What Is The Best Way To Find A Hidden Base In Minecraft Survival Mode Multiplayer

I hid a base by using a horizontal tunnel to the ocean, near the beach. You swim down to the tunnel to get into the base. Block off the original shaft with dirt or sand, and other non-cobblestone rock. Your original hole should be completely hidden. The underwater hole is hard to find. Underwater holes do occur naturally. You could do the same thing at a river. Don’t put a torch too near to the entrance. But chose your location near some landmark, so you can find the entrance…Then, inside the base, I made a small base with just a few things. That was a decoy base. Then I built a long tunnel (with a few bends) to my main base.In my small decoy base, I put granite, stone, or other non-cobblestone blocks to conceal my tunnel. Instead of a door, I just mine two blocks to go through the “non-door”, and then replace the blocks after I’ve gone through. That conceals the “non-door”.Far underground, I had my farm, lit by torches. I also had my cow pen. How do you get cows far underground? First build your cow pen room. Build a 2x2 mineshaft to the surface completely lined with ladders. Push a couple of cows down the shaft. Then fill in the shaft with natural materials. The grass will grow over the dirt on top. Or plant a tree native to that biome. There is nothing above ground to show that there is a base there at all.An underground base that is deep in a jungle can be very hard to find, if you position your vertical shaft carefully.Likewise, if you use a waterfall in a chasm, you can hide your entrance behind a waterfall. Using a cave as your long tunnel is also a good way to hide your main base. Again, match the existing stone at the entrance to your main base.

There are a lot of unique challenges.Diamonds are very hard to find, especially near spawn, although redstone is easier to acquire since you can find it in old branch-mines (real abandoned mine-shafts) where it was left behind by the original miners.Other players are not a tactical or intellectual threat, but they regularly sneak in and steal property from my furnaces. For this it is helpful to make traps or place intimidating signs around your domain, and of course keep all of your valuable property well-hidden.In single-player there is no such defensive component to base-building, making it very easy to do builds that would be unthinkable in multi-player.In multi-player, caving is always intense no matter how good you are at it. At times mobs are swarming you constantly, while at others the lag is insane and mobs are unpredictable and glitchy.Another big difficulty with SMP is that you can never pause the game (technically you can combat-log, for example logging off the server if you hear a creeper hiss, but I consider that unfair to the mobs so never do it myself). Server address in Minecraft multiplayer?

It's been awhile since I've played on my own server, but if I remember right, here's what you do. (Assuming you're on PC)

1. Download the minecraft server launcher here: https://minecraft.net/download
2. Make sure you know your IP address. (You can see it here: http://whatismyipaddress.com/)
3. Get the server launcher running, then open Minecraft, and enter your server. If it isn't on the list already, type in your IP address as the server address.
4. If you want to invite your friends, you'll have to open your ports. You'll have to explore that on your own, because what you have to do depends on what brand of router you have.
5. Your IP address is the same as your server address, so give that to your friends.

Like I said, it's been awhile, so I hope I'm not forgetting anything. If you run into problems or need more help, email me at jimbobawesomeness@yahoo.com

Are there computer-generated villages in Minecraft Survival Mode?

Yes, in creative and survival and here's a tip, if you find one and if you see a structure that is rectangular and has stone slabs on top of it, inside you will find a chest with useful stuff, and no it doesn't have the same stuff every time. Also don't bother killing villagers, because they have a lot of health and drop nothing, not even experience points. Oh and they are hard to find. Or you can look up a village seed.

How can I spawn villagers in Minecraft survival mode?

In Minecraft survival, I spawned near a village. So why not live there? I built myself a house and took care of the livestock, crops, and the mobs attacking the villagers. But after many days in game, all the villagers disappeared, as well as the iron golems I built for them.

In the middle of this survival game, all the villagers disappeared and I found all of them in a cave. I forced them out because there were zombies down there. Then after I built more houses, the villagers began to breed. I left on a mining expedition for diamond and each time I returned to my village, their numbers were dwindling.

Now all my villagers are gone. I even looked in the cave they were once hiding in, and the caves surrounding it! It feels really lonely. Question is, will the villagers respawn in their own village after a certain time? Or will they be extinct in that village?

In PVP:As far away from spawn as is reasonable. Further if /tp, /teleport or /home can be set and used.Obsidian walls, floor and ceiling. These should then be surrounded in water, to stop explosions, fire and many wall glitches.Hidden bunker room with probably half of your valuable items and some high tier armour to recover from any death/raids on your base.Access to a man mine or generated mineshaft from within your base. Allows you to go mining and exploring without having to leave the safety of your base. Make sure the mine access has at least two sets of doors to prevent creepers and other creatures making their way in.Enchanting room, indoor food farm, 2x2 infinite water supply, potion stands etc…Pet rooms and golems. In ‘campaign’:The same as above, without too much need for a very well hidden base.

Minecraft base ideas?

If its by water make a pool and at the other side of the pool dig down 2 and put a ladder down to a secret area preferably hiding diamonds or something else. You can hide it by putting dirt over the ladder so no one finds it you can also tell by putting a torch or redstone torch above it. Also if your on a server make an underground huge farm for bread hold the water with pistons. Make it as big as you can. You can also have a cactus farm and cook it to make green due to make a green floor. Fountains or lava fountains are nice. You also can make a tv with obsidian. Also about hiding diamonds I hide mine underneath music blocks no one checks there because they know it's a different block underneath. You can also have the hidden underground room under a tree just dig under it and bam a ladder.
Sorry I like this game too much. I would add colored flooring instead of stone or grass.
