What Is The Country Song Talking About A Girl Sticking Her Feet In The River Then Something About

Who sings the song with the lyrics "going down, down, down."?

The original poster is obviously a fan of Canadian blues. He/she is thinking of the Dutch Mason’s 1979 recording of GOIN DOWN. First couple lines are:I’m goin’ down,Down, down, down,I’m goin’ down

What is a song similar to "Wouldn't it be Loverly"?

So I'm not sure how similar a song you want, but I'm taking it to mean songs that are more upbeat and cute (rather than something slow or emotional). And something that's more from the classic musicals of the 50's and 60's than the more modern day ones.

There's 'I Could Have Dance All Night' also from My Fair Lady. It's such an iconic song, and really shows off a sopranos voice.

'Honey Bun' from South Pacific is fun, same with 'I Enjoy Being a Girl' from Flower Drum Song. 'Much More' from The Fantasticks, 'People Will Say We're In Love' from Oklahoma, and 'Simple Joys of Maidenhood' from Camelot are all very sweet.

If you wanna stick with a Julie Andrews song, 'I Have Confidence' from Sound of Music or 'In My Own Little Corner' from Cinderella would be good.

All great song, and I think they would all be great songs for your voice.
So, I hope that helped!

Country playlist for a family party?

My cousin and I are new country fans, since 2007, having a cowboy themed birthday party with country music in order to get some of our family members to open their minds to the wonderful world of Country Music!
We know of all the newer songs/artists but would like an older mix to play between the new songs.
Since we don't really know of any classic country music, could you please provide us with some of your favorites that you think would be perfect for our party to add to our playlist.

Thanks in advance!

An audition song for Kiss Me, Kate?

My theatre school is doing Kiss Me, Kate and Little Women and I need a song that is good for both. I am a 15 year old mezzo-soprano. Our director likes it when we audition from the show and I was wondering what songs would be good, preferably from Kiss Me, Kate? Girls will end up getting cast as boys, so some men songs would be alright too. Thanks!

Can you help me with a BADASS country playlist?

Audition Songs: A Ballad and An Upbeat Song?

When you're auditioning, you want to sing two CONTRASTING songs. It's best to pick just one Disney song and then a song from a Broadway musical with a completely different feel to it. For example, singing "Colors of the Wind" as your ballad and "Roxie" (from Chicago) as your uptempo.
One is a Disney song about nature, the other a sexy song about fame and being a celebrity. They contrast. :)

Good Audition Songs for West Side Story?

Outta can sure get to you. Wanna pick one?

If none of the songs from 'West Side Story' you think may be (or fear to be) repeated too often by others, then choose something within your own range and comfort zone.

Just be comfortable with what you will sing. And, feel the character of Anita.

I want to romance my girlfriend?

First, clean your car & before you pick her up, buy a single flower, usually a rose, of her favorite color (if you can).

Second, take her to a nice quiet restaurant. Tell her to order anything she wants. After dinner, drive her to your place, but take your time. Let her know you enjoy just being with her, but not by saying so. Keep the music low.

Third, once you get home, start a bath. Make sure it's not too hot. Pour some scented oil into it. You may want to time it earlier so you can ignore it while it fills up. When it fills up, take her into the bathroom and give her a bath. If your tub is really small, give her a shower. Be attentive and gentle. Don't focus on any one spot. After the bath (shower), help her dry. You may or may not want to brush her hair.

Four, take her to your bedroom, have her lay on her stomach, and give her a nice full body massage. After you've done her backside, neck to toes (unless she's too ticklish on her feet). Ask her to roll over and massage her front. Again, do NOT focus on those nice spots. ; )

After the massage, just lay down beside her and hold her. If she instigates sex, then go with it, but let it be her choice.

P. S. You have to set this up ahead of time. And don't let her know your plans.
