What is the best 3rd party app so I can synchronize Microsoft Outlook emails and calendar among multiple computers running Windows 7 Home?

The best thing to do would happen like this...

A. Get rid of your PC's that are running on the memory hogging windows 7.

B. Replace them with Apple Macs.

C. The calendar and emails will sink automatically.

Best of luck!

I found a tool called Conexio, it’s pretty new on the market, nearly any marketing campaigns, but it’s doing a great job.The set-up is quite easy. After login and authenticating both calendars, calendars are always up to date. The cool thing is that both calendars are equal, so no ‘forwarding’ from one to the other. If you wish you can manage the direction of synchronization (for example choosing not to show work-related items in your private agenda due to abundance of calendar items).Personally, I find it very useful to keep track of my personal appointment in my work schedule so I don’t miss anything special at home, or organized by family or friends. For me, that’s definitely a big plus to keep using it.

Is it a Microsoft Exchange Calendar? Most businesses use that. Click on preferences from the Calendar menu and click on the account tab. Select the plus (+) icon and choose Exchange. Follow the necessary steps to set up your account. If it is not exchange, you can select the correct option on the same "Add Account" screen, or add it generically if you have more than the standard information for the CalDAV server. If you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help however I can in response to your comment on this answer.

You don't need to synchronize the calendars for the secretaries to see them.  Give the secretaries access to both calendars and they can view them both in Outlook.  They could even overlay them.  See this Microsoft page for details: View calendars side-by-side or overlaid

I used Google Calendar Sync but i found it to be buggy (re-bootstrapping periodically, reprocessing 1000s of events... also, it would peg the CPU periodically) and i didn't like the client-side nature of it. I found this way, which i think is better:Assuming you have a modern enough version of Outlook (2007+) and sufficient permissions, you should see a ribbon button to Publish Online. It's in the Home -> Share group, from the Calendar view. This will publish to a location that looks like this:webcals://calendars.office.microsoft.com/pubcalstorage/8t2g8sbz4445965/Doe_Jane_Calendar.ics (Google Calendar might not like the "webcals" - "webcal" (not encrypted) also should work.In Google Calendar, drop down the arrow next to Other Calendars and choose "Add by URL". If you don't know the URL (like the example above), you can always click Publish Online -> "Share Published Calendar" in Outlook to retrieve that address. If all this worked, you now have a MS Exchange calendar among your list of "Other calendars" in Google. So with this we have calendar syncing without an additional desktop app, or even the need for a desktop to be running at all.

The bottom line is that you can't physically connect from one computer's Outlook to another WITHOUT going through some type of 3rd party cloud servic (with 1 exception, but it is extremely technical and I'll cover that last.)Option 1) Ideally, if you are using Hotmail or Google, you can move your mail, address book, and calendar to their services, and connect Outlook from both computers to their services.Option 2) If you are using a 3rd party service, but have a Hotmail/Google account, you could also use:Google:http://www.google.com/support/ca...Hotmail:http://office.microsoft.com/en-u...Option 3) While not recommended, you could theoretically share the Outlook .pst file between the 2 computers using a service like Dropbox or Windows Live Mesh/Skydrive.Option 4) There is an open source solution called "Funambol".  I have been following them for well over 3 years and have proven to be quite reliable/secure.  They offer 2 methods:a) my.funambol.com which is their free service that I've been using for yearsb) install a funambol server at home and configure accordingly.  NOTE- this last option is extremely technical and not for the faint of heart. Finally, thank you for reminding me that I need to add this information my blog.Marc K.Twitter: stayinginsyncblog: stayinginsync.info

Can A G1 phone sync with Outlook email?

The answer is YES and NO. The G1 cannot sync with an Exchange Server directly to get mail. But 3rd party applications exist to sync your Outlook mail with your Google mail which in turn syncs natively to the G1. Now my employer would have a heart attack if I ported all my confidential emails to an online 3rd party system with no way for them to remotely lock the phone ( iPhone and windows mobile have this feature) so I am out of luck. But if this is just for personal email or your employer doesn't mind (I highly doubt this) I will provide some links to third party apps that may help.

P.S. Synching your contacts and c alendar should not be as much of a problem...I'll add a link for that also.
