What Is The Game That You Think The Most Horrifying Game Ever

Which of these video games series do you think is the scariest, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, or Fatal Frame?

Silent Hill.Keep in mind, I’ve played all three of them, and appreciate them all. Now, there are individual entries that stand out from among the series. For example, the REmake surpasses most Silent Hill games, and Fatal Frame II is renowned as one of the most frightening games ever made. But in terms of the ‘overall’ series and its effect on gamers? I’d have to give it to Silent Hill.Words can’t describe the sheer terror I felt during certain moments, while playing Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 1, the sheer sense of dread I’d feel at approaching certain areas, even though it was just a video game! There were certain rooms I’d walk into, and I’d almost have a heart attack at the horrific nature of what I’d find inside, figuratively speaking! The sewer room with total darkness in Silent Hill 3 comes to mind. Nothing I’ve seen in either Resident Evil or Fatal Frame matches that. Silent Hill 2 was less effective, but it amped up the storytelling aspects and produced a suitably creepy vibe, showing that it wasn’t all just cults and demons. I’ve heard a lot about how terrifying Fatal Frame is supposed to be, and it’s a good series, but… Ehhh, I just don’t see it. It’s spooky, sure, and atmospheric, but is it frightening? I don’t think so.That’s why for my money, Silent Hill is the scariest of those three. The psychological and gory scares it provides combine to produce one gruesome tableau.

What is the most horrifying game in PC?

I think the most horrifying game would be “OUTLAST” due to the following reasons,"The core gameplay experience is not about combat, "It's about having the player suffer."The game takes place in a fictional asylum set in the real forests of Mount Massive, in the Rocky Mountains. The backstory is drawn from the Real experiments conducted by the CIA in the 50s, 60s in the U.S. and Canada. Which are still shrouded in secrecy and some think continue to this day, dealt with mind control and drugs. There are a lot of clever touches to amp up the fear in the game. Tt is meant to be a"stealth horror".Storyline:Its a story of a reporter who gets information from an anonymous person that something fishy is going on at a mountain asylum. He goes there to investigate, but when he arrives he realizes that all hell had broken loose already. He figures probably a good idea to just leave, but it's too late and he's trapped inside. Thanks for viewing.

What are the scariest horror video games? *?

- Dead Space is one of the most atmospheric and scary games for PS3.

- Bioshock has a superb atmosphere as well, but it's not as much of a horror game.

I have not played this game, so I can't comment on it, but the Parasite Eve series is survival horror. And if you live in the PAL region you can get the second one on PS-Store as a classic. I don't think it's available in North America, probably available in Japan.

Is The Last of Us the most disturbing video game ever made?

Is The Last of Us the most disturbing video game ever made? Thanks for A2A.No, it’s not even close to being most disturbing. I think certain horror games and the likes of Saw games and in general gore type of games that aim for maximum amount of gore and maximize “disturbing” the player with shock are far, far more effective at disturbing players.Last of Us is best remembered for evoking vast array of emotions some of which we are not used to experiencing during game such as awe, inspiration, aspiration, perspiration, etc. This was achieved by masterful writing, great characters, a real sense of immersion in the believable setting and the beautiful surroundings. When I think of AAA (triple A) game, I think of Last of Us.I would hope that I could ever make a game that could evoke even a tenth of those emotions in gamers that the game evoked in me.That one scene on the roof when it’s tranquil and you see those certain things. I don’t want to spoil it but I think it made a lasting memory I’ll never forget.Beautiful game in every sense of the word.If you’re even a little squeamish google’s image search: “disturbing game scenes”. You won’t catch Last of Us there.Oh. It’s there. And while it definitely had it’s share of disturbing moments that’s not what I remember it for.Though my children are going to wait a long time to get their hands on it! That’s for sure. I wonder if anything will even run the game at that time.

What is the most inspirational game that you ever played?

The games that are most inspirational are epic RPGs. You know the ones where something spooky happens in a fantasy world (or maybe a world modelled after earth) and the world is going to end if you don't find a way to cheat death and kill god and harness magic powers and stuff. Tales where the main character is definitely an underdog yet has such a drive that he (or she) can achieve the seemingly impossible. Usually because they diligently train and get a lot of support from their friends and they get lots of courage to do whatever they need to do. It was always kind of weird how the main characters are the only people in the world who can save it, as unlikely candidates as they seem. They are so inspirational not only because of the experience the game gives you but because the main character is able to do so much just by trying as hard as possible. And the charactera usually evolve as people too and their personalities improve which is encouraging too. So, a game like xenoblade chronicles.

What are some of the most frightening computer games you have ever played?

I personally think the scariest game I have ever played is SCP Containment Breach. It does not rely on cheap jump scares for its horror, but rather sticking you in a huge facility with some of the creepiest monsters ever conceived. The primary monster is SCP-173, which functions exactly like the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, except it predates them. It’s true, the monsters that are statues when you look at them, but murder you when you look away (or blink), originated in a creepypasta. The game has a blinking mechanic, which forces you to close your eyes every several seconds. If that happens when SCP-173 is in the room with you… you die. But other than that, you’re safe. No jump scares, just the knowledge that if you don’t get far enough away from it before the next time you have to blink, your neck is not staying intact. And he is fast. You can hear him scraping along the ground when he’s looking for someone to kill, and he has a knack for crawling around in vents to find his way into whatever room you’re in.Another monster you’re trapped with is SCP-106. He can walk through walls, and if he touches you, he teleports you to his private murder-dungeon. You can escape from it, but you probably won’t. He walks very slow, has a very slow and obvious spawn animation, and a distinct “song” plays until he goes away, so there’s no jump scares here. Just you running for your life and hoping you don’t run into a dead end before he gives up the chase. There’s more, but for the most part the remaining ones don’t chase you, they wait for you to come to them. And the best part is, you can run into multiple monsters at the same time.If I’m being honest, I was never able to play this game all the way through without enabling a few cheats to make it less scary.
