Will incoming calls be free in Jio if we dont recharge for data pack?
You can't make calls if you haven't recharged your sim with a data pack.Jio uses VOLTE (Voice Over LTE-4G) technology.Jio is only charging their customers for only data packs.As soon as your data plan expires Jio will block your calls and texts but it will continue your FUP speed for two days so you can recharge your phone.After that you can recharge from other numbers or your nearest mobile store.
Why am I able to use Jio's internet even when the prepaid plan has expired?
If you didn't recharge the speed will be reduced. It is a drawback.Calls are blocked.If internet is provided you can still recharge through online. So i guess it is one of the prime reason.Eventually after somedays Jio will block the internet too. Think from the point of the service provider, after all they too need take some profit from you. So recharge soon to avoid block.

Well, if you're using any base plan in Jio (eg. Rs. 149/198/199/299/399 etc.) then you can see there's a daily limit in data and sms. In data it varies on your base plan like you'll get 1GB/1.5GB/2GB etc. per day and in sms you can send upto 100 sms per day. So, if you've consumed the daily data limit then your Rs.10 topup will start working as 10 paise/10 kbps. You'll get the 4G speed until the topup lasts. Similarly if you've reached your daily quota limit in sms (which is 100 sms/day) then you'll not be able to send sms further. In this case if you've recharge any topup of Rs. 10 onwards then you'll be able to send sms as Rs.1/sms.Edit: To up amount or main balance will only works to recharge any base plans.Like if you've Rs.150 main balance then you can recharge the 149 plan from the main balance.Hope it'll help you.

It will reduce to 128kbps , in fact even worse.REASON WHY WE CANNOT SKIP 1 GB LIMIT:Data we use through a specific Jio number is calculated on server based not my jio app or phone based. So even if change my jio app data, snap VPN or change the phone, no use.LOGIC :If we think we are smart enough to cheat a bunch of engineers who are working on Jio for day and night. Is Jio Prime membership compulsory?
No it is not compulsory if you have get a sim before 3rd March , It is on your choice but for any one who want to use JIO after 31ts/2017 then it is advisable and beneficial to be a prime member because by paying just ₹99 you get way more benifit than a regular jio members.But if you are going to take jio sim after 4th March then it is compulsory to be a jio prime member as they are charging ₹99 for sim and making you a default prime member.
