Can birth control cause dizziness/being light headed?

In short, yes, everything you listed can be caused by birth control. Slight light headedness, headaches, nausea, and changes in appetite are some of the most common symptoms of birth control.
That being said, if any of these things become severe you should to to Urgent Care immediately and explain to them how you're feeling. The dizziness may subside, if it's very slight, you can wait and just give a call to your doctor. If it's any more severe than just a slight woozy feeling when you stand up though I would make an appointment with your doctor to see if this medication isn't something you should reconsider.
Birth control effects everyone differently, but most people's bodies normalize to the hormones after 2-3 months.

If you still have the small information packet that came inside of your birth control pouch I would read that to gather all the information you can. It will help you know what symptoms, and in which severity are normal, and it will also tell you what symptoms are dangerous and require immediate medial assistance.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Why do I feel dizzy after standing for long time? What can I do to improve my stamina?

When you stand up for a long time, the blood pressure falls and this condition is called postural or orthostatic hypotension. Symptoms of dizziness ,faintness, light-headness,confusion, dim vision all occurs due to this and gets alright when you lie down. Some people fall or faint due to this syndrome. Consumption of alcohol, exercise, dehydration etc increases these symptoms. In some young people too experience these symptoms which is not due to drop in blood pressure but increase in heart beat and this is called postural orthostatic tachycardial syndrome.Treatment is to increase the blood pressure while standing. Medications may help this. I would suggest you to consult a doctor.

Dizziness and nausea and bright lights?

Lately this has been happening really frequently. At random times usually when I stand up and usually at night, I start to feel really dizzy and it feels like my brain is floating (if that makes any sense) and all my movements feel weird. the lights get really bright and sometimes everything takes on a red tint. my stomach feels like im going to throw up but i never do. also i can feel my heart beat on the sides of my head near my temples its like pounding. these usually last for 5 minutes max and then they go away. does anyone know what this is?

Balance/dizziness?

I have had minor balance problems / dizziness for almost a year.sometimes when i take steps (usually sideways or diagonally) i seem to lose my balance and have to take an extra step. twice (in the last month) when i have been sitting down and then stood up, my head feels like it is spinning but then it goes away after 20 seconds or so, almost like a mini vertigo attack. also (and this may be unrelated) sometimes when i am sitting down and then get up or when i suddenly change what i am looking at, my eyes almost kind of go blind to the light change and take 10 seconds or so to re-adjust. this has been happening a lot longer than a year so i think its probably unrelated. if i had an inner ear infection, would these symptoms really occur like this for almost a year without getting that much worse? ive had no hearing problems or any other symptoms commonly associated with an inner ear infection? is there anything else that could cause these symptoms. lack of sleep (i have had less sleep over the past year when these symptoms began) or something else? im afraid i have meningitis or something serious. someone please answer me. thank you.
