Download PS3 Games to PS4 From PS Store?
You will be able to play ALL PS1, PS2 and PS3 games on your PS4. Starting in 2014 via Sony's recently acquired Gaikai service and technology (cloud-based gaming tech), you will be able to stream your old games to your PS4 system (PS3 games and PS1/PS2). Although you will be able to stream these games to your PS4, the PS4 is NOT backwards compatible (meaning that you will NOT be able to play your PS1/PS2/PS3 disc games on the next-gen console). As I said, NO PS1/PS2/PS3 disc games, but you can stream them with Gaikai. So, my advice is to continue purchasing games on the PSN, but try to purchase as much content on the PSN rather than on disc. This way, when the Gaikai service is up and running in 2014, you can then stream your PS3 content to your PS4 system. I doubt Sony is going to charge a fee to "re-download" your recently purchased PSN content onto your PS4, but I'm not really sure if they have commented on that part yet. I seriously doubt Sony will charge you "again" or even a small fee to download previously purchased PSN content to your PS4, as this will upset gamers (as we all know from the recent E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles, CA, Sony is in the business of keeping gamers on their side... and happy)!!! This is a technology I don't think they explained that well, but is looks like it will be very impressive -- like onlive but with what appears to be a ton of polish... Hopefully it works brilliantly when it hits the tubes.The gist is, the game runs on their billion dollar server farm, and just video is streamed to you. You input to the controller and it sends it back to the farm to process and send you the next frame of animation.In practice, OnLive would often resemble a YouTube video on a slow connection... But it's an interesting trade-off in that you have infinite processing power for an occasional drop-off in fidelity. That's OnLive, but this will be Gaikai and Sony. Hopefully they're really drilling down to reduce this latency... It was reassuring to me that they called out the need to build the fastest gaming network ever. And apparently Gaikai has set a world record for something like that.Consider me excited for PS4. (Wish they woulda rethought the name, but at least it's not "WiiU")

If you watched both the presentations from Sony and Microsoft and you've been keeping a constant watch on Google and the social networks like I have then you know what's what with each console and if you know the type of gamer you are then you know which console you are leaning to the most at this moment so which is it for me its the ps4. No it will not play the physical game disc because Sony over time plans to roll out a streaming service to include virtually all PS1, PS2 and PS3 games ! In other words you'll buy the same game that you may have purchased in the past in disc form but this time you'll pay to stream it to your PS4 !
