What is the name of the author and novel from which the word "quarks" was taken?

Quarks :
The word was originally coined by Murray Gell-Mann as a nonsense word rhyming with "pork". Later, he found the same word in James Joyce's book Finnegans Wake, where seabirds give "three quarks", akin to three cheers (probably onomatopoeically imitating a seabird call, like "quack" for ducks, as well as making a pun on the relationship between Munster and its provincial capital, Cork) in the passage "Three quarks for Muster Mark!/Sure he has not got much of a bark/And sure any he has it's all beside the mark." Further explanation for the use of the word "quark" may be derived from the fact that, at the time, there were only three known quarks in existence.

What is the name of a novel which you have or can read multiple times, and why?

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper LeeAn incredible expansion to the becoming rundown of fiction books with a mentally unbalanced storyteller. Alienated by other fifth grade understudies as of now (due to her extreme disinterestedness), Caitlin's part as the sister of a center school kid murdered in a school shooting just serves to make others more uncomfortable around her. Caitlin strives to manage the heartbreaking, sudden passing of her darling sibling and her father's ensuing demolition. With the assistance of an astute school instructor she likewise makes advance towards figuring out how to cooperate and standardize all the more suitably with children at school and different grown-ups. Kids who read this will without a doubt leave away with a more prominent understanding of how extremely introverted individuals encounter the world. Assuredly, the savage and coldhearted way some different understudies (and even educators) treat Caitlin will make peruses flinch and create more sympathy for impaired individuals in this present reality. What's more the acceptable message that everybody has interesting qualities is a paramount one. My just bandy with the book is that Caitlin is depicted as having Asperger's and she appeared to be sort of more weakened to me. I was extremely moved by the story and characters in this capable book. It would make a brilliant book club choice for seventh grade and up

What is the name of the novel about a man married to women with only half a body in an island?

I read the story a few years ago when I was in college but I can’t find the name and author of it after all these years. It tells a story of a man who was charged with murdering his wife by chopping her body into two parts from the middle. It then went to a long flashback with the man’s own narration of his past. He was lost in an isolated land where all the women were half-bodied, either the upper body from head to waist nor the lower body from stomach to feet. He married one of the women with only upper body at first, but he felt unhappy from the marriage and abandoned his first wife. His second wife was a woman with only the lower body with whom he lived quite a happy life for years until she died. I’ve forgotten the following plot about how he finally made it to escape from the strange island. After that he met a young widow in a cruise and they fell in love with each other and then got married. The end of their days was that he went out of his mind and killed his whole-bodied wife by chopping her into two parts. It’s a fancy story with some touch of metaphor in body, gender , sensuality and so on. The only problem is that I don’t remember any clue of the name and author of the story. Actually what I’ve read is the Chinese translated version and I have no idea what the original language of the story/novel is. I guess it might be written by some English or German writer due to the so called “heimlich”in it.So, could someone please identity this story ?

Literary Fiction: What is the name of this novel?

Well as for the question's answer , you guessed right . The novel's name is Peyote Road . I didn't get any substantial proof for the but I think the following should be enough.Reason:This link :http://www.critters.org/critters...This link states(you will have to search for the peyote road on the page) that the Novel Peyote road is out for publishing Crossroads Publishing Company .But when I checked the provided link , it was down .Further I searched for the Crossroads Publishing Company , which came to be a religious book publisher .Further why I think it is the right book because :The link states the book's name Peyote Road. From the screenshots provided by you , at the bottom of the page we have  " C:/My Download Files/PeyoteRd.htm"  , Which matches the link (http://www.crossroadspub.com/PeyoteRd.htm ) provided in the Critters Writers Workshop description. Hence, if  a person is to save the page it will be stored as PeyoteRd.htm only. Also one screenshot denotes the at the bottom right of the page , the date as 3/20/00(20th March 2000) which is same as publishing date of the book as specified by the critters link(MAR 2000). P.S. -  As for the pages you found , the only thing i can think of is they can be a sample or the whole book saved from the then existing "http://www.crossroadspub.com/Pey..."  printed on 20th March 2000 , immediately after the book release.I also searched for the author but couldn't find any solid results.
