look like a real thing happening. For clear skin, we need a little acidic stuff. Our bodies are healthy with alkaline food and our skin and hair prefer acidic content. We need to get rid of acne, pimples, scars, blemishes, avoiding exposure to UV and extreme cold, removing dead skin, proper hydration, avoiding excessive oiliness and dryness and above all avoiding all sort of chemicals which are composition of our daily soap, lotions and creams.Homeopathic remedies like Natrum Mure are very effective in naturally reducing oil and related acne. Petroleum is effective for dry skin. Exercise is always good for removing toxins through skin.Alpha Hydroxy Acids such as glycolic acid, lactic acid help in skin whitening. Oral supplementation with vitamin E, Feulic Aci, Ellagic Acid and Pomegrante may also be helpful.Benzoyl peroxide topical applications are good for acne, but it does not stop the oil production by sebaceous glands, but good so long you apply it.Topical application of azelaic acid makes the skin lighter by reducing melanin production by inhibiting an enzyme called tyrosinase that causes melanin production.Other things are licorice root extract and kojic acid.Salicylic acid and retinol are good for skin exfoliation.HQ is a skin bleaching agent.L-Glutathione is very effective for skin whitening and minor skin imperfections. There are tons of such products that are available for clear skin.Hope this helps!

Does makeup foundation give the illusion that you have clear skin?

Yes and no. Foundation can cover redness but it cannot cover texture. Makeup can only do so much without proper skin care/skin prep. There are some foundations with ingredients (such as silicon) that have a smoothinng effect on the skin but like a said before, these types of foundations can only do so much. If you have redness, sun spots and/or discolouration it will cover that. So it will help in that regard. However, If your skin is rough/dry or has raised texture it will show through the foundation. Think of your face like a canvas. If you have a smooth canvas the paint you apply over top will look smooth and flat. But if you have a a canvas that is bumpy and raised, regardless of your painting technique you will still be able to see that your canvas wasn’t smooth underneath. I’ve seen some photos online of girls who have acne and then cover their skin with foundation and make it look like their skin is perfectly clear (I’m sure you’ve all seen the before and afters). But the truth is, without proper lighting, filters on the camera and editing, in real life up close you would still be able to see it. So basically, if you want your foundation to look nice, you need to have healthy looking skin underneath. This is why I stress the importance of proper skin care and also maintaining a relatively healthy deit to maintain a healthy looking complexion.
