What Is The Egyptian Gym Workout

What is the Egyptian gym workout?

Hey everyone

What is the typical workout that most Egyptians do in the gym? Especially in the small gyms in sha3bi areas? I used to go to a gym in a poor area in El Giza, and now I am living abroad, and I went to the gym with a friend (who is from Asyut) and he did almost the exact same workout (bench 3ali, bench watti, the pull down machine amami w 5alfi)

Can anyone who goes to a gym in Egypt tell me their routine?

Egypt: Good workout music please?

You reminded me of the good old days, just a proof of thought, once you set foot in the gym NEVER find an excuse to leave.

Anyhow if you can find out the song in this trailer, am sure it would pump you up and invigorate you because it certainly is doing to me and i can say am experienced in the gym field.

How did people workout in ancient times?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that traditional methods of “working out” did not exist in ancient times. I'll even go as far to say that working out is something humans invented because after the agriculture revolution humans started to get fat. Once we started to raise livestock and not be nomadic we became fat. When I think of ancient times I think of Rome or the cavemen. In both situations life was not easy. And you were lucky to live to your late 30’s.For the caveman they were worried about preserving fat and finding food, not getting buff. They were roaming the land following migrating herds of buffalos or wooly mammoths or whatever the fuck prehistoric animal there was. Also life was short. IF YOU NEEDED TO GET LAID YOU’D PROBABLY HIT A WOMAN OVER THE HEAD WITH A CLUB AND DRAGGED HER TO YOUR PENTHOUSE CAVE.If you were in Roman times you were probably a peasant and had the same situation. You were happy to be alive and slave away for a coin to get some bread.Or…You were a soldier and marching around the globe fighting day in and day out. Once again no need to get buff when you are on deaths door.Either way in ancient times people probably weren't working out. They were hunting or fighting.—Working out is basically an invention that sedentary people had to create to not be fat.If you are interested in fat loss that is easy to understand I have written and EBOOK and it's available on AMAZON. It's only 2.99 and if you found any of this info funny or informative please purchase the bookFat Loss 101: A Beginner's Guide For Consistent Weight Loss With 5 Steps Fat Loss 101: A Beginner's Guide For Consistent Weight Loss With 5 Steps - Kindle edition by Joe Giannetti. Where can i buy gym equipment in Egypt?

Depends what you want, if you want just a treadmill you can check out any big pharamcy like Al Khalil or El Ezaby. I know Khalil pharamcy has a multi workout machine. If you want a bunch of pieces of equipment you can check out Spinneys in City Stars or in Carefour in Alexandria

I think im addicted/obsessed with working out?

about a month ago i decided that my life needed a change, i needed to move forward in a positive direction.
So I started to work out, buy few gym equipment, design a training ragimme that consists of weight training and cardio(running, rowing machine, cycling). And i'v stuck to it and it made me feel great, i feedl fitter, stronger, and i am in joy that i feel like i can and want to do this for as long as i can. my lifestyle has changed, i eat so much more healthier, i get a buzz everytime i wake up in the morning to do my work out, and i get such a buzz after a workout.

The problem is, is that working out is all im thinking about these days, its the topic of most of my conversations, im always reading about different methods of training, always checking my progress, heck, when im asleep i even dream about it.

Its coming to a point where i love working out, but all the obsessing over it is kind of doing my head in.
And when i miss a day of workingout(other than my rest day) i feel a bit miserable that day. Its like if i dont workout on a day, my day seems meaningless, and i get a bit down.

Is this an unhealthy approach to training?
Would you say imm addicted to it?

How popular is bodybuilding in the Middle East and Egypt?

Very popular.I live in Alexandria, Egypt and there is almost a gym nearby (5–10 minutes away). Recently, there has been an increasing number of people (youth to be specific) going to a gym or a fitness center, specially the middle upper class. Also, with the establishment of new communities that promote a healthy lifestyle (like “crossfit”) and new clubs, becoming a trainer/coach is a popular and demanded job nowadays. My facebook timeline is filled with photos and selfies of friends at a gym working out.Nevertheless, very little people train to go to competitions and that sort of stuff. Most people train just to be healthy and fit.

What do I do about this creeper at my gym?

I go to la fitness and me and my friend always see this old creeper guy staring at us while we work out and we just started calling him 'creeper' well I was working out today by myself and I had my headphones in and he came up to me and said something so I took my headphones out and he introduced himself and tried shaking my hand he told me his name was gary and i told him my name and he said "you look like an egyptian with those bangs, your body is wow amazing, you have a great body, I see you in here all the time" and as he is talking to me he keeps staring at my boobs and my legs and all over at me...it made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and me being really nice to people I kind of shrugged it off and just said 'oh thanks...' and really I just wanted to punch him in the face and tell him that he is older than my dad and that he shouldn't be looking at me I'm only 19 years old! And this guy wasn't just being nice/friendly he was being perverted...and as I was leaving the gym he stared at me and said 'bye jessica' I don't know what to do because I don't want him to talk to me everytime I go to the gym, should I tell people that work there about him coming up to me??? I find him extremely weird, old, and creepy...

What is your opinion about the bath towel for the gym?

As soon as you've got a considerable bath towel in your side, sweating during your workouts becomes a compulsion that you do not want to miss out on.Bath towels are high absorption due to their size. They don't especially need to be of the highest grade of Egyptian or Turkish cotton to soak in your sweat. This gives you the chance to get yourself microfiber towels too, that is much more affordable! These towels protect you from germs in regards to gym equipment. It's not unknown that all of the machines in the gym are utilized by sweaty people, and that transfers some of the germs to the chairs too. Now, you might carry Purell, or you might just put your towel on the seat and perform your exercises. Nonetheless, in this case, your gym towel has to be made of pure cotton since microfiber has a trend of turning into a breeding ground for bacteria.Personally, I am using Mizu towel for my gym use. It’s perfect for gym use. It has Maximum durability, maintains softness, and lint free. you pick one from mizu towel official site. However, when you do get it done, here are some of the things you should keep in mind --Always account for your perspiration tendency and choose accordingly. Should you sweat profusely, then hand towels may not be your thing.Ensure that you purchase the ideal kind -- and it is best you consistently choose cotton. Unless of course you would like only one piece and want it to dry fast, in which situation microfiber should be your choice.

Elliptical Orbitrack at home..will it help tune a pear-shaped bottom?

Pearshape is GENETIC. It is pretty much impossible to get rid of it completely - so don't have any high hopes :/ sorry just need to warn you about that!!!

Anyway - If you need to get a machine, get a running machine.

Why? With bikes or ellipticals, people 'think' they're exercising and loosing weight but they're really not. All they're doing is letting the machine do the work for them - they never do it properly cause it needs ALOT of speed and resistance to make it effective...

Get a track-running thing. It's SO much better and will work wonders, like 10x faster than an elliptical. The main thing is to get your heart beat up and pumping for 20 minutes - after that, you start to burn fat, so continue on for 15 minutes of good heart pumping exercise.

If you aren't breathing heavily, sweating or panting after a workout - YOU HAVEN'T DONE A THING.

Diet: stick to 3 small meals and 2 small snacks in between - Avoid carbohydrates FOREVER. Focus on Vegetables and fruits because these will help shed weight.

And remember, pear shape is genetic - my friend is a super workout freak and she has, and always will have, a pearshaped body. But don't fret, she's sexy too! Pear shaped people can be sexy if they aren't so shy!
