Is it better to buy a touch screen laptop?

Thanks asking for my advice.I'm quite surprised seeing answers from people who think they're a liability.!Now you'll have opinions from both camps, read and weigh each side, good luck!I absolutely love my touch screen, I'm addicted to it even though most of the time I use the keyboard.I use touch to manipulate whatever I'm working with, it's so much easier. Ie, scrolling the page up down and sideways, expanding collapsing or rotating images, text, etcetera. One previous answer didn't like the gloss of touch, quite frankly I would never buy a screen that's not glossy, I don't understand this liability.Another answer complained people touch the screen, but the same number touch my conventionalI don't see this as an issue at all, when someone touches this it doesn't bother me as much since the screen is made to be touched and the glass is easier cleaning. The rare times reflection from the gorgeous gloss is a problem I just put something in the way to carry shade, like the carrying case.I suppose some people would find it inconvenient but I can't stand matt monitors.Touchscreens are so addictive, I find myself reaching to manipulate the page even when I'm no on a touch. As far as I'm concerned the only reason not to get a touch is because they command a premium in price over a non touch. If you're gonna spend the extra money look into the 2 in one, having a tablet at times is quite nice too.

Which is the best touchscreen laptop for architecture and design?

Touchscreen really does not help much in design or architecture, at least not while you are making it.But it certainly neat to have it when you are doing presentation. You can get one of those gaming laptop that feature touch screen which typically cast around $1500~$2000 from reputable brands. They should satisfy the most of your need. Razer for example offer decent option if you also want to work with external monitor. And its mouse etc are reputable. Though Razer Blade are bit expensive side, and Razer Blade Pro is really expensive.
