What Is The Difference Between These 2

Whats the difference between these 2 poems?

I think they are both written from the point of view of a black american before slavery was abolished. The poet in the first poem is looking at things optimistically and believing that 'tomorrow' things will be better. He views all black people/minorities as 'I' and speaks for all of them. He knows there will be equality one day, though perhaps not in his lifetime. He is hopeful about this. This poets dream has been 'deferred' to a future generation and he is accepting of this.

The poet in the second sees the 'dream deferred' as being destructive. He speaks of it festering and rotting, as though it infects the person who has it. The poet does not view his or her dream as achievable in the success of any future generations. The identity of the poet is very much insular, individual. Achieving the dream in his lifetime is all that matters.

That is my opinion on things. Hope it's been of some help.

What is the difference between these 2 sentences: I was there in September and I have been there in September?

September is a specific point in time, divorced from the here and now.Was is the preterite past of the verb to be and is used when the action ( we will consider being to be an action ) is over and done with.Have been is, in this case, the past continuous of the verb to be, and has a relationship with the present time. Therefore, “I was there in September” would be the most usual construction. That being said, if asked: “Have you ever been to Berlin in the summertime?” you could answer “I have been there in September, but never earlier in the year.” This is a general time reference, not specifically restricted to one point in time. You could answer: “I was there in September,” but that would imply that you were there the September most recently past.

What's the difference between these 2 vitamins?

Geritol Complete, and Women's One A Day.

I compared the labels and both seem to contain the same ingredients and approximately the same amounts of each...I have heard lately of a lot of success with the Geritol Complete "baby in every bottle" stories. What's the difference, if any? I take the Women's One A Day, BTW...but if the other one's better I will switch. TTC # 1 for 3 months.

What is the difference between these 2 expressions?

Be careful where you put your negative sign.The first way of writing it can be simplified as follows:[math]\displaystyle \frac{-x^7 + 39}{33x} = \frac{-x^7}{33x} + \frac{39}{33x}[/math]The second one, however, simplifies like this:[math]\displaystyle -\frac{x^7 + 39}{33x} = \frac{-x^7}{33x} + \frac{-39}{33x}[/math]Basically, the negative sign in front of the second expression applies to the entire numerator, whereas in the first expression, it only applies to the [math]x^7[/math] term.[math]\displaystyle -\frac{x^7 + 39}{33x} = -\Big(\frac{x^7 + 39}{33x}\Big)[/math][math]\displaystyle =\frac{-x^7 - 39}{33x} \ne \frac{-x^7 + 39}{33x}[/math]
