Is this a normal weight for my age and height?
dont worry this is still normal. what u are doing is very good; id even say admirable. ur diet seems pretty good; dont reduce ur eating habits tho they are fine. keep doing it and u will maintain the same weight for some time. this is the best way to go. u are in a healthy weight. if u are more than 30 pounds ur ideal weight then ur close to being overweight . its hard to lose 15 pounds so keep doing what ur doing and maintaining urself. this is great; i wish i had the same habits as u do when i was that young

My age is 21 & weight is 38 kg.Is it normal?
Thanks for A2A:)Dear,you don't have any health issues including the thyroid test which is negative..great!But you weigh just 38kg which is not okay. You are definitely underweight. Anywhere around 50kg is ideal considering your age and height. So make some effort to put on some weight. Try to follow these tips:Consume at least one banana daily...as each one contains approximately 100 calories.Include starchy foods in your diet regularly. Potatoes are very good examples here.Eat protein rich foods like whole eggs.Add good cholesterol to your diet.Perfect example is peanut butter.Include milk and milk products like cheese, yogurt, butter in moderation.Consume foods prepared in coconut oil.Have those wonder nuts like almonds and pistachios. Apart from these..drink plenty of water and do basic workouts on regular basis. Good luck:)Disclaimer:This answer is not a substitute for a professional medical consultation.
How can I find out the ideal weight for my height and age?
Go see your doctor before you get concerned, they can clearly evaluate your true BMI.Firstly, you're working out regularly so you can toss this chart in the trash:Secondly, so many factors go into healthy body composition that any simple "rule of thumb" (or maybe a chart per se) is over generalized. I am just a touch over 5'10" and weigh 200 lbs. I don't look like a football player, nor a marathon runner, but I'm certainly not borderline obese as this chart would have me believe. I play sports and have worked out my entire life. My strength to weight ratio is ideal but you would never guess me at 200 lbs. (btw..I win a lot of stuffed animals at the County Fair when they guess my weight). Once upon a time I was concerned about my BMI and its possible effects on my health. My doctor told me that bone density, muscle concentration and cell mass differ with all of us. I guess it was his way of telling me that I was dense! (rim shot). He then told me to get out of his office and enjoy my stuffed animal collection. I'm sure your doctor will tell you much of the same.

What is the exact or ideal weight if my age is 24 and my height is 5'2?
There is no such thing as an “exact or ideal weight” for any height or any age.It doesn’t exist. There is a range of healthy weights for any height. For 5′2″, it’s about 10 to 135 pounds, but where any individual should be within that range is dependent on skeletal structure and musculature. Age can be a factor, too, but it’s not as big a factor as bones and muscles. If you want to know your ideal weight, within a range that narrower than 30 pounds, you’ll have to talk to someone who can see you, take measurements, and who can look over your growth history and personal and family medical histories. In other words, this is a question for your doctor, not for strangers on the internet.
