Which is the most effective way to increase the amount of energy stored in a capacitor - ?

Amount of energy = 1/2 × C × deltaV^2

Increasing the voltage across the capacitor is more effective because the amount of energy stored in the capacitor is porportional to the square of the voltage.

How can you increase your speed for track?

If you want to get faster, you need to build leg power. The best way to achieve leg power is to do lunges, squats and fast sprints.
Plyometrics are also useful because they help to make you quicker and more swift. High knees, butt kickers, power skips, cariocas (crossovers), side steps, one leged hops.

Also: strides, do some everyday to help teach yourself good form. Do 100m strides at 80-85% but work on good arm and leg movement.

Lunges and squats build up quad strength, glute strength and they recruit other muscles to assist them. Michael Johnson Was a huge advocate for these.
To get faster for events like the 100m, you need to focus on raw speed.
To get this kind of speed, you need to Run several 50m repeats at near full speed. If you run at high speeds, your body exerts more energy and force. As you're legs repair the muscles it used during the workouts, they will accomodate your high speed running by making your muscles slightly bigger and stronger with more speed output.

100m repeats are Necessary For helping to get the body used to being able to maintain top speed for a substantial amount of time. If you are running the 200m, you have do run longer repeats too but you didnt mention it so i wont go into too much depth about that.

Here is a good workout i degined for my 100m sprinters:

Warmup, stretch, do plyometrics, and 6 strides.
Do 50 lunges (each leg counts as one, so its 25 on each leg)
Next, do 5x50m at Full speed. Walk back to start point after each one.
Next do 2 sets of 25 pushups (girls can do less IF needed or do girl pushups).
After this, Run 5x100m at 95%.
Jog 2 laps recovery.
Then do this set. 50m, 100m, 100m, 50m. 50 lunges, 100m, 50m.
Do the lunges slowly and you should feel like you got a good workout after you are done with this day.

Here is another good sprinter workout.
6x200m, 4x100m 50 lunges, 25 pushups.
8x50m, jog 2 laps recovery. 50 lunges.
2x200, 3x100, 1x50, 2x100m.
jog 2 laps recovery.
This is a simple workout, but it covers all the necessary aspects of sprinting.

They key is, to run hard. Running hard at high intensities will get your body used to running fast. If you never run fast, how is your body supposed to know you need it to go faster? You train your body to do what you need, whats what practice if for.
Good luck. If you have any questions, ask.

What is the most effective way to increase muscle flexibility?

Kelly Starrett does some amazing work at MobilityWOD. A big concern with crossfit is that it does not focus on progression, flexibility, scaled loads, and proper technique. Consequently with such a focus on strength over a limited range of motion you end up with more damage and poor movement patterns which impede flexibility as well.Trigger points and tight muscles increase with inactivity and age. (I do leg swings based on my age, to make sure I'm doing more as I get older)PNF is great, mainly because it works both active and passive flexibility. Some good resources arePavel Tsatsouline - Relax into StretchThomas Kurz - Stretching scientificallyand Coach Sommers at Gymnasticsbodies.com [9] I'd say diet has a huge effect on overall health and wellness, but not a huge effect on flexibility. Happy stretching!

How do I increase the speed of a solar car ?

OK, let me think whether you are out of your mind or not....
5 meters in 2 seconds equals 2.5 meters in one second. One km has 1000 meters, and one hour has 3600 seconds. So you are asking for a speed of 9km/hr, which equals a fast-walking pedestrian. I would say this is achievable.
But what makes "fast" solar cars different is that they do not take the juice for the motor directly from the solar panel, but the solar panel charges a battery (with high Amp/Hrs), and the motor is not a "toy-style" 3 Volt DC motor, but a motor that can produce incredible torque (thanks to the battery bank's high current it can supply).
Therein lies your problem.

What is the most effective way to increase acceleration, overall speed, and endurance in running?

The incremental treadmill training at varying speeds for 10 second bursts at a vareity of inclines, combined with heavy leg press and jumping drills made me run and jump at a level I never imagined possible. I was jumping so high I didn’t know when I would land. I could outrun anyone. My muscles continually got more efficient while running and that is the key to pushing your body and challenging at higher inclines and speeds.

How to increase ceiling fan speed?

No. The speed can not be increased. To do that you need to understand energy conversion. The amount of energy the fan uses is converted into mechanical energy (rotation of the fan blades). That mechanical energy is converted into wind (air movement). To increase wind you need to increase the mechanical energy. If you simply put different blades of a different size or angle, the net result will still be the same. Running a bigger blade will also waste energy by converting some of that energy into heat loss energy. So changing the angle of the blades or replacing them with bigger blades will only heat up the motor and NOT move more air.

Try this experiment: Get an old fan. Box fan will work nicely. Remove the blades. There should be a flat on the motor shaft. Take a pencil and lay it across the flat but hold one end in your hand. Turn the motor on low. Notice how fast the motor is spinning. You can tell by how rapidly the pencil makes a clicking noise every time it encounters the flat. Next switch it to high. Notice there is practically no change in speed of the motor. The reason is because there is no load on the motor and it can spin easily. But with the blades on the fan the motor has to push air. At the lower speed you are using less energy, so the blades spin slower. But without the blades the motor can spin at nearly full speed at any setting.

Sorry, but there is just no way to increase the fan speed. The best thing you can do is buy a bigger fan. It will move more air.

Energy 101

Best of luck with your project.
