Knocking sound in stomach?

My girlfriend and I haven't had sex in a while and after the first time we did after her period i heard a faint sound like someone knocking inside. I don't think that she is pregnant because each time we have sex we use protection and I never *** during sex. Is it just upset stomach? Am I worrimg too much?

When i back up my car makes a knocking sound ?

go to a parking lot somewhere that is quiet, have a friend or wife help you. put the car in drive turn the wheel all the way to the right and then let off the brake and as the car starts to creep forward in a circle, have the person run or job next to the tire as you accelerate you are listening for a click click click click or the knocking which will get louder and faster as the wheel picks up speed, then turn the wheel all the way to the left and do the same thing on the other side, next try it in reverse to see if you hear any click click click, or the knocking sound, you probably have some loose or broken motor and tranny mounts, since all this stuff is crammed under the hood, you can open the hood, put the emergency brake on tight, and step on the brakes go from park to reverse to neutral to drive, then back to neutral to reverse to park, go back and forth, from reverse, to neutral to park to neutral to reverse then back to park, have some one watching the engine, if it rocks back and forth a lot, your motor mounts are worn out or broken, and the knocking sound is your drive line on the left or right binding from stepping on the gas, also the longer drive shaft on the car usually wears out first usually with the clicking sound as you turn sharply left or right.. but if you are not mechanically inclined, then take the car to a mechanic before the engine falls out of the car ok? .

What is causes the rod knock sound in an engine?

True rod knock results when the rod bearing gets wiped out.  This happens when the hydrodynamic oil wedge is lost between the bearing surface and the connecting rod pin on the crankshaft.  This could be due to one or a combination of several factors:Insufficient oil pressureLow oil viscosityInsufficient oil flow in the bearing surfaceExcessive oil temperatureExcessive combustion pressures Overrevving the engine - high piston inertial forcesAll of those can cause overheating or physical damage of the bearing material, which in modern engines is a lead free aluminum alloy.  If the bearing material overheats it will spall and then can literally melt away, leaving a very large (in bearing terms) gap between the bearing surface and crank pin.  Now the crank pin will start "slapping" the big end of the rod that encapsulates it.True rod knock can turn into a walk home condition pretty quickly, as the now rather large bearing gap can lead to a broken connecting rod and the subsequent hole in the side of the engine block, as well as other cascading effects of a drop in oil pressure and bits of bearing material making it though to other parts of the enginesThere are other noises that can be mistaken for rod knock:DetonationPiston slapPiston pin tickingValve train ticking noises

97 Sunfire wierd "knocking" sound???

Hi All,
About a month ago my 97 Sunfire GT automatic started to develop a slight "knocking" sound. About the best way I can describe it is when the universal on a rear wheel drive vehicle starts to go bad. It is a consistent knocking\thumping sound that gets faster the faster I drive, it starts to get noticable at around 25mph. It is not a loud noise and I can't see that it has effected performance. But what ever it is it is something that is rotating and it appears to have a "Bad" spot as it rotates. It is never random, always evenly spaced out and proportional to the speed I am driving. Driving the car I can just barely feel the thumping under my feet. Really not noticable unless you drive the car everyday.

I check bearing, tires, brakes, rotors and all OK. Maybe a CV joint? If so, how could I check this myself?
Thanks

What is engine knock?

Knocking is a phenomenon of generating unwanted pressure wave which create unpleasant sound and can damage engine wall during combustion in engines. Knocking is largely associated with SI engines. It occurs due to self-ignition of unburned charge into combustion chamber. When two flame fronts in SI engines collide, they produce an unwanted pressure wave which generates unpleasant sound (knock-knock) and can damage engine wall. When the piston reaches at TDC after compression, the spark plug produces spark which ignite the compressed mixture and starts the combustion process. It ignites only those part of mixture witch is in contact with spark plug and generates a main flame front which further ignites the whole mixture. This will generate a high temperature and pressure force inside the cylinder. This burnt part of mixture (combustion products) separate the fresh mixture from spark plug to the other end of the cylinder. As this flame front expands, it compressed the unburned part of the charge. This compression increases the temperature and pressure of unburned part of mixture. If the temperature of this part reaches its auto ignition temperature, it will ignite from other end and a new flame front starts moving towards opposite direction of main flame. When both of these flame fronts collide, it will generate a high pressure wave which produces an unpleasant sound and also damage the cylinder wall.[1]Footnotes[1] What is Engine Knocking? What causes the slight knocking sound on a car when the brakes are applied?

Probably it's a sway bar end link, they love to make that sound also ball joints or outer tie rods are worn out. If jack up the front of the car just grab the whole wheel on both side and try and move it around side to side top to bottom . Have someone with a flash light to see what's clunking or seams loose, grab the outer tie rods and twist them with your hand if there real loose and you can move them with just your hand they prolly need replacement.

When a vehicle makes knocking sounds, what is the problem?

It depends on the engineWhen knocking sound occurring in Petrol engine ,it may be due to fuel characteristics or pre ignitionThe fuel in your car has too low of an octane rating. - The octane rating of gasoline is sometimes known as the AKI--anti-knock index. Manufacturers recommend a certain rating to maintain optimum performance in their vehicles. If you use gas that has an AKI that is too low, you can use an octane booster, purchased at any auto parts store, to bring it back to levels that will allow normal function. If you use the correct rating and it still has issues, try a different brand of gasoline. Using a gasoline with an AKI higher than the manufacturer recommends will not have any adverse affects.Your vehicle has incorrect spark plugs. - Manufacturers have recommended spark plugs for every vehicle, and often list some alternatives. If your car or bike is running anything other than what is suggested, you may have knock. The heat range of a spark plug is often in its part number, and the spark plug is designed to run at that range. Its job--other than producing spark--is also to withdraw heat from the combustion chamber and into the head. Try to change your plugs if altering your fuel doesn't help.Hope this will help you :)Welcome for the suggestions :)Source : google

Hearing a tapping/knocking sound in my wall?

Thank you for all the answers! Especially the one about the raven ;-) As far as I know, these knocking noises, or rather, "a series of knocking/tapping" noises only happen in my bedroom, which is right next to the bathroom. So the pipes explanation could be towards that. I have tried banging real hard on the wall once, yet the noise stops for about two seconds and starts up again. Critters? Perhaps. And my house faces North with the wall with the sonde facing West, therefore the heating explanation could be towards that. However, there is anther house blcking that side of my house so there isn't a lot of exposure to the sun so I mght have to rule that one out. I'm going to take the answer of the pipes as my best answer, although it doesn't happen EVERY time smeone uses the water, but on the other hand, when the household is asleep, therefore no usage of water, the noises do not occur. I hope to soon figure this out. Thanks again :-)
