Pretty much as the title says, name the best romance anime you know. You can name as many as you want, but please be the ones you think are the best. Only have 2 conditions to this. 1) No gay romance anime. (I believe its called yaoi or something. But anyways none of it) 2) I want to have a distinct relationship at the end of the anime. You know, where your absolutely sure that the 2 people are a couple at the end. (Not like the maburaho ending where nothing was really explained. Good anime, not the best ending.) Which is the best anime romance movie?
I got three…and all of them are at the top.Kimi no na wa. (Your name.)This movie is divine. A bit confusing at the most, but the animations, screenplay, soundtracks, story, concept, all are just amazing. I was hesitant to watch it, but after watching it, I could see why people loved it so much. Its still overrated a bit, but is exceptional, at the very least.5 centimeters per second.Made by the same producers as Kimi no nawa, 5 cm per second is all about separation. It depicts the hardship of life so perfectly, that some people can literally experience their own life through this. Personally, I cried like a baby.Koe no katachi (A silent voice)Honestly, I don’t know how to describe this movie. But it was perfect to the core. Just one sentence: I loved it...Out of the three, I can’t decide which one to proclaim as the best. Of course, individual perspectives do matter. If you can binge watch, watch all of them. NON-shoujo romance anime?
By non-shoujo i mean no gushy girl stuff because im a guy (not gay i just like romance) somthing with male lead (easy for me to understand the feelings if you know what i mean) somthing like suzuka. That is my favorite romance anime. AND NOT CLANNAD OR FRUITS BASKET. Nothing like fruits basket it was not serious enough if you know what i mean (have i said that alot). I also really liked rumbling hearts. So if you know a good one please post it. What anime do you know has magic, no romance and has a male lead?
Fate/Zero, the prequel of the Fate franchise is a mature battle royale between adult magicians, their magical servants (historical and legendary figures like King Arthur and Diarmuid from the Fenian Cycle), and the ideals they hold. It is more of an ensemble cast, but Kiritsugu is the MC and male lead. There is no overt romance (there are married couples but romance is never the focus). Most characters are adults. None of that high school battle royale mess.In terms of supernatural elements, most shonen fit this description. Romance is usually very minimal, young male lead, and magical elements.

FMP is a mecha/action/military anime series a male and female protagonists.-You’re Under Arrest (1996)Again, not “classed” as romance but it has romance elements. And LOTS of action to keep you entertained. Definitely a unique anime of its kind.-The Ambition Of Oda Nobuna (2012)If there’s one anime you should watch first on this list, Oda Nobuna would be the one. It has strong similarities to Shakugan No Shana, and the main character will remind you of Shana. Both with the main male lead: Yoshiharu (think Yuji Sakai)-Rokudenashi (2017)Not exactly an old school anime series, but the similarities are there so had to recommend it. It’s an action/fantasy/magic series with “very lightweight” romance.
