What Is The Heaviest And Most Brutal Metal You Have Ever Heard

Most brutal and darkest metal genre!?

The most brutal metal genre is called "brutal death metal"... literally. "Brutal technical death metal" is even heavier (because it tends to be faster). But they're both sub-genres of regular death metal.

The most brutal band in existence that I know of is called Internal Suffering (and their spinoff act, Mindly Rotten). Check those two out. If they're not the most brutal bands you've ever heard, you've got to tell me who you listen to, because I haven't heard anything like them before. Their album "Chaotic Matrix" is a little more accessible than their last two, but I'm speaking relatively. Most people can't handle more than a minute of "Chronozonic Force Domination" or "Awakening of the Rebel".

As for grindcore -- it's up there. But it's not as gnarly as brutal death metal. Dead Infection is probably the heaviest grindcore band that's ever existed. They released an album in the mid-90s called "A Chapter of Accidents" and it's pretty hard to handle. MUCH heavier than bands like Pig Destroyer, Nasum & Discordance Axis. Insect Warfare is probably next in line. They're a little more recent. Both are actually closer to deathgrind than grindcore, because they growl instead of scream, and have more of a death metal feel than hardcore, but they're classed as both.

The darkest metal genres are black metal, and its various spin-offs, like atmospheric black metal and depressive black metal, and death doom metal (not doom metal... but "death doom metal"). Granted, they both can sound like a wall of noise on the extreme end of the spectrum, but they tend to be pretty dark. They're all about atmosphere (hence atmospheric), and deal in some pretty dark themes (see: "My Body Is Not a Temple, It's a Repulsive Pile of Sickness" by Gnaw Their Tongues, or "Death - Pierce Me" by Silencer).

What is the heaviest metal song ever!?!?!!!?

It's funny that people won't get off that Black Sabbath was NOT the 1st metal band. This song has definite Heavy Metal in it(This group was from Georgia I believe) and Blue Cheer was Heavy metal 2 years BEFORE Sabbath came out! @Bater Yeah I never really thought of Helter Skelter as a Metal song either. I mean no one wants to call Blue Cheer a Metal band in here for whatever reason but they say Helter Skelter is Metal! Heck Blue Cheer did a Speed Metal song on their second album and that was before Sabbath as Well.

This is a good question. I have kind of a category of hard rock with really crunching guitars—should probably do a compilation at some point. Oh, and it helps if the musicians sound deranged. There are several cuts on the first album by Evan Johns and the H Bombs (“Rollin’ Through the Night”) that qualify. Jello Biafra from the Dead Kennedys produced it. And every one of the group’s subsequent albums has a song or two that are pretty heavy and distorted.Even heavier, more obscure and more deranged are Tight Bros From Way Back When. I have two of their albums, which are relentlessly speedy Midwest hard rock, circa. 1973, with a singer who sounds like he’s having an energy drink tantrum. It’s like a cross of the Stooges and Grand Funk Railroad and I think they are laughing up their sleeves a bit.

Eat of the Dead by Nile: Cuntcrusher by Infant Annihilator: Natural Selection by Rings of Saturn:Reminder: This is a question that is only answerable based on opinion and musical experience, and others may differ in opinion as to what the heaviest metal songs are. I happen to find these three to be of the heaviest of the heavy, and I firmly stand by my selection. This is all for the filters. Filters filters filters.

What song has the most heavy, brutal intro ever?

Nile - Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten

this song is heavier than any of the bands mentioned here, the link to the song is below..... and listen to the whole thing all the way through because it's heavy all the way

What is the most hectic metal song you guys have ever heard?

Those are lame!!! Try Spawn of Possession with uhmmm ... every song!

I’ve listened to a lot of Black Metal, and I’ve listened to Death Metal as well, but what I’ve found is that Black Metal usually focuses on the dark, chilling atmosphere swirling around the same Anti-Christian ideology, though a lot of Black Metal bands don’t necessarily use Anti-Christian ideology (talk about Bathory’s Viking Metal era or Burzum’s lyrics which were heavily inspired by Tolkein’s works, or Immortal’s lyrics which was based on frozen kingdom called Blashyrkh). Black Metal generally utilizes hypnotic (like Burzum) or icy, chilling riffs (like Immortal and Emperor) and blast beats, with bass being rarely heard. Add to that, shrieks and lo-fi production, and then you get this raw sound that has become black metal’s signature, although several bands don’t use the lo-fi production anymore, like Dimmu Borgir. When it comes to Death Metal, there’s loud, heavy distorted guitars with palm muting, accompanied by crunching bass sound and double bass kicking, add to that guttural growls and screams that sounds devastatingly monstrous (like George Fisher or Mikael Akerfeldt), plus there’s not a single trend of lo-fi productions, so all you get is this heavy devastating sound. Plus, there’s some melodic licks and keyboard works, with extreme dexterity and technicality and neoclassical elements, which makes Death Metal even more complex genre compared to Black Metal.Although there are BM bands that has used keyboards (like Dimmu Borgir) or the ones that has experimented with Progressive genre and introduced elements from other genres (like Arcturus), most of BM usually focuses on the atmosphere. Death Metal doesn’t do this.Hence, Death Metal is comparatively heavier than Black Metal.

What is the most sexy/erotic metal song you have ever heard?

Pussy by Rammstein (they have a fair few sex-related songs)
Sex Dwarf by Christian Death (so do they)
Venus in Fear by Cradle of Filth (in a strange way)
Goddess Flesh by Akercocke (not metal sounding, but pretty awesome metal band)
Para-noir by Marilyn Manson (not totally comfortable calling him 'metal', but screw it)

They're the main sex related ones that come to mind. If you mean some that just sound 'sexy', there are plenty more I can suggest haha.

EDIT:
Answers (the *******) censored the title of track 8 from Rammsteins 'Liebe ist fur alle da'

EDIT 2:
And didn't censor that!?

Although there are a ton of bands past and present which qualify, my answer to this is hands-down, old Deicide. The first three albums are juggernauts - especially Legion. The first, self-titled album has more favorites of mine and classics such as Oblivious to Evil, Sacrificial Suicide, and Dead by Dawn, but listening to Legion is like being pummeled by battering rams on each side of your head. The production on that album is to me the perfect representation of what death metal should sound like. Once Upon The Cross slays, also. The construction of the songs and riffs from the Hoffman brothers coupled with Asheim's drumming and Glen Benton's "vocals" along with the lyrics and subject matter make the band just heavy as hell. But then you've got a ton of other bands that could easily take that title just as well, that's the great thing about music is there is something for everyone.
