Whats the best mobile phone?
i think he meant PHONE not service provider anyway. "best" depending on what you're looking for. and depending on if you're looking for something that will be coming soon , or if you're looking for what's already been released. for a hi-end phone, one of the best would be the samsung f700 which they still haven't released yet.(only announced) another would be the SE(sony ericsson)w960 which also hasn't been released yet. both of those have got touchscreen. the samsung has a 5mp, and se has 3+mp. the se p1 has been released already. the p1 is similar to a blackberry. same type of qwerty keyboard as a blackberry. touchscreen 3+mp wifi and 3g . its got a very professional look to it, but makes you slightly different so you're not like every other professional who's got a blackberry in their hands. =] for a mid-range phone, the se w580 is a great one(i have one). it just got released in august in the states. but i'd suggest you buy online via hong kong (their prices are cheaper). this one is a slider, no touchscreen. but its got a interesting and fun shake and play feature. camera is decent, good enough for normal everyday use. it also has alot of options for customization. what attracts me the most is the lights on the phone, veeeerry pretty hehehe low-end phone . i would suggest the nokia 5300 music express. (i also have this one). it's not so much a "low-end" phone, but for what its got, it's a VERY low price. it's a very solid slider, little, but solid, you won't feel like you'll break the phone. it's got great speakers, very clear quality camera. great customization options. you can play movies on it (.3gp h.264), mp3. it's a little phone paaaacked with features. well hope this helped !! ^^
Best Mobile Phone Contract?
I've been spending far too much money on my PAYG phone for the past few months, and as the model I have is quite old, I think it's about time I went for a contract. The problem is which one?! I've had a look at various models and decided that the HTC Touch HD would probably suit me best. Finding a suitable contract with that phone is proving a bit harder. I use my phone for a mixture of phone calls and texts, but I would probably use texts more. Currently I'm with Orange, but would definitely consider switching to another network if the contract was good enough. Bonus extras like free web minutes etc would be great. In terms of contract length I was looking at 18 month, but will consider 24 if the deal's good enough. In terms of plan cost, I suppose not more than £30/mo, as I spend a little more than that right now on PAYG, and I'm looking to save a bit by going to contract! So can anyone find me a suitable contract?! Best answer gets a whole 10 points!

I manage all my Contacts, many Calendars and Email from Google. What is the best way to synchronize all this with a mobile phone that will work in Canada? I'm aware that Samsung has struck a deal with Google to come up with "Google Phones", but they don't seem to offer what I am looking for yet...

Dude, buy a cheap phone and use your money for something useful. Two months after you buy your really expensive but cool phone, a new model will be out and your phone will be no better than anyone elses. Phone technology is moving so fast, that the $300 phones of today quickly become free with a new plan tomorrow. It is without a doubt the worst investment to make... even worse than a car. Do not buy an expensive phone!!!
