What are the best cities to live in Florida and Texas for business and high quality of life?

That’s an unanswerable question since what’s best for you may not be for someone else.If you are wealthy and socially active - West Palm Beach.If you are a 20-something, Hispanic or Bilingual, tech savvy - MiamiIf you are young heirs who want to “party” - Miami BeachIf you are young professionals who want a house and garden and live among the same - Coral GablesIf you are not Hispanic and can’t adapt to a diverse place - Tampa, Boca Raton, St. Petersberg, Tallahassee, Jacksonville.If you are gay, Anglo and retiree - Ft. Lauderdale and Key WestIf you are real estate mogul - anywhere in South Florida, Central Florida or the Gulf Coast.If you are in the import/export, logistics, travel, international banking, international law areas - South FloridaIf you want a place that is cheap and easy to get away from - MiamiIf you are Quebecker and want to be among your own kind - HollywoodIf you are in the Hispanic media business - South FloridaIf you are Anglo, straight and retired - Naples and other Gulf townsIf you think that entertainment can be had at theme parks - OrlandoIf you love sub-tropical, hot, humid summers with risk of hurricanes - anywhere.If you are Hispanophone and don’t think you’ll ever learn English - Hialeah or Miami near Calle Ocho.If you like boating and fishing - the Keys or anywhere on the coast.If you love eating different cuisines - MiamiIf you are Haitian - North Miami or Little Haiti, MiamiIf you are Cuban - Hialeah or MiamiIf you are a well-to-do retiree from India and want to live in a community of fellow immigrants and eat Indian food: Indian American retirement community of Shantiniketan in Tavares, FlaIf you are rich and want to have a secondary home - Key Biscayne or, le nec plus ultra, Fisher Island (but sometimes smells from port and waste treatment plant nearby).If you are a model and want a cheap, well-connected base - Miami Beach.

I am interested in buying a condo in Panama City Florida. Since they have a new airport and the prices are low, is this a good investment?

It can be or you can loose your shirt like many investors do. It depends what kind of unit you’re interested in buying… are you buying a cheap unit built in the 60’s or 80’s that still has the hokey tired “beach” interior or are you looking at investing $3m into a modern 2,500sf property in Alys Beach or the like?Just be realistic, cheap people stay in cheap condos which brings a different set of problems to the investor/owner; those with more buying power are elsewhere and further west down the beach. You’re more likely to have Spring Breakers tearing your property up at the older condos. Thankfully the Tourism Development Council and the City finally got their heads out of their rear and started cracking down on the problem demographic by being proactive.Depends on what your definition of “good investment” is when it comes to getting a return on your money. If $2k/mo minus HOA and fees sounds good to you then that’s different than expecting $8k/mo for the busy season.If you’re looking for a quick hit (buy, get some equity and rental money before selling at a profit) … you might really, really, pay attention to the local market before making the jump.

Based on a monthly income for 3,600... What does it cost to purchase a home?

This is impossible to answer with a dollar value since the cost of the home is not given. Here are a couple of sample answers when the price of the home = $100,000 and $200,000.

If the Price of the Home = $100,000 and the term of the loan is 30 years, then...
Downpayment = $10,000
Monthly Principal and Interest Payment = $599
Monthly Escrow (Tax and Insurance) = $240
Total Monthly Payment = $839

If the Price of the Home = $200,000 and the term of the loan is 30 years, then...
Downpayment = $20,000
Monthly Principal and Interest Payment = $1,198
Monthly Escrow (Tax and Insurance) = $240
Total Monthly Payment = $1,438

Are you sure the exam says "monthly income"?? I don't see how an answer to this problem is possible without providing more information (such as a monthly principal & interest payment). Here's how much the house would cost if you assume that the "monthly income" of $3600 is really the "monthly payment."

If the Monthly P&I Payment = $3,600
Monthly Escrow (Tax and Insurance) = $240
Total Monthly Payment = $3,840
Interest Rate = 7%
Term = 360 months (30 years)
Downpayment = $60,123
Price of the Home = $601,230

This home price seems to be a relatively round number so I suspect that I might have been right in thinking you misread or mistyped the question. The monthly income has nothing to do with the answer.

Good luck!

If I get paid 8 dollars an hour and work 4 days a week, 8 hours a day, how much do I get paid per week?

35 years ago the minimum wage was $ 1.45 /hr . in 35 year the cost of everything like food , gas , oil , rent , has gone up 10 times . so with no raise , just adjusted for inflation , the minimum wage SHOULD be $ 14.50 / hr to have the same purchasing power as back then . you are being exploited by the zionist agenda of greed of wall street , corporations , and the bankers .
you are grossing 256.00 and probably taking home about 195.00 , but you should be making 429.00

How did French and Spanish colonial inhabitants of Louisiana territory and Florida feel about their land being annexed by the US and becoming American citizens after the Louisiana purchase and Adams–Onís Treaty?

Actually, maybe you should research the Chitimacha tribe, which was here in c. 1718, when Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville noticed a piece of dry land sticking out of the swamp, looking for a good place for a camp to watch for the British (and it was an excellent one as well, because it was in the curve (crescent— hence, the Crescent City, New Orleans) of the Mississippi River, where you could see enemies coming from either direction), which is now the French Quarter.The Chitimacha tribe was literally run off by Bienville and his ‘crew’, but are still in existence as a sovereign Indian nation a little farther west.When the original ‘Quarter’ area (which has its own unique story about why it’s called the ‘French Quarter) began filling up, people still wanted to move here. So, they started bringing in mud and dirt, to fill in the area outside of the Quarter, which was nothing but swamp (and is now our downtown, Central Business District. the Faubourg Lafayette, named after a famous Frenchman, who declined the mayorship in c. 1780.This city has been around for nearly eighty years before the federal government and our first president, which is why it has the title, “The city that care forgot”, and the mentality of, Who are you? And, why should we care? We were here, gambling (as in riverboats), f*cking (prostitutes, as in Storyville), and generally being lawless renegades before the U.S, was the U. S. We have nightclubs here that are literally older than some places are states.The police department (documented), literally, physically, ‘drafted’ Spanish sailors who were Merchant Marines, to be on the force, because they couldn’t get anyone to volunteer or work. They were a bunch of thieving, plundering guys. I was talking to the PD historian one day and I said, “Well, not much has changed!”Great question. Thanks.
