What Is The Approximant Amount Of Money I Will Need To Go On Vacation To London For A Week

How much money do you need to stay in London for 1 month (as a tourist)?

I think it really depends a few things:where you stay - there are cheaper London neighbourhoods, and there are expensive neighbourhoods. Depending on budgets you can stay at an airbnb for around $1500 CAD - $4000CAD / $900 pounds to $2400what you eat - I like to budget out per day. Lets say your eat 10 pounds for breakfast, 15 for lunch, 15 for dinner and 10 for snacks / extras. That equals to about 50 pounds per day. totals $1500 pounds, roughly 2550 CAD - you can probably spend at lot less if you are opting to eat in / make your food I can see someone getting away with $750 pounds / $1260 CADwhat you do - there are so many free things to do in London - you can check out my 5 day in london itinerary post for some ideas (5 Days in London: Free Place to Go & Cheap Places to Eat - Jennifer An Bui, Travel Blog) but lets say you spend $75 CAD / 45 Pounds a week on an activity. About $300CAD / $180 poundshow much traveling your doing: Zone 1–5 pass is 178.60 pounds (full list - http://content.tfl.gov.uk/adult-...) $300 CADThat totals you at:High: $7150 CAD / 4250 PoundsLow: $3360 CAD / 2000 PoundsAlso, depending how many people you are traveling with will lower you total hopfully. Also how much you eat will be a big factor too.Unless you have you heart set on London, I would totally travel to other places that are much cheaper within europe as well.Whatever you do, I hope you have a great time and this was semi-helpful

How much money (in Rupees) will I require to go to Japan for a week?

Well, the airfare on ANA (All Nippon Airways_ which is the fifth best airline in the world is for about INR 40,000 round trip direct flight. Instead of taking hotels, you can take an airBnB apartment. This would save around 10,000 rupees per person on an average. One itinerary I recommend is:5 nights Tokyo, 3 nights Kyoto- day trip to Himeji Castle, 2 nights Hiroshima- day trip to Miyajima Island. You can then return to Tokyo from Hiroshima. This itinerary comes to around 85,000 INR if you stay at an airbnb apartment and at 94,000 INR if you stay in hotels which includes a JR Rail Pass (includes ride on shinkansen train between cities), Airfare, Accomadation. Visa fee, Transport from Narita Airport, SUICA rail card for Tokyo(includes metro in Tokyo), Disneyland and Disney Sea in Tokyo, Buffet breakfast on all days, Entrance fee to all places, ferry from Hiroshima Pier to Miyajima Island. This actually spans for more than a week. So you can do only Kyoto and Tokyo or only Tokyo or any other area which would come around INR 70,000. I really recommend that you visit Japan. It is just amazing. Bon Voyage!,Aditya.

How much money will I spend in London a day?

I’m in London and I spent £13.98 yesterday but today I’ve spent nothing. I live here and if you’re a tourist, what you spend will depend on where you stay, where you go and what you do. Public museums and art galleries generally have free admission but will accept voluntary donations, so you have a choice there of whether to donate, and if so, how much. Public transport is cheaper if you use an Oyster card. I’m over 60 and being a resident, I travel free after 9am on London Transport services and 9.30 on Southeastern and Thameslink Trains (the train operators in my area) from Monday to Friday and all day at weekends but if you’re a visitor, you’ll have to pay. Eating out can be expensive so look for cheap and cheerful cafes where you’ll be able to get a decent meal without needing to take out a bank loan to pay for it. If you fancy a beer or three with your meal, try a Wetherspoons pub, they’re no frills but cheap. Everything else of course is expensive and you’ll pay through the nose, so make sure that you’re credit card limit is robust enough to cover anything you may want to do or experience and have a good time, because you could be paying off the cost of your trip for quite a while.

How much money would I need to travel to London from India for a two week trip?

Thanks for the A2A!Since I am a traveller, I’m assuming you are asking the cost of a two week vacation to London.I’ll break it up in parts.Transportation (Both Inter and Intranational)- Assuming that you are wise enough to book the tickets at least 6 months beforehand, the flight tickets for a round trip would cost you about 50k INR. The 10 day London Pass (with travel) that you can avail at the LHR airport too would cost 22k. It gives you VIP access to over 80 attractions including the Westminster Abbey, London Bridge et al. You save a lot of sightseeing and commutation money on that one.A moderately expensive apartment on AirBnB would take around 70k for two weeks.Another 30k for moderate quality and quantity of food given that you don’t splurge in restaurants and mostly cook your own food or rely on ready made stuff available in the stores. For extra sightseeing not included in the pass, another 25–30k.SO, that brings the grand total to around 2 lacs. You can very well manage in an amount less than this but that depends on your travelling skills. If you are a traveller, you will need less. But if you are going for a vacation, I guess you might end up spending more.Carry traveller’s cheques and additional 300 pounds with you as caution money. For travelling tips, check out my answers in the profile.Cheers!

What does the average one-week vacation trip to Brazil cost?

The average 1 week cost of a trip to Brazil depends on your age, lifestyle and overall vacation goals. For most travelers, you probably want to stay in a nice hotel, see the sights, eat at a nice local restaurant, and go out on the weekends.Keeping this in mind, you’ll need to budget your money in advance so you don’t run out of money during your trip. Here’s a sample daily budget for 1 week in Rio de Janeiro:Roundtrip ticket to Rio from the US: $600Hotel : $30 per dayFood: $5 per dayTransportation: $5 per dayNightlife: $10 per dayTours: $25 to $50 per dayLocal SIM Card & Credit: $2 per dayShopping: $10 per dayYou can easily get by spending around $60 to $70 per day on a short 1 week trip. Add in a $600 roundtrip ticket and you’ll need about $1,200 for the entire week.Of course, I recommend bringing 2x the amount of money you think you’ll need just in case of emergency. You don’t want to be stranded in a foreign country without money. For more information on traveling to Brazil, please visit my website: http://www.expatkings.com

What are "sufficient funds" for a UK tourist/family visa?

There is no set amount - if there were, then it would be stated.“Sufficient” means no more or less than what it normally means. In the context of international travel that entails: transport, accommodation, food and drink, sightseeing or other planned activities, travel within the country, contingencies (i.e. travel insurance), and a reasonable buffer just in case. You will need to have flights and accommodation sorted before you apply anyway (if you don’t, the application will most likely be rejected). For the rest, show them your budget plan. It doesn’t have to be too granular - just, for example:Day 3: trip to LondonTrain fare for two people: £30Lunch and dinner for two: £60Museums: freeTheatre tickets for two: £100Shopping on Oxford Street: £200Needless to say, the total budgeted amount should be more than supported by your combined bank balances (i.e., don’t budget a £5,000 holiday if you only have £3,000 between you). Also, any support from people other than the applicant (including the applicant’s British spouse) must be supported and evidenced. Get them to write a letter for you to include, attach copies of their ID documents, and include bank statements and any other relevant documents. A common example of this is if you are staying with in-laws during the trip - in that case they need to write a letter, supply copies of their passports, and supply the deed or lease for their property. All this may sound excessive, but having helped my wife apply for two visitor’s visas and a spouse visa I can promise you that it is not. Unless your bank account shows six figures, take it seriously.
