Why do guys like women who can cook?
I recently met three different guys and one of the first questions that all of them asked me was is if I could cook. What's up with that? One of the guys even sent me a friendly reminder via a text, to enroll in cooking lessons.

Would date a woman that can't cook?
GREAT, SPECTACULAR, EXCELLENT QUESTION. 10 Mantastic points for you. Seriously. I have been dating and in relationships for 23 years (im 40) and I have NEVER been with a woman who can cook. And I mean NEVER. In fact . . . a not-too recent EX of mine actually burned TOAST. . . and thought "separate the eggs" on a recipe card, meant -->> PUSHING THEM APART ON THE COUNTER!! LMFAO!! No I am not kidding. (Now you know why she's an EX) When i was about 7 or 8, my mom told me "I had better learn to clean, do laundry and cook" . . because she was sure no girl would ever be willing to wash my socks, clean up after me or care enough to make sure I ate well. Turns out, she was absolutely right. Women just aren't interested in that. But they LOVE to tell men what MORE we should be doing for them . . . or what restaurants they would "rather" be taken to for dinner . . . . but the ones who get MY RESPECT are the ones who - at least - CARE ENOUGH TO LEARN how to make a plain pasta dish . . . or boil a freakin' egg. THEY WILL SPEND 45 MINUTES STRAIGHTENING THEIR HAIR. . . . AND AN ENTIRE WEEKEND LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT JEANS AND PUSH-UP BRA. . . . BUT WON'T TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE A PROPER OMELETTE. "Look pretty or starve . . . don't make me choose." LOL!!! I can cook like the wind blows. I mean SERIOUS GOURMET sh*t. But sometimes I am absolutely shocked and stunned when "my woman" will come over for a meal I went through the trouble of preparing for HER and she will not even thank me for it. F*cking Brutal. But the WORST is when "SHE" will think it's her place to PUSH THE PLATE AWAY FROM HER because she "just doesn't feel like chicken today". That's when I throw her imitation Fendi bag at her and show her the door while thinking "Thanks mom . . . I would be STARVING today." LMFAO!!!! You have my RESPECT for the effort you are making. If a future girlfriend offered to poor a glass of milk and put and put an OREO cookie on a plate for me . . . I would probably have a heart attack and die of shock on the spot. Yeah, it's a traditional expectation, but it really does go both ways. I've never met a woman who wouldn't love to have her man cook for her.

Pregnant women unable to cook tamales?
That is so silly. My husband is mexican and is full of those superstitions, too. I would say that the myth started because someone wanted the pregnant lady to go sit down and rest, so they made up the story that if she was in the kitchen it would ruin the food. Maybe it was the only way to get the pregnant gal out of the kitchen. My husband also thinks that tickling a baby will cause it to be mute. (heh heh heh, poor guy).
Does capricorn men like women that could cook real well?
Capricorn men are often gourmets. They enjoy good food almost as much as good sex. But cooking well isn't enough for a claim to fame here. A woman also needs to know more than the basics of cooking, how to use herbs and spices, for example. If given a choice, he'd probably be willing to do the cooking as long as you know how to balance your checkbook and where to find the best sales.
