What Is The Entrance Music Of The Un Americans

American foreign policy?

American neutrality was sparked for a number of reasons:

1. America was geographically separated from Europe and the rest of the world by two large oceans, and Americans wanted to stay out of European struggles which they believed they had no business in; and from which they could gain no advantage.

2. America was a developing nation and did not want to invest the large sums of money necessary to maintain large standing armies and navies. Thus, for most of American history, America had virtually no military force with which to become involved. Under these circumstances, neutrality makes perfect sense.

3. The American War of Independence was fought partially over the idea of the British housing a large standing army on American shores, and making the Americans pay for it. The Americans were very apprehensive of the expense. furthermore, large militaries were viewed by Americans as a means of imposing tyranny, and the Americans didn't want them.

So, to sum up, isolation grew from geographic isolation, expense, and fear of tyranny. Why did it change?

1. Commerce. In the 20th century, America was far more dependent on foreign trade than in the 19th. This meant that other nation's problems would have dramatic ramifications on domestic markets.

2. Technology. By the start of WW I, military technology (German U-Boats) could have more impact on American interests. Later developments like Aircraft (think of Pearl Harbor), and still later, ICBM's made the idea of safety behind ocean walls an illusion.

3. Philosophy. In the 20th century, starting with Wilson, the US began to develop a political mentality that intervention in the world for the advancement of democracy was America's destiny. This was reinforced by the atrocities of WW II. Presidents Roosevelt and Truman were convinced that American engagement in the world was indespensible for maintaining world peace. The growth of the Soviet Union after the war only increased that committment, as there was no other nation strong enough to provide leadership against the threats of international communism.

Hope this answer helps. Cheers.

What is the first floor of "un appartement" called in France?

Strictly speaking "un appartement " in French describes what is called "a flat" in the UK, namely a dwelling in a block (un immeuble) but the component rooms of which are all on the same level. It has not got a first floor, it is located "on" the first floor.
The kind of apartment that has rooms on two levels is called "un duplex".

The "rez-de-chaussée" describes the level of a floor which is at ground level in any building, including a block of flats. So if you live in an apartment that is level with the street, you would write "Notre appartement est au rez-de- chaussée". The reception of a hotel for instance is "au rez-de-chaussée". The word "rez-de-jardin" is used for a flat that is level with the ground but instead of facing the street, it is facing a garden at the back of a building.

If your apartment overlooks the street and is above the level on which the main entrance door is, it is "le premier étage". "Notre appartement est au premier étage" or " Nous habitons dans un immeuble et notre appartement est au premier étage".

Likewise, if one lives in a house the ground floor is "le rez-de-chaussée" and the first floor is "le premier étage".

'Rez-de-chaussée' needs two hyphens, and there is an acute accent on the first 'e' of "chaussée".
'étage' requires an acute accent on the first 'e'.

Why did the United States of America enter into the First World War?

I would like to underline all sets of events that coerced US to enter world war 1Sinking of LusitaniaIn november 1914 British declared the aggregate North sea as war zone and did not countenance any contraband over North sea including food.This sundered German food supplies and an estimated 400,000 Germans perished due to starvation.Germans were cognizant of the fact that British isles were islands and they hinged on trade for their supplies of food as well as on munitions . So in february 1915 Germans declared the sea around British Isles as a war zone and ambushed any ships containing contraband using submarine  warfare. In may 1915 a US ship Lusitania  destined from New York to Liverpool was attacked by submarine torpedos near coast of Ireland. It killed about 1200 passengers out of which about 128 were American civilians. Before this attack America was only implicitly helping the allies and not the central power by providing monetary help as well as other supplies.This strife rankled the americans and American president  asked Germany for apology which confoundingly the Germans provided on 9th september 1915 and promised to remit any attack on passenger ships .Zimmermann telegramThis blockade implied by the America was commencing hurdle in the way of Germans. So German foreign secretary Arthur Zimmermann wrote an encoded telegram to Mexico dated january 1917 calling for assistance in return to reclaim their lost cities of Texas ,Arizona and New mexico which the British intercepted and shared it with America. This outraged the american public and after a few months America formally declared war on Germany.Moreover US president Wilson Woodrow proclaimed in Congress on april 2 1917 that US was fighting a war on the side of Democracy as Britain and France were nominally democratic at that time while Germany and Austro-Hungary were basically monarchies. US also had substantial trade as well as cultural ties with Great Britain which it did not wanted to sever by not succoring UK at the time of war.

Does music effect the way a person learns?

Absolutely...

There are a few things that matter depending on the individual...

1. Modality.
Means one's sense, that is visual (sight), auditory (hearing), Khinestethic (movement and touch), smell and taste; while the scientist only sort the first 3.
I think i don't need to explain you about this.

2. Senses conciusness.
let just said consciuness, human's mind was categorized into 3 level of consciusness: Conscius, semi-conscius and un-conscius.
Consciusness are when you do tyhings that you're really think to it, such as when you're reading my post, when i type this post, etc.;
Semi-consciusness are like reflects, something that you do oftenly that you're well trained into some reflects;
Un-consciusness is something that you never really think/remember it, while our brain are so strong that it actually remember anything that comes in by your senses, that's why we oftenly felt like Deja Vu but we cannot really recall it.

Now, How do music effect a the way a person learns (and also doing aother kind of works...) ?

When one's auditorial was in the conscius / semi-conscius mind, it effect pretty much.
peoples with conscius auditorial, they must study / work with their auditorial, because it was their strongest sense;
peoples with a semi-conscius auditorial (and other sense on the consciusness) will need to hear music as a background while they're studying because if they don't other sound will disturb them.
But not any sound/music will help.

Theortically, a beat in music will effect the heart-beat, the heart pumps blood into the brain with a certain speed. The last one will effect the brainwaves wich in certain level will be good for studying/working, some will be to low that will keep you sleepy, and smoe are to high that will keep you in stress.

Now the best brainwave to study/work was called the alpha-wave wich about 60-80 Hz, wich means the heart beating 60-80 times/minutes = a music with tempo about 60 - 80 bpm.

If you listen to the Mozart effects CDs, they're all in 60-80 bpm.

But this last one was only a theory, however there's always a minority report, means: a minor facts that un-firm this theory...

Hope this help
Bless You

How do I get a full scholarship to the top US universities?

As others have already said, financial aid at the schools you listed is based on need. Each school calculates an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and deducts it form the Cost of Attendance (COA). These schools make up the difference with grants and work study. They don’t expect families to take out loans to pay off the difference.Keep in mind that a family’s expected contribution to the cost of their child’s education includes household assets. The students assets are expected to be applied to the cost of an education at Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and Yale. Typically a student is expected to contribute 20% of his or her assets each year to the cost of his or her education. So if a student has a trust, a savings account, a educational savings plan in his or her name, then 20% of this asset will be used in the calculation of the family’s EFC. In addition, the parents of the child, whether married or not, are expected to contribute 5% of their assets to their child’s COA. Schools like Harvard, etc. include a wide range of assets such as home and business equity, cash on hand, stocks and bonds, real estate equity, trusts, and retirement accounts.If a family has less than $65,000 but a significant amount of assets, it will not get a free ride. And a family with $150,000 in income may only be expected to apply 10% of its income to their child’s education at Stanford, but if it has a house worth $500,000 to $600,000, several hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings and another couple hundreds of thousands in stocks and bonds along with a vacation home valued at $250,000, the family’s Expected Family Contribution can quickly approach $60,000 to $70,000 and there goes any thought of financial aid.
