So you would get about 250 watts of power an hour.So you need 1200 / 250 = 4.8 hours of bright sunlight.A single solar panel of 280 watts will do the work for you. There are other solar panels with various power ratings you can install to charge your batteries such as 100 watts, 150 watts, 235 watts, 250 watts and many more. You just need to calculate the number of solar panels by dividing 1200 watts with power rating of the panels.

Just to chime in on this with my own weird experiments.I've patched together a twin t6 led headlight made from cheap as chips trustfure torches.Using the included drivers and some also scarily cheap batteries I got quite good runtimes.The cells are both 3400 trustires and ...9800mah gmt cells (lol) the yellow ones on eBay.Ok, so wiring 4 cells in parallel into one of those driver led combos and letting it run, it would reach approx 5.5-6 hours of usable light, although diminishing rapidly at the end.Also they run limited I think to about 80% of the max. And produce less heat (nowhere near the claimed lumen output on the torches or near the heat output of my old XML setup.Claimed ed lumens was stupid but they do seem to give off about 7-800lm if memory serves as a comparison to what I'm looking at.The battery calculators say it should only run for a couple of hours max at full blast.
