What Is The Problem When Connecting My Computer To The Tv Through Hdmi

Problems connecting Macbook Pro with HDMI TV?

I have a Macbook pro, 2011, with a mini display port. I connected it to my tv with a mini display port to HDMI cord, then changed the channel to the corresponding HDMI Channel. The TV and computer sync, with a blue screen.
Then the TV flashes black, static, and then my computer screen, over and over again. It flashes each only for a couple seconds, and I think I hear an occasional buzz from my TV?
I was hoping someone had a clue as to what is wrong-is it my TV, Cord, or Computer? Anything I did wrong?
Thanks for the help-it is much appreciated!

Can I connect a cable set top box to a computer screen with a HDMI cable?

Yes. You can connect the HDMI output of Set top box to the computer screen provided the connecting computer screen supports resolutions given by STB.  Since the STB will support many resolutions but computer screen supports minimum resolutions ( Most ppl use computer screen for VGA output ). You can change the STB output resolution (say 1080p/720p ) and connect to the monitor screen if output not seen.

Problems while connecting laptop to TV via HDMI cable?

I have an Acer Aspire 5745G (core i5/500GB/4GB) which runs on Windows 7 Home Premium (pre-installed) & has a Gfx Card Nvidia GT-330M. Today, I purchased a Belkin (3 ft.) HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my LCD. However, Windows did not detect the HDMI connection. I swittched my TV to HDMI input and connect the HDMI cable in the appropriate hubs. But the display won't show up on my LCD. I went to Control Panel > Adjust Screen Resolution and tried the "Detect" option. It just flashed "1" on my laptop screen and nothing still on the LCD.
This is really getting on my nerves. I need urgent help guys.

Thanks in advance. :(

Connecting TV to laptop with HDMI cable-Signal gets disrupted?

I have been connecting my TV and laptop with an HDMI cable for a while now. However, recently I've been having a problem. After watching something for a while..probably around 30-40 minutes the signal gets lost. This causes my TV to say no signal and the TV program sound starts playing from my laptop. However, moving the mouse instantly restores the signal and the sound moves back to my TV.

I know this sounds like an idleness issue but I do move my mouse occasionally and this has never happened before until recently. I am thinking I might have accidentally changed some settings on my laptop but I'm not sure what they could be. I looked at my power plan and the laptop is programmed to turn off the screen in 15 minutes of idleness and to go to sleep after 20 minutes of idleness. But this isn't enough time, it seems to happen within 30-45 minutes even if move the mouse...

Any ideas?

How do I adjust TV resolution when I connect my laptop to TV using HDMI cable?

In Windows 10, right click on your desktop > Display settings > Adavanced Display Settings. Select the monitor number (find out which one is which using Identify option), set the resolution. I think there will problems if you try to use both displays simultaneously (You might need to turn off laptop’s display & use only the TV).For selecting display: Click on notification button (present at right end of task bar) > Project > Second screen only

My monitor says "No Signal" when I connect it to my Laptop via HDMI, but works wonderfully when connected via VGA. What is the Issue?

If you're getting TV or monitor no signal issues after connecting them to your PC via HDMI ports then don't worry, the No Signal message means that the TV or monitor isn't getting any input from the currently selected source.First of all unplug the cable running from your monitor to your laptop and plug it back in, making sure the connection is firm. The most common cause of this error is a loose cable. Also confirm that the HDMI cable is in working condition and compatible with your laptop.Few of the solutions are:Fix 1: Update the chipset drivers and graphics driversFix 2: Switch the Input sourceFix 3: Try unplugging then plugging the power cable of the TV or monitorFix 4: Disconnect all HDMI sources then reconnect them one at a timeFix 5: Try a factory reset on the TV/monitor
