What Is The Minimum Marks Required To Study In Canada Uk And Singapore

What is the minimum percentage required in the 12th grade to study an undergraduate course abroad?

Undergraduate course abroad? I think you should ask yourself why you want to go abroad. By mentioning just “abroad” in the question rather than “….to study an UG course in Canada/UK/Australia/Singapore” will make someone feel you don't know yourself why you want to study abroad. The only reason I say this is because the country and the course matters a lot. If you are “okay” with any country or University, ah.. it won't be worth studying at all.[math]That was my advice to all high school students.[/math]The high school scores, 12th, matters a lot. For Universities in Singapore, you are required for an additional examinations IELTS with a minimum score of 7.5 bands, and a minimum of 94% in 12 to be atleast 50% surety of Admission there. The universities there have a high rank and thus are too difficult to get in. There are 3 local recognised universities in Singapore; NTU, NUS, SMU.Canada got a big number of recognised Universities and Colleges too. It's far easier to get in Canada than Singapore. All you need to do is score a minimum 80% in 12 boards and a minimum 7 bands in IELTS. Simple as that.US also got lots of Universities. They are as expensive as Singaporean yet easy to get in too! Generally the Admission outcome comes before you write the 12th examinations (lol), but I think they provide a provisional admission at that time. You do need to score minimum of 85% to get in US universities and give an additional examination SAT. If your academic profile is impressive, you may get a scholarship unlike in Canada.AND, for all this propose you need to talk to an Overseas Education Consultant who will help you with your IELTS preparation or SAT preparation, applicantion process and Visa process.Ah, he will say the same what I tpyed above.Phew.

If I study company secretary in India, can I get a job abroad as a company secretary?

Science is universal that's why a person from scientific background can work abroad without second thought but laws are not universal, they are country specific. Every country has it's own set of rules and regulation which simply means that corporate laws, compliance rules, taxation laws and practices etc. that you have studied in India would be irrelevant in UK, US and other nations. That’s why it is difficult for CS to work abroad but “not impossible”.Institute is constantly working towards increasing scope for its members. ICSI has entered into agreements (Memorandum of Understanding) with various nations like UK to facilitate entry of its members in these markets. As per these MoUs candidates are allowed on some conditions. As a matter of fact Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries is going to adopt Secretarial Standards issued by ICSI.If a person wishes to work abroad he/she should choose the nation in which he /she wants to work and then look into the memorandum to check the conditions e.g. you chose to work in London, as per the MOU with UK you will have to clear 3 papers. After clearing papers you can serve in London as a company secretary. There are numerous job opportunities in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore etc.Absolute opportunity in Dubai:- We all know that ICSI has exam centres in Dubai. It means a person who wants to work in Dubai doesn't have to clear additional papers. His/her qualification in India is enough for him to work there as company secretary. A person can apply for the job in Dubai after completing Company secretary course in India, provided he/ she has completed his/her CS course with minimum 65% marks. Vacancies are/were available for CS in the following companies:Robert Half United Arab Emirates - DubaiJorogis Technical Works L.L.C - DubaiTafani Contracting LLC - DubaiKarmen Engineering Pte LtdInter Ocean Ship Repair L.L.CDubai/ UAE24x7 Corporate Solutions India Private LimitedDubai/ UAEAce Employment services Pvt ltd hiring for Leading Construction CompanyDubai/ UAE.I hope it will help you.Good luck!

A student passes his examination with 515 marks having obtained 3% above minimum if he had obtained 710 marks?

assume the minimum marks is 100%

515 = 3% + 100% = 103%

515/103 x 100 = 500 (the minimum marks)

710 / 500 x 100 = 142%

the answer is 42 % above the minimum.

How much Mark should I score in 12th grade inorder to study abroad?

There's no predecided benchmark set by the foreign universities which makes you eligible to consider admission into them. The factors which indirectly influence the range of desirable marks are subjects to be studied at the university level, country where you want to study, university rankings and a number of prerequisites which a particular country requires (the first being the most important and the others being less important but significantly essential in that order). So for example, a country like Australia might want you to score 85%+ for admission in to the top 8 universities in a subject like computer science which is highly sought after given that you scored exceptionally well in class 10th and 12h along with IELTS. An American university might want you to score 70–80% plus if you have scored decent makes in your SAT, TOEFL along with 10th and 12th. SOP & LOR play a much greater role in countries like Canada and US than you imagine. So it's better you list your personal details to the factors I stated above or consult a study abroad counsellor or the university for a clear picture.PS- Your predicted marks play a significant role since you send out your applications much earlier than your 12th results so make sure you perform even better in those half yearly and weekly tests for your teachers to jot down a decent predicted score for you.

I got 5.5 band in IELTS. In which country can I apply for study abroad?

Hey,You can get an admission in any country or college with a 5.5 Band in IELTS. But, the thing is you can’t get an admission in a “reputated” or a “well-ranked” university around the world.The top ranked universities in the world require an IELTS score of 7.0 and no band less than 6.0. I’m talking about Harvard, King’s College London, Cambridge, Oxford, etc. There are not many of them though.There are a lot of other top universities that accept 6.5 overall and no band less than 6.0. This one includes amazing universities like UC Berkeley, U Penn, Cornell University, McGill, USask, UManitoba, UMichigan.With 6.0 in IELTS, you still have a shot at some of the big players. Of course, it’s a minimum requirement. Hence, you should be aiming higher. If you present the exact scores, you might get rejected. This one includes Carnegie Mellon, NYU, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Purdue, etc.An overall band of 5.5 is a minimum requirement for universities like U Alabama, but you can’t be guaranteed an admission as it’s very competitive and there will be a lot other students with a better score in IELTS.You can still look for countries like Germany, Italy, and other universities.All the best.

Is HND / HNC Qualification enough to immigration to Canada?

No. In order to apply as a skilled worker you need job offer in a qualifying profession, plus at least 67 points based on your education, language testing, time in Canada, knowing relatives in Canada, etc.

You will find it extremely hard to find a job offer with a two year diploma in Canada. Software Engineers in Canada have either four year computer science or engineering degrees. You will also find it extremely hard to get the 67 points as education with worth 25 marks. Work experience is out of 21 points. With only a two year degree and one year work experience... getting even the minimum is dificult and actually being selected for one of the 10,000 positions is highly unlikely. There is a self-test on their web site.

Also note that applications are currently not being accepted until next year.
