What Is The Name Of This Element

What is the name of the element...?

You mean the name of the compound?

Zinc Carbonate
Gold Phosphate
Silver Nitrate
Aluminium Phosphate
Sodium Peroxide
Potassium Peroxide
Arsenic Nitrate (but I don't think this exists. Arsenic is a non-metal.)

What is the name of this element?

http://www.dayah.com/periodic/

here's a periodic table, now check it up yourself.

What is the name of the element 2H2O?

Water

What is the name of the 118 element?

It is Oganesson (Oganesson - Wikipedia).

What are the names of elements 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118?

Elements 113 to 118 have not been found or synthetically prepared yet. That's why they have the name (ununtrium, ununquadium, ununpentium,...). Those names come from latin words, prefix unun- stands for unknown (or not named yet),suffixes such as -trium, quadium, pentium,... refer to 3,4,5,... or main group 3,4,5,...(3A,4A,5A,...) in the periodic table.
Some reports say elements 113 and 115 were made by some Russian scientists but they are not very stable and exist only in a split of second..

What is the name of the element 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p3?

Its Phorsorus. the way you can tell is take the number after the letter example

1s2 (take 2)
2s2 (take 2)
2s6 (take 6)
3s2 (take 2)

and add them. adds up to 15. if you look on the periodic tabled of the elements phosporus has 15 electrons. (its also the atomic number!!)

If you could name an element, what would you name it and why?

The new elements that could be discovered and named would be after 118. The nucleus will be very unstable hence it would most likely survive for micro or nano-seconds. It may even vanish in femto-seconds. Such materials to survive milliseconds(standard rule to provide discovery credit to the organisation) would require excellent technology and collaboration among researchers. Under such a scenario, mostly a name suitable to the place of discovery or a celebrity (scientists, researchers etc.) will be chosen. Now if I am given a chance(Extremely rare case, so rare that it is almost impossible); I would like to name it after C.V. Raman, First Nobel Awardee from India.Edit:-1) Thanks Soham for correction!

What is the name for these compound element: C12H22O11? H2O?

H2O is water
C12H22011 is sucrose, or table sugar

What is the atomic mass and name of this element?

A student obtained the following data when measuring a sample of element X:

Isotope:
-----------
A
B

# of Atoms:
---------------
A= 40 atoms
B= 160 atoms

Mass of Sample:
-----------------------
A= 400 g
B= 1760 g

*Calculate the following
--------------------------------
1) Percent composition of each isotope (I already know the answer to this part... It's A= 20% and B= 80%.)

2) Mass of Each Isotope (I already know the answer to this part... It's A=10 grams and B= 11 grams.)

3) Atmoic Mass of Element X (I NEED HELP ON THIS PART! HOW DO YOU FIND THE ATOMIC MASS?!)

4) WHAT IS THE NAME OF ELEMENT X? (I ALSO NEED HELP ON THIS PART!)

THANK YOU! :)
