What Is The Best Net 10 Phone

Are trac phone and net 10 phones the same?

You have to buy your minutes from the provider of your phone. It does not matter if it is a motorola phone. I bought my phone at Target and it was provided to them by net 10 so, I have to buy my minutes from net 10. Trac phone also sold the phone that I have but, it was provided to the store by net 10 so, I had to buy minutes from them. It should say at the bottom of the phone who provided the phone.

Should I get a smartphone or a dumb phone from Net10?

For $5 more per month, you might as well get the $40 per month plan and stay within the data limits. Most of the time, switch to WiFi mode and do Not use the cell system for data.Prepaid Phones and No Contract Phones | NET10 Wireless Enjoy.

Which is the best mobile phone network in india for internet browsing with decent coverage area?

Phone network differs from point to point in every zone and everywhere you can basically consider Tata Docomo to come out with possible plans and services and can be more interesting even while you are in outskirts with proper zones.

I have a net10 cell phone will it work in mexico?

No, Im sorry. Many zones in Mexico do not even have reception, no matter what your phone is and no matter which company you are a client of (mexican company or international one).
Thats something u must really be aware of. Many zones will probably not have any communications at all, such as internet connection and also, probably no phone line will work there. Fortunately, in most cities and big towns, mobile phones do get some signal, even it may be a bit weak.

But anyway, the only thing i can recommend you (and the only thing i would do, absolutely) is to buy a mobile phone in Mexico. You can get a really cheap mobile phone for less than 290 pesos (that would be nowadays like 25 US dollars). And it includes the SIM card and maybe 50 mexican pesos to make calls for a month. Some of them may give you 100 pesos included. (of course there phones work only with prepaid cards, so you dont need to get any contract signed, and anyway if u find the phone is not for you or isnt as good as you thought, or it doesnt work, or whatever, all you have lost is 25 dollars...).

There are mainly 4 companies in Mexico: Telcel, Movistar, Iusacell, Unefon. Telcel is the one i recommend the most because it has the cheapest prices and it has the best internet offers. Then I would say that Unefon has the best prize for mobile phones (that offer of 300 pesos included SIM card and 100 pesos for a month). Movistar was never a good option for me. When I arrived to Mexico from Europe I missed Internet so so much, that I bought Movistar a SIM card that never worked fine and that ate in 1 minute all my 25 dollars i payed em to make calls. They never gave it back. So Id say go for a Telcel or a Unefon/Iusacell...
Good luck

What is the best prepaid cell phone plan for someone who uses a lot of data?

I just moved to the Bay Area and was looking for something similar.  HowardForums has a great list of providers here: General Prepaid Wiki:Prepaid Rate Plan Comparison. Before starting, do you plan to bring your own device or do you have a particular device in mind?  If yes, depending on whether the device is GSM or CDMA your options will be limited to a carrier that supports that frequency.  My shortlist came down to the following carriers:T-mobile: They have great plans from $30-$50 with lots of data, however, they throttle pretty hard.  Note that tethering / personal hotspots are not supportedAT&T: It'll cost you $25 + $25 = $50 for 1GB of data but the speeds are good.  They reason why I almost chose them was because they supported tethering and personal hotpotsStraight Talk: They advertise unlimited data for $45 but as they use T-mobile there is throttling.  Tethering / personal hotspots are not supportedNet10: They cost $50 for unlimited everything.  They were a bit of a gem as they used the AT&T network which does not throttle as hard as T-Mobile.  That being said, they're in the process of discontinuing new sign-ups with AT&T, which means you'd have to snag a SIM from Amazon or Walmart while the last.  In the end, I chose Net10.  These things can change pretty quickly, especially for MVNOs (i.e. straight talk, Net10, etc) so it's always good to check the facts at a forum such as HowardForums.
