What Is The Point Of Existence Political Existence Even

Why do politics exist?

I think it's to prove or show that people have differences of opinions
when it comes to solving issues.

Why do office politics exist?

Wherever you have a hierarchy, you’ll find people who want to move up that hierarchy. Books, movies, television — the idea of the success story is everywhere. We all know it. You start at the bottom and work your way up. But not everyone can do that. There are fewer people at the top than at the bottom. The ideal is that excellent work is rewarded with a higher position and more authority. Real life is not ideal. There are bosses who don’t reward merit, and some who don’t even recognize it when they see it. There are hardworking employees who never get a raise or a promotion, or worse, who are first in line for layoffs. And then there are the employees who participate in office politics. They form alliances, jockey for position, badmouth their colleagues, all that stuff you’re probably dealing with right now. Maybe it’s out of boredom or defeatism, or maybe it’s just the only way they think they can keep their jobs or get ahead. How different is this from your high school cafeteria, with the cliques and isolationist social groups?Aristotle said, “Man is a political animal.” Office politics is just another example of that.

Why are political parties even in existence since it seems it only serves to create an us versus them mentality?

It is impossible to stop the creation of parties, since in order to do anything one much know who your allies are.Political parties are alliances of people with similar interests. Those interests can be regional, ethnic, economic, religious, etc. With multi-party systems, the us-them dichotomy doesn’t exists in the same way. In the US there are only 2 practical parties - and by that I mean parties with a real chance of controlling the government. In the US one party is often an rough alliance of people whose primary unifying theme is enmity of the other party. The GOP even if it is a ruling party, is a party of people whose primary focus is on the Democrats. They may call themselves conservative, but the party contains a wide range of different ideologies. The Democrats are more unified, though today they too are focus on the other party.A multiparty system should create parties that aren’t focus on just the other party.

Why do politics exist?

Politics exists because there are a finite number of resources. It doesn't even have to be physical resources either. Think about power in a group project. Not everyone who is working on the project can have their ideas implemented because there is only a finite amount of time and the group project solution space is only so big (some ideas won't work together for solving a problem). So the group has to decide which ideas will be used and which will be thrown out. The process of choosing which ideas are used is politicsSo you can think of politics as the process of allocating finite resources in a group of two or more people. So it arises because of the finite nature of the universe.

How do i stop overthinking my life/existence?

Ok, a few months ago, i dont know why, but i started thinking about life. What is the point to life, why does my life even exist. why does ANYTHING exist? im not suicidal, but from that point on its gotten the point where its a struggle to even do stuff even more. EVERYTHING i do always ends up to the question, "whats the point?" and now i ask that about everything, and its driving me INSANE. ill give a few examples, all of which are questions which dont, have never, and will never have an answer.

Whats the point of life?

Why am i here?

Whats the point in doing ANYTHING if im just going to die anyways?

those 3 questions just infinitely swirl around my head and its DRIVING ME CRAZY! its gotten to the point where my grades have dropped, i dont do any of my hobbies anymore, and i just sit there in school. because im going to die anyways, and non of it will ever matter to anyone. you might say to make an impact on the world or change peoples lives, but eventually earth will be consumed by our sun and it will alllll be gone. So whats the point?

please, PLEASE HELP ME O.O! i either need an answer to this, "So whats the point?", or i need a way to get these thoughts out of my head where i will never think about them again. its to the point now where i dont WANT to commit suicide, but it might just be better than having these ******* questions rule my life.

Do honest politicians exist on earth?

I'm probably gonna get downrated for this, but I think Ron Paul is a very honest politician.

I say that because he knows what he believes even if his constituency disagrees with him, even if his party disagrees with him he will still say what he believes.

I'm not a huge Ron Paul supporter, but I like him as a man because I believe he won't sell out for anything.

Why do politics exist in the workplace?

Politics exist every time there are two or more people in a room, space or context. Politics exist in friendships, in marriages.I dare say politics exist within individuals, too. When you decide to sit on the couch and watch TV instead of going out for that run, it's because one part of you persuaded the rest of you that its needs were the most important. It might even be just that another part of you "refused to play politics" within your head, and never even showed up at the table.Politics has always existed and will always exist at every level of human existence. Monkeys and dolphins have politics too. And I think bees and ants have their own systems of figuring out where to go, what to do.Politics exist whenever different elements compete for limited resources. In its most primitive state, that means violence. That's a kind of politics too- a way of governing. Politics is ultimately all about decision-making, at some scale. Politics exist in the workplace because decisions need to be made.(You might wonder, why not outsource the decision-making to some transparent process? Sure. But who or what operates that process? Who regulates it, who keeps it running? Politics is inescapable. At least, as long as there is scarcity, and there are decisions to be made.)

Do pigs even exist in Alaska?

I know for sure that Alaskans have access to lipstick, but seeing as how the climate might have an impact on a pig, do any of their kind live in that snowy land?

Why do stupid politicians tend to lead countries even though more knowledgeable politicians exist?

How can I answer this question when the “stupid politicians” you are referring to are only elected by the general public like you and IThe only solution to this is to make sure that you vote above class and caste politics. The change will start with you and then the rest would follow. Do not vote for a party only on ideological basis but try to look at the candidate or representative who is ultimately responsible for your welfare.
