Could Gambit just charge an enemy's body or armor to explode, instead of just throwing charged things at them?

I am a dabbling Marvel Geek so there is a chance I am wrong and id so I'm sure the fanboys and fangirls much nerdier than I will correct me. (And I mean that will all the love in my geeky heart)I think charging armor is a possibility or anything worn on someone's body but I have never seen a reference to him charging a living, breathing object his power deals with changing potential energy into kinetic energy so I guess it's theoretically possible, but I'd wonder if something like breathing or a heartbeat would disrupt the energy flow or the potential transfer of energy and therefore disrupt it and keep the charge from taking ( for lack of a better term). And it would be a “kill the puppy” moment for Marvel. But most of the time Gambit is a good guy and he wouldn't do something so awful, dastardly and disgusting as blow up another living creature. He's a rogue and a great fighter but even he has personal boundaries. That said I have no proof this is just my opinion, but I have read some really tons of comics, interesting books and quasi-science books based on X-Men and mutation. One of the most interesting was this one:Science of the X-Men: Linc Yaco, Karen Haber: 9780743434782: Amazon.com: Books

If Captain America's shield absorbs kinetic energy, why isn't it always freezing?

Like pure Wakandan vibranium (Vibranium), Captain America’s shield (Captain America's Shield) does not absorb all the kinetic energy around it. This is evident by the fact that it bounces off multiple objects with ease. With a variety of materials.(note many of these are also metallic sounds)It most likely absorbs a degree of ambient kinetic energy that is directly around it. But not to the degree of freezing the air around or objects touching it. This can be seen when the vibranium meteorite that formed the Great Mound fell to Earth.Despite being pure vibranium, it is visibly hot.Another reason that why it does not feel freezing, is that vibranium gives off radiation of some kind. This is how Wakanda has certain energy and medical advancements that the rest of the world lacks. Also, why some of their citizens turned into demons.Notice who in the first panel vibranium is described as buzzing. It does not completely absorb energy without any output. This would most likely be the same for Captain America’s shield.Basically, his shield is not freezing because the components of the alloy it is made from would not cause that effect. Yes, it absorbs kinetic energy. But not completely, or without some output (of some kind).

Ironman vs. Gambit. Who would win and why.?

I'd have to give this to Iron Man.

While it's true that Gambit can charge things up to explode, he'd have to touch it to do so. While he DID have the potency of power to do so at a distance, at the moment he can't.

Some are saying that he'd sneak up on Iron Man and blow up the armor - but don't forget, Iron Man has quite the suit - it would warn him of any bogeys on his six before they got too close.

Besides which, fliers have an immense advantage over ground troops, no matter how highly skilled/trained the ground troops are. Especially since said ground troops have limited range to fire, while the fliers have a larger range of attack.

It's the same with Iron Man. His repulsor rays, his tractor beam, sonic blasts, and the multitude of missiles and other weapons he has built into his suit would tag Gambit at some point. I say at some point because we all know that Gambit would duck, dodge and somehow avoid the majority of Iron Man's blasts - but at some point, Iron Man will get a shot in and then it's bye-bye, Cajun!

Super Boy -Prime vs. The X-Men and The Avengers?

That is easy...X-Men and Avengers. Assuming its the Mighty Avengers who at one time had The Hulk, Ironman and of course Thor...who not only has god like powers but hell he is a GOD !!!!... It's not fair if you had Wolverine and The Phoenix.. who would just killed Superboy prime !!!!! and that why I deserve the points... I'm always thinking so you don't have too...
