What Is The Delivery Time For Booking Honda Activa 125

How many days will Honda take to deliver a dio bike in Bangalore?

It totally depends on the availability. If they have dio with your preferred color readily available, they will deliver it in a day or else it will take 3–7 days at max.

What is the average life of a Honda Activa? How long can I expect mine to last?

Well, It depends how much it’s taken care by her owner. I’ve seen more than 90k kms. Activas yet running butter smooth. Recently my best friend bought an Activa 2013 model that one has 44k on it’s Odo. Believe me it runs so smoothly and returns mileage of 45kpl. easily. Keep servicing on time and you will never face any problem in years.

Is there any waiting period for TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa?

The waiting period if any depends solely on three grounds:-Availability of the model you intend to buy.Color you intend to buy.Size of dealer and Date you want to take the ride home.Reasons:-If you choose a popular model may be the amount of vehicles for the month for the dealer may have reached.Color is an issue as the rarer the color lower the chances of availability.Small dealers don’t keep so many vehicles in store so availability may be an issue, also if you planning to pick the vehicle on a specific date say Dusshera or Dhanteras a huge public does so so availability might be an issue even with large number of vehicles with the dealers, for this you may have to make prior reservations with the dealers.“hope this helps you understand”

What's the waiting period for the new Honda City 2017 model?

i havent checked it yet, try to talk with your dealer, maximum time i guess could be around 2weeks

What should I know before buying a brand new Activa?

Honda Activa 3G has this peculiar idling RPM imbalance issue. Company recommended settings will give the rider trouble keeping up idling - the engine switch's off frequently. If the RPM is kept high to maintain idling, the vehicle will move on its own. I am not sure if they rectified this issue with the Activa 4G version, i rather doubt it. Look for that.Insurance: The showroom will register you with a random insurance they think is best. If you face any issue, you take the vehicle to them, Authorized service centre. They claim insurance depending on applicability and or your attitude to fight. For warranty you are required to service your vehicle at Authorized Service Centres only. The best thing every service centres does right is replace engine oil, rest of it depends on the mechanic and your luck. So, take the free services offered by the company at Authorized service centres so that if anything goes wrong, you may claim warranty or put up a fight to fix things for you. I may suggest to service your vehicle at service centres till 10,000kms just in case if anything goes wrong. For minor adjustments you may consult with a private mechanic. For accessories you may not do much, they would add company supplied accessories by default which of-course cost a bomb. I would stick with the mandatory accessories alone for registration and try to find a lining work shop elsewhere for others , if required. As a precautionary measure before taking delivery of your vehicle check for scratches and damages, if any. Start the vehicle and check all electrical’s. The lights, indicators, horn and switches. Listen to the engine beat to make sure the engine is working okay. Ride around a little and check to find the breaks are okay and the idling speed. Adjust the rear view mirrors and report them if any assistance of a mechanic is required. Also look for what the rules say about fuel, the showroom has to supply you with at-least 500ml of fuel while delivery.

Why is there such a long waiting period for the new 2017 Honda Activa 125?

Is it worth it to buy a bike or scooter from Paytm?

Paytm is a good cashless option to buy a two wheeler . But, I would recommend visiting the nearest dealership who partners with Paytm for quick response.Pros:Cashless transaction (Only Ex-Showroom price)Cashback amountCons:Ex-Showroom (Base) price may vary in app and in showroomConvenience fee of rupees 500I bought TVS wego through Paytm. I visited the showroom which partners with Paytm. The base price in app was rupees 50421 with rupees 2500 cashback. But actual price in the showroom was rupees 49990. But the dealer couldn’t help with this issue. Also Paytm support said such variations may happen. Since the dealer insisted full payment in cash (if not via Paytm) citing some charges for card transaction, i finally booked the scooter through Paytm. Remaining varying charges of road tax , insurance, extra fittings etc were paid in cash.Paytm price (Base price+ Convenience fee): 50421+500 = 50921Actual price via Paytm (Paytm price - Cashback): 50921–2500=48421Total Savings (Actual ex-showroom price - via Paytm ): 49990–48421=1569I got the vehicle the next day instead of waiting as shown in app screenshotPicture source: My phone screenshot

Is it really necessary to change engine oil during each of the initial free services of a 2-wheeler (Honda Activa), provided I don’t drive it too much and take advantage of the free services every 3 months?

There are multiple reasons for which you need to change your engine oil for all the free services mentioned in your service book. The most important reason behind this if you do not change oil on every free service provided by the dealer and if somehow your engine fails due to some damage then the dealer might back fire on you “Why was engine oil not changed on a defined periods?”. This will expire your engine parts warranty(5 years extended warranty on engine parts for Honda usually). It’s better to change oil on each free service even when your odometer is under used.
